My review is strictly based on my experience at the prescription counter/pharmacy section. The wait to get a prescription filled is oddly long regardless of what time or day you visit, having waited a half hour on more than 1 occasion with barely any customers present. They used to have great staff at the counter who were professional, and kind but now the staff has completely changed and they are rude and very unpleasant to deal with. Every single time I go I witness an unpleasant exchange of words between a staff member and a client, not acceptable. They have also made errors in entering my insurance information making me have to pay upfront and return for a refund after my insurance company confirms that my coverage is active, but staff incorrectly entered my birth date or coverage info, and then of course returning for the refund I got attitude from the staff member and no apology for their error. Tired of dreading going to pick up a prescription I finally switched pharmacies and what a difference. I've even called and left a message for the pharmacist when switching my families file to another pharmacy to speak to him about my concerns and as expected, never got a call back. Funny thing, when I called the nearby Uniprix to switch my file they automatically guessed which pharmacy I was transferring my file from, guess I am not the only one!

They also sell basic grocery needs as well but once again, the price-tag is steep. Milk is already expensive at $4+ at Maxi, when it's $7, you have to wonder if they actually manage to sell anything here and if they do, perhaps I'm not the target audience for their sales, you know, those "devilishly handsome logical types" audience group. However the pharmacist and crew are very competent and polite and deserve a good mention.

The cosmetics department is closed but they do have a few basic ones if you need them. All products behind glass are unavailable during the night shift. There is a sign that explains mandatory baskets for customers between midnight and 06:00 am, they also the baby formula to a limit of 2. Gift cards are limited to 2 and must be cash only. Last but not least, there are no returns at night. The staff are very helpful with indicating where you can find things or they will actually show you where it is. There is no delivery service, but you can order from the apps if you're feeling under the weather and can't make it in person. For the actual pharmacy department, they are excellent best in-person service I have had. Also, take note that the pharmacist is located on the second floor.

Her excuse did not convince me. -- The last point is that they have a male technician who I think is dumb ;one reason for saying so : One occasion I asked for help in buying some product for an itchy scalp, he asked me to turn around so he could "see¨ 'then I was told a prescription was needed to help me. They are situated at a strip/parking mall and right across the street from the Cote Vertu metro station (and Cote Vertu bus terminal where a lot of buses stop). They generally have plenty of items that are advertised as being on sale in their flyer. Unlike the other pharmacies that I've gone to (Jean Coutu and Walmart), when getting your prescription filled here, they will give you a "pager" so you can walk around the store and continue your shopping. Once your prescription is ready, they will buzz your pager informing you that you can head back to the prescription medication section to pick up and pay for your prescription. At the same time, they will also ring up any items that you want to purchase from the store so you don't have to pay for your prescription and then line up at the cash register near the exit to pay for your other items (but most of the other pharmacies that I've gone to will also do this). To be honest, I don't go to Pharmaprix that often since I find Pharmaprix's non-sale prices to be more expensive than at other pharmacy prices or grocery store prices. This Pharmaprix does have a large grocery section where you can find things that you can also find at a depanneur (prices are generally cheaper than at a depanneur). The only thing is that they are right beside a large grocery store (Provigo) so you can get all your grocery items at Provigo. However, if you are already in Pharmaprix (for whatever reason), you can get your grocery items or snacks at the same time without having to leave and go to another store.
