Terrible experience. Extremely slow service, rude staff, and very poor quality photos. They told me I could get the digital file on USB, but when I came back with it the next day, they refused, wasted my time, and rudely said I had to pay again for new photos. This is the worst Pharmaprix store in Montreal, of all the Pharmaprix's I have visited (and I've been to at least 20 over the years, in the downtown area, Cote des Neiges, Westmount and Outremont, and outlying neighborhoods). In fact, it's a rarity that I will give any establishment a one-star review (check my stats) but in this case, one star is being generous. I'm giving one star because this site carries a decent amount of merchandise - all the basics, and a bit more. That's it. Many of the shelves are in disarray. The employees on the floor are grumpy; when I pass and smile, they grimace. Literally, grimace. It's clear that none of them want to be there. I used to live in Cote St. Luc 20 years ago, and this used to be my go-to pharmacy. It was terrific then. And over the years, when I've visited my folks who live in Montreal, we'd come here, and this store still was good: efficient, friendly staff, diverse product lines, well-stocked, etc. But something must have happened in the past few years, as this store is now the worst I've been to. (So sad to say, but true). Yesterday when I visited, I couldn't get over the unsmiling, cold employees working the floor (I had passed three while walking up the aisles). When my mom and I checked out with various candies for my kids and other small items, we encountered the most unprofessional casher EVER: first she ignored us and just spoke to her colleague across the way, all the while ringing us up. When she finally looked at me, she asked if I had an Optimum card. I asked if I could use my card from Vancouver. She looked confused. I showed her the Optimum card (it looks the same) so she just nodded. I swiped it and her monitor said "not authorized". So she had to call over a colleague to help her. The manager or colleague came by and they both seemed confused. I asked if this was due to my card being issued in Vancouver and they looked at me as if I were from Mars, and continued to talk amongst themselves. I said to forget about using my card, I just gave them the cash. The cashier then just started ringing up the person behind me. No "thank you", no eye contact, nothing. It was a strange exchange, and I would have preferred checking out at a self-serve cash (if there had been one). That would have been a friendlier transaction that what had occurred with this employee. I doubt I'll ever return to this Pharmaprix again. read more

Agree with this being the worst place with the rudest employees especially the grumpy old lady who takes prescriptions. Extremely rude, talking over me, saying she would not refill my prescription, and even got into an argument. Why not just explain, and tell customers you will see how you can help your customer? Without a doubt, this is the worst drugstore I've ever been to. With some exceptions, the majority of employees are incredibly rude and unhelpful. The weekend manager actually called me 'stupid' in front of other customers, because I pointed out that his cashier had made a mistake and he was insisting that she had not. This cashier had been too busy blabbing with her colleague, while scanning my order, so she hadn't been paying attention. But she decided that her mistake was my fault, since I hadn't noticed it. So she's basically admitting that she made a mistake, while her manager is saying that she didn't! Total incompetence and completely unprofessional and absolutely no regard for customers. I was about to spend over $125, but abandoned my purchases and went elsewhere. On top of it, despite the fact that this pharmacy is so close to home, several years ago I switched all my prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy charged way too much, made constant mistakes and half the time my order wasn't ready, or had been 'lost'. I don't plan to shop here for anything anymore. OMG. They are terrible! First time, After more than half an hour, They gave me a wrong medication and I had been overcharged for that and it took 30 minutes further to makeup! Second time, I was in front of reception desk for 15 minutes and no one cared about me and took 30 more minutes to receive my medication! And again last night I went there to pick up my medication, I charged for one month but in the pills' bottle there are just for 15 days! They really drive me crazy! The cashier was rude and impolite as well. In one word, it is a garbage. read more
