Nice large pharmacy located in downtown Montreal, not far from Rue Guy on St Catherine. The store has a nice large layout, with a huge health and beauty cosmetic department and large shelves for all kind of drugstore type items...this place is huge, so you are bound to find what you want here. The prices are a bit high, but that is expected from a drugstore as compared to a grocery store...convenience over price. I checked out some of their food items and snacks and it was fun to see some flavors of chips that you can not find in the States....like Ketchup !! I bought a Christmas gift kit. When my guests went to claim the gift they were told they needed the receipt !!! Who gives a box gift and then expect the receipt! The definition of a gift is for people to not know how much you spent lol !!! It's a total scam ! I paid 150$ for a perfume gift box. I was told they could use the gold card inside the gift to purchase a 100ml of the perfume they preferred ! Once you arrive with this card they tell you you need the invoice and proof of payment. lol ! Never again ! I paid 150$ to be given 6 different perfums that I would have receive over the counter !total scam !be aware!!!! read more

Talk about convenience! I need a banana whilst out in downtown and came across this, hence my first time at Pharmaprix. Firstly, I love that they have fresh produce being that it's a pharmacy after all, although I guess they do charge premium for convenience because the small banana busy CAD 0.89. Another thing I liked was the availability of self-checkout and there was minimal wait. All in all a good experience for this visitor. read more

Ratings for this particular location seem to be all over the shop, but this review will not talk about the specifics of how this location can get pretty busy and be at times, well, how do I say; a bit crazy - but look it is downtown near a university and so in a way; to be expected. I will say again this particular location is extra busy and tumultuous; ah, yes that's a better way to describe it. What it will mention - specifically - is a shoutout to an exceptional staff member who handled the front cash during the evening shift of Pharmaprix's big 60th Anniversary promotion day - alone. Let me punctuate this: Nancy was amazing! She deserved a medal of distinction for keeping up with the line, keeping calm and carrying on with a mild manner. Well done! Bravo! read more

Great store !! It's loaded with an amazing pharmacy team who is super helpful to me with advice during the pandemic that doesn't require me to go see a doctor. They have a great home & gift selection also which helps on those smaller trips that I grab all of my home goods, foods and cleaning items. Often they have great sales of various items and also coupons on the Pharmaprix app that you can use to earn extra points. I love using the self checkouts which they keep clean and sterilized. The staff there is always super helpful. It also has a grocery selection with everything from fresh, frozen and dry goods. I love their holistic and protein there ! I highly recommend as they don't have a huge line or wait and the staff is always great. read more

This Pharmaprix is located in Alexis Nihon Plaza, and it is what I'd consider a medium-sized Pharmaprix store (in other words, I've visited larger ones and smaller ones. This one is smack dab in the middle). It has the basics and then some, but not quite the variety of the larger PP sites. I've heard mixed reviews about their pharmacy services here but I cannot comment on those as I personally have not used the pharmacy here. I CAN say that the post office area, although small, is terrific. Today I visited and the nicest, sweetest girl was working the counter. She was incredibly efficient and, again, was SO lovely. (I wish I took note of her name. She mentioned she was 20 years old, like my daughter who I mentioned). Terrific post office here. read more

I do love this store and it's very convenient but every time I come into this store I am followed by one specific security guard. He follows no one else but me around the store and I spoke to him about it and he stated " he's security and he can follow anyone around". I go to this store often and everytime I come into the store he follows me. I spoke to the manager and hopefully he does something about it but I'm not happy with this. This is related to an experience I had in 6180 Chemin De La Cote-Des-Neiges, Montreal, today March 28, 2021 at around 6:30 PM. I am a student and Permanent Resident here and visit this Pharmaprix store atleast once a day for the last 3 years. I asked the lady at the reception to refull my OPUS student card and she said that I have to pay $27.25 which is normal fare and not the discounted one. I said I will not pay and cancel the transaction. She was rude and told me that it is not possible and that I should pay. I told her sorry and asked to get in touch with Manager or STM, she did and was able to reverse the transaction. Very rude customer service!!! read more

Yeah, it was great. Me and my friend (she's a painter) went in to buy one thing: Pads (Ultra Thin) but we came out with much much more (8 more things). The story begins when we were greeted by a garden snail, not a snail in a garden (which would also be nice) but a snail made of plastic with a a plastic garden with solar power capabilities woven into its shell. We're not in the market for garden decorations but if you are there is no better place to go that I have ever reviewed. Next... bubbles. We bought some. It's big bubble blower. We couldn't help ourselves, we blew some bubbles in the store. Nobody bothered us about and that ain't hurting their rating. The whole layout of the store is so great because you drift right from pads to toys to snacks and if that ain't that the holy trifecta I don't know what is. Next... the snacks. They had what we needed and not much else. Veggie pate, hummus, salsa, chips, crackers, and water. WARNING Vege Pate is hard to open without scissors. read more

