a pepperoni pizza in a box

I like the concept of this pizza place, which is a bit like the Subway sandwich: you can order the signature pizzas or make your own ones. The déco is also quite modern and luminous. However the quality of the pizza is on par with those of Pizza Pizza or Domino's. The menu looks a bit fancier or healthier though. If you like those pizza chain stores, this one won't be a disappointment. The price is also similar. A 3.5 star is the maximum I can give.

Pizzeria Bros is one of my favorite places to go for a quick bite. They offer signature pizza that is freshly baked in the oven which will be ready in 90 seconds to a few minutes (depending on what toppings you picked). You can also customize your own pizza! I chose the MTL (one of their signature pizza) which has pepperoni, green pepper, mushrooms and onions. La MTL was very good! I really liked the thin crust! I am more of a thick crust person, but I really enjoyed how crispy the thin crust was. Also, it is located in a very convenient location, only a few minutes walk from McGill station and a 5 minutes walk from McGill University. Takeouts and delivery are available. La MTL ($14)

Brand new pizza place! They opened this Monday right above Atti, a Korean restaurant. Pizzeria Bros now has two locations in town, the other one being in Old Montreal. My brother and I went there yesterday for dinner. We're curious about any pizza place because there's a serious lack of good, greasy and dirt cheap pizza downtown, but Pizzeria Bros does not answer that need. Nevertheless, they do serve very good pies! It's like Pizzeria No. 900 or Moleskine, only faster, 2-3 bucks cheaper, with shiny red microwave-like ovens and a build-you-own-pizza counter. The guy at the counter was super amicable and informative. We picked "La BROS", one of their signature pizzas -- and it was ready in a flash! The dough was prepared, the sauce was layed on, cheese was added, into the oven it went and out came a picture perfect pizza. Fresh toppings were then added in front of our eyes: arugula, cherry tomatoes and parmesan shavings. I think they only have one pizza size, which is designed to feed one person: its about 12 inches in diameter, which is a decent meal. The pizza was nice and thin, and althought the dough was not as tasty as that of fancier restaurant, the whole thing was very good. With more than 10$ per meal, it is still a bit steep for the student population, but I'm sure there's plenty of business people downtown that will love this new lunch option. Speaking of options, they have an impressive array of toppings, ranging from anchovies, sundried tomatoes and pancetta --- to Nutella and mascarpone! Pizzeria Bros is only accessible through the building entrance right now, but they are planning on building a street entrance. Exciting changes to come!

If you're looking for personalized pizzas this is a great place for thin crust stone baked. However, the pizza felt too overloaded with toppings and wasn't as crispy as I would have liked. Maybe a little less cheese and well done would have done the trick. Overall, great indoor ambience for a quick lunch or dinner.

In Montreal on business for the third time, I had so much to do that I needed an evening meal where…read moreI could (a) sit alone; (b) have leftovers that would make a good breakfast at 6AM so I could skip stopping on the way to the office; (c) eat something tasty. No. 900 on the edge of old Montreal (I think it is on McGill St) was such a treat! I got to know, in a very little way mostly, and more extensively in one case, all of the staff that run the front of house. Delightful, all of them! Kind of a graduate student crowd, very efficient, friendly, smart, and pleasant to talk to. I don't drink so I didn't try beverages. I was in town for the week so got to try several pizzas. The one that says it is spicy, is SPICY. I was at my limit but the delicious outweighed the spice and I did end up eating it all (in two sittings, not one!). I especially liked the milder italian sausage pizza and so wanted to try more of them.

Wish they would have told us it was going to be last call before we tried to order one more drink. The server told us that the bar closed ten minutes ago, and was very apologetic. So we ordered another pizza to go. We also had our last meal there. It was a little busy and they were short-staffed so they did not come around much and it took a long time to get our food that time. But it was worth it. Pizza is very good. So we're the meatballs.

Montreal now has world class pizza! After many years of coming here and being forced to eat…read morepoutine, smoked meat, great steaks, and Canadian interpretations on various cuisines ... I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.
