One of the best meals I had in Paris!! We were flying to Rome the next day and couldn't wait for Italian food so my mom and I had a late night dinner. It's a small, no frills place but the service from the minute we walked in the door was so attentive. We got 2 glasses of sparkling wine on the house and it was so tasty ordered another round. I had the gnocchi with bolognese sauce - so delicious. My mom had the spinach lasagna and we took a small pizza to go. Everything was cheap and tasted fantastic. The Italian food at this spot, which is a short walk from Sacre-Coeur, is another great hidden gem in Paris. It is in a great little neighborhood where you are truly immersed in Paris... sometimes you need great Italian - and this place delivers. Their gnocchi, pizza, cheese and meats, and dessert all were delicious - but get the Carbonara!!! It is the best I've had anywhere - and I'm drooling just thinking about it. stroll over to this neighborhood and have a meal... check the times though - we went at 5pm and they didn't open til 7... gave us time to sit at a cafe nearby and enjoy a beer! read more

My husband found this place online and I was craving Italian food on our last night in Paris. We ordered a mozzarella and tomato arugula salad (€9) to share, and ordered pasta specials for our entrées. I ordered the lasagna (€13) and my husband ordered the mushroom truffle and cheese ravioli (€15). We received complimentary glasses of prosecco from the lady who looked to be one of the owners of the restaurant. She spoke virtually no English but we luckily knew enough French to understand and order off the menu. As I walked downstairs to use the restroom, I could smell the heavenly scent of fresh pizza dough being prepared. Service was a bit slow. We had to wait a bit longer than usual to get our menus, then we had to wait for the party a few tables away from us to order first before the owner came to our table to bring us the specials menu on a chalkboard. The wait however, may have been justified as the food was delicious. My husband's ravioli was AMAZING and my lasagna tasted wonderfully home-made. We were given complimentary bread throughout the night. The restaurant is sort of away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets but still conveniently located in the Montmartre area. All in all it was a very good meal and a nice cap to the end of our trip! read more

Really good pasta!! I got penne pesto pasta and it was delicious I had to come again the next day. Great service as well and no cigarette smell which was great for me as it's very common here in Paris. Also, the tiramisu without coffee was delicious, definitely a must! read more

This is like a hidden gem. I found it online because I went to visit Sacré-Coeur and was looking for somewhere to have dinner. I almost walked past it. When I went nobody was there. The owner greeted us and went over the specials and was very attentive. 2 solo travelers came in after and he did the same with them. He even had menus in different languages which is amazing. We both got pizzas and it was delicious. He made sure we were all very well taken care of. At the end he gave us little candies that I kept trying to look for in stores and at the airport the next day. Highly recommend. read more

It's odd that this place has only one review on Yelp... full disclaimer, the other review is by my partner. Fear not though, Trip Advisor has over 180 reviews, mostly great, so you know we're legit. Anyway, this was our last meal in Europe and the wifey was getting mad because she wanted me to do some research to find a place to eat. Fine... so I found this place online with good reviews. She loves Italian so why not Italian in Paris? Bonus, it was located in our favourite neighbourhood, Montmarte. It took a little bit of time to find this restaurant as it's in a non-touristy area of Montmarte. We got lost once or twice, but Paris/Montmarte so, c'est la vie. When we finally arrived, there was only one other party in the restaurant, also tourists. We were welcomed by a lady and a doggy who I guess lives there during business hours. We were given a welcome drink and a small glass of pretzels. They said it was on the house. Score. In addition to the menu, they a portable chalkboard with the daily specials. We had to wait for the boss lady to present the menu to the other party, allow the other party to decipher what the words meant, and then have them decide what to order. Must have been over 10 minutes before we were even able to see the specials. At least we could hear what was going on a little bit so I had an idea of what was on the menu. Plus we spoke more French than the other party so that helped move things along. I thought my wife would order the mushroom truffle and cheese ravioli since those are all her favourite things but she went for the lasagna. Therefore, to be a great husband, I ordered the mushroom truffle and cheese ravioli so she could try some. Although both were really good, I think she was jealous that she didn't order the ravioli. I was glad she passed on it as well since it was tasty and fresh. The pasta in both dishes were prepared fresh in the basement and they were legit Italian made. Half way through our meal the restaurant started to fill up with locals, including various couples on dates so that was a good sign. This place is off the beaten path but completely worth the trip. The other two reviewers were spot on, however my husband and I were so full after sharing the large vegetable/salad platter that we barely made a dent in our delicious pasta dishes! We got the salad without prosciutto and it was an arugula base with olive oil and a balsamic reduction, covered with roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, a fresh tomato, a fist-sized ball of fresh mozzarella, artichoke hearts and little stuffed peppers with tuna inside. I wish we had room for dessert, which also looked amazing, and to try a personal-sized pizza (the gentleman at the table next to us got one and it smelled amazing). We hope to go back on this trip to try more of the menu. I had the ravioli with the mushroom truffle cream sauce, which was superb, and my husband had the carbonara, which came with an egg yolk in the middle. The bread basket was yummy, as was the complimentary small glasses of rosé prosecco. We got there around 7:20pm and got a table easily but it filled up as time went on. I think we were the only non-French people there the entire time. There is only the one server, the lady who seems to run the place and who speaks little English but was very nice, so service can be slow but we enjoyed the rest and needed time to savor all the fresh and flavorful food. Nice clean bathrooms downstairs off the kitchen and mini wrapped caramels included with the check were nice perks to an already wonderful evening. read more

Pizza in Paris? Best I've had since Italy? YES!!! A very quaint little restaurant that my husband found. The service was wonderful. Great wine list and the pizza was out of this world. I had a white pizza with arugula, mushroom and prosciutto. My husband had a tomato based pie with 4 cheeses. Every bite burst with basil and tomato. The cheese was incredible. The crust on the pizzas was light and crisp. The restaurant is in the 18th arondissement. We took the metro and walked a few blocks to it. The woman serving us was very helpful and worked with my broken French. She even threw in some Italian! Don't miss this charming pizzeria. They also serve plenty of pasta if you must. read more
