I went to the Uniprix entrance from the outside entrance since I believe that the entrance within the Place Vertu mall was closed due to COVID-19. I arrived at the location a few minutes after 5:00pm as I was working from home until 5:00pm. The Canada Post service center was open and I felt that it wasn't manned adequately after 5:00pm as people started to show up after 5:00pm and I was 3rd in line and the line didn't move for about 20 minutes due to one of the earlier customers wanting to send multiple envelopes (I'm assuming with tracking). Once the line started to move and I was being served, I showed the person behind the counter, the bar code which I was emailed. I had 2 parcels (with 2 different bar codes sent via 2 different email messages) but he only scanned the one bar code. He came back with my 2 parcels and I was a bit confused. I mentioned that I had another email message for a different parcel and he told me that he got that package without needing to scan the code from the other email message. I'm not sure how secure it is sending Amazon packages to this location but the person behind the counter didn't ask me to present my government ID. Even though signature wasn't required for the packages/shipper, I felt that he should have still asked me to show my ID. He only scanned the email message bar code from my cellphone before bringing my package. He also scanned the bar code from one of my email messages and not the other email message and brought the other package at the same time.

Not much to say about this Pharmacy. It's not as big as some others in the area but it's located…read morenear work and have most things. Like all things in Pharmacy's the price tag is too high for what things are worth, the line-ups tend to back up during lunch and the staff isn't overly present. I have been a weekly customer at your branch since opening, and the one time i went out of my way to give you my business, even though the dollar store was closer, i was responded to with an abrupt "NO" when asked if my favourite pharmacy carried my beloved chips. During the last year, I had some health issues, and had to use various meds, and every time I went to see them, they made sure I was okay with everything I had to use, that I fully understood the implications, and it didn't bother them that they were spending an hour talking with me about the effects of the meds and why I should or should not use them. They also always answered any question I could have, and would also care to send the meds to my place if I couldn't make it while they were open. They are very understanding and also take the time to contact the physicians or specialists if they fear the prescription is not right. Because they keep a very close follow-up, they can also suggest better meds when they see that the doctor didn't get the whole story of if they judge there could be another med more useful or less of a hassle than what was originally given. They helped me like no other pharmacist ever did, and they deserve to be known for their extraordinary work.

Very unfriendly. A more professional and friendlier service would be to say "Sorry, Miss, you cannot actually open them." Instead of buying the one I chose, I decided not to and will not ever buy again at that branch in Saint Denis, Montreal. Nor will I want to visit any Jean Coutu branch anymore.

They are quick, professional, friendly, on the ball, and totally non-judgy. They are as cool with me as they are with the old folks in here with their twenty prescriptions. Aside from the pharmacy, I like the madames at the front cash. They remind me of the ladies who told me to unroll my skirt in high school - no nonsense, but sweet and ultimately kind of cool. Whatever, it's a jean coutu. And I'm a people lover, therefore stars! Stars for everyone!
