When on vacation, I love browsing drug stores for deals and we were there right after Christmas so I was hoping for some post-Christmas sales. I went to a lot of locations in Montreal without much success but hit the jackpot at this location in Griffintown. Christmas chocolate was marked down more than at any other location. And they had the best sale on Squishmallows I've ever seen in my life. Huge Squishmallows for $3-5. And they had these huge Pokemon Ball plushies for $15 marked down from $79.99. I so wanted to get them for my nieces, but we were going back to Ottawa by train and these things were huge. Such a shame. I did score some chocolate and salon brand shampoos (in limited edition Christmas scents) for extra cheap. I left a happy camper. The best Pharmaprix ever! Excellent clearance prices. The post office here is fabulous; Janice who usually works the counter is amazing (so friendly and efficient, too!). And the pharmacy is also incredible; Mona there is a doll. She really looks after our family, and her input on drug interactions and help with our OTC purchases is really appreciated. Sometimes the efficiency and friendliness is lacking at the front cashier area. Sometimes I've had a friendly cashier and other times, not. This is the only reason why this store isn't getting 5 stars. Other than this issue, it's a great store and we come here regularly (and will continue to do so).

The post office has superb customer service with virtually no wait. I love that it's under the radar and not in a very busy area so it's never too packed. Pharmaprix is 20% more expensive and Jean Coutu doesn't have the same quality. I also run across the street to grab some produce from the Atwater market after shopping here. Great for multi-taskers who love free downtown parking and good deals! The wait time for prescription pick-up can reach up to 25-30 minutes, but this is mostly at busy times and only due to administrative requirements so it doesn't reflect the staff's work at all. My tip is to set yourself up online so you can order your prescriptions in advance and have a speedy pickup. I've had my prescriptions set up at both this Pharmaprix and the Uniprix further down south on St-Charles. The service is without a doubt better at this location.
