I went to the Uniprix entrance from the outside entrance since I believe that the entrance within the Place Vertu mall was closed due to COVID-19. I arrived at the location a few minutes after 5:00pm as I was working from home until 5:00pm. The Canada Post service center was open and I felt that it wasn't manned adequately after 5:00pm as people started to show up after 5:00pm and I was 3rd in line and the line didn't move for about 20 minutes due to one of the earlier customers wanting to send multiple envelopes (I'm assuming with tracking). Once the line started to move and I was being served, I showed the person behind the counter, the bar code which I was emailed. I had 2 parcels (with 2 different bar codes sent via 2 different email messages) but he only scanned the one bar code. He came back with my 2 parcels and I was a bit confused. I mentioned that I had another email message for a different parcel and he told me that he got that package without needing to scan the code from the other email message. I'm not sure how secure it is sending Amazon packages to this location but the person behind the counter didn't ask me to present my government ID. Even though signature wasn't required for the packages/shipper, I felt that he should have still asked me to show my ID. He only scanned the email message bar code from my cellphone before bringing my package. He also scanned the bar code from one of my email messages and not the other email message and brought the other package at the same time.

Like all things in Pharmacy's the price tag is too high for what things are worth, the line-ups tend to back up during lunch and the staff isn't overly present. I've been to this Jean Coutu a few times and have never had any issues with my prescriptions or…read morewith any type of shopping that I've done here. With a few other pharmacies that I've gone to (in order to fill a new prescription from a physician), I've occasionally been either asked to return the next day or asked to go to another pharmacy under the same banner. For example, I've gone to one of the pharmacies within a Walmart and they didn't have my prescription and I was asked to return the following day. So far after using this pharmacy for over 5 years, I've never had any occasion to either call ahead for my prescription or where I was asked to return on a different day or go to a different Jean Coutu. Depending on the time that I've shown up for my prescription, I have found that sometimes the wait time can be a bit long to fill the prescription (~10 minutes). I've always gotten good service from the pharmacists when I've asked them for advice/questions on over the counter medication or medication that I had been prescribed by my physician (ex: missing a dosage, etc.) This Jean Coutu has free wifi which I've used and like a few of the pharmacies, it also has a free blood pressure testing chair. They have a nurse on duty for certain medical procedures but I've never used this service. They also offer picture taking for passport or RAMQ (medicare) cards but I've never used this service from them either. They accept the 3 major credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, and Visa) and debit cards. They also accept Airmiles for those people who have membership with Airmiles. There is a decent sized parking lot behind this Jean Coutu. I didn't count the number of parking spaces but I would estimate that it is around 20 parking spaces. At the days/times that I've gone, I've never been in a situation where the parking lot was full.

She approached me with an unfriendly face and tone saying "Hello. You cannot open them." I said "Oh, sorry". Then she turned her back. It just does not feel right how she looked at me and her tone. Very unfriendly. A more professional and friendlier service would be to say "Sorry, Miss, you cannot actually open them." Instead of buying the one I chose, I decided not to and will not ever buy again at that branch in Saint Denis, Montreal. Nor will I want to visit any Jean Coutu branch anymore.

They are quick, professional, friendly, on the ball, and totally non-judgy. They are as cool with me as they are with the old folks in here with their twenty prescriptions. Aside from the pharmacy, I like the madames at the front cash. They remind me of the ladies who told me to unroll my skirt in high school - no nonsense, but sweet and ultimately kind of cool. A hidden gem!…read more After a long and stressful day waiting at the Children's Hospital to get a prescription for one of my twins who caught an bacterial infection from one of his playmates at day care, I was drained! As you can understanding, my only wish like any father is to take care of my son who was feeling ill and needed comforting. The health care in Montreal isn't the most compassionate, you see the doctor or pharmacist barely uttering a word and off you go, that's not what I needed. Perhaps it was a sign from above but I decided to stop at Pharmacie Jessie Haggai because it was nearby, and I can only say that I've discovered the promised land, the land of milk and honey! It's said that if you want to meet a princess, make yourself into a prince. No need at this pharmacy. Jess the Pharmacist is an enchanting, compassionate, caring and stoic individual. The service was professional and memorable. If only more pharmacist were as fine as her! Overall impression After this wonderful experience, My family and myself feel blessed to count Jess the Pharmacist in our lives, an individual that is privileged to live a life worthy of the calling she has received to be humble, gentle, patient and bearing with one another in love.