I've had good experiences with very nice staff. It isn't always the fault of employees who perhaps don't have enough support staff to be available to help you during their shift. Find them and they will help. Also during the pandemic perhaps the number of staff legally allowed to work may also hinder the wait time for service. read more

It was always slow, staff talk together and no one gives u info! When you want to buy, everyone are able to sell something, but when they want to refund and give back your money, there is a responsible (!!!!!) for it and he/she is not there! And no one can do it for you and you have to check the store every day!!!! Carry the product every single day cause no one else can do it for you! Having a chronic medical condition I've been with this pharmacy for over 15 years and no issues until last week. I just wanted to drop a prescription at the pharmacy and unfortunately there was 2 people waiting in front of me an I kindly asked them if I could cut in line to drop my prescription and they agreed. I went to the counter dropped of the paper and told her to enter it into the system (prescription contained my name, address, phone number RAMQ number etc) when she had free time and left the whole interaction lasted not more than 5 seconds. An hour later I get a call from the pharmacist saying in a patronizing tone that what I did was impolite and lacked proper manners even though he wasn't involved in the initial exchange at all and said that if I ever did anything again like that I would be asked to leave to look for another pharmacy. Next day I asked my prescription to be transferred to another pharmacy. I know that this specific pharmacy is staffed by a team of pharmacists and that it is unfortunate that one bad apple is giving the entire pharmacy a bad name but I found that experience so appalling it had to be shared. Awful customer service from the pharmacist on duty. Waited for 40 minutes only to find they called the wrong place for my referral when he said I'm not on file, which I only discovered by accident as he was being rude and dismissive (saying the Queen Mary had never heard of me, when I'd told them the Queen Elizabeth!) Then they couldn't find the Queen Elizabeth pharmacy in the system (the chain's fault) so I had to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to find it through back channels on my smartphone for them. By the time I did find it, they turned to to have been closed the entire time. Wasted an hour in total and couldn't refill my prescription, the night before a trip so I'll have to take time off work to do it. The whole time the pharmacist was unpleasant and unapologetic for this shitty experience. I get that there are elements out of their control, but to make me wait 40 minutes while talking to the wrong pharmacy is an error they should have acknowledged as being inconvenient instead of being petulant about it. I have never even left a Yelp review before, but this was so astoundingly & needlessly awful I had to. Do not come here if you want good service. There are plenty of awesome pharmacists at other outlets who are much more deserving of your repeat business. read more

Been coming here for over 5 years and Its one of my fav pharmaprix's ever. They are super nice and respectful. I get my medication from this place at least once a month and they make small talk and are nice. They usually have great deals on Oreos and other random things like toothpaste at the same time. They have water, 40 different types of sodas/juices/milk (even almond milk!). A frozen food section, cereal, soup, cheese, and so much more in the food aisle. The woman who usually takes in your prescriptions seems upset all the time, maybe I just catch her on bad days, but she gets the job done. read more

This Pharmaprix is pretty well stocked with pretty much anything you might need. They have a good selection of cosmetics and typical drugstore items as well as a decent selection of grocery items and magazines. The store is clean and relatively well organized. read more

Very large by downtown standards and has a large variety of household items and food stuff. There's a clinic on the side, so it's the closest pharmacy for that, close to Metro, Buses, students etc. One of these places that keeps downtown humming along. read more

Unprofessional, incompetent, disrespectful! Failed to inform me of drug interactions that left me hypothyroid for over a year. Couldn't synchronize medications in over a year of trying. I have witnessed pharmacy staff riduculing elderly staff, once yelling at an elderly gentleman who was hard of hearing across two counters and laughing at his inability to hear them. I also experienced humiliation at their hands when the lady at the cash smelled medical marjuana on me, then immediately ran to her colleagues, whispered in their ears, then one by one each of them staring and giggling like a bunch of little school girls. Management apparently condones this behavior and is of no help in improving service. read more

Well stocked, but they didn't have the Vicks infused tissues the wife has come to love. My favorite item is the Bowel Buddy biscuits.

Love this little place and getting my what nots, and make up there as well as masks there! Good little shop to get your pharmacy needs then explore the other retail shops and food court! Neat entrance to the mall! read more

The store it self is good. No issues. The pharmacy however is terrible. Wait times are 40min to over an hour easy. Terrible service.
