We have visited the place three times…read more The first visit was very good. Cosy atmosphere, good food and service. That's why we came back. And tipped generously. The next two visit were disappointments. Food was still good, but the process of getting it was ... painful. Third time was the worst, first they forgot our drinks. Second, they took a long time with the main course, the pizzas, and then brought the wrong ones. And then more waiting. The waitresses could have informed us of what was going on, but we needed to inquire ourselves. At the same time our drinks were getting low but there was no offer to bring more. The poor overall service experience on visits two and three - inconsistency in the service level - made us drop the overall score.

The experience at this restaurant colored our visit to Vipiteno, but not in a good way…read more To be fair, once we ordered, the food was quick and pretty good. It was getting to the "ordered" part that was rough. We were seated and then ignored completely for nearly 30 minutes. No drink orders, just staff standing and talking ignoring us. I understand that European norms of service are not the same as in the US, but this was different. The other piece, not their fault, is that google directions will take you on a wild goose chase to find it. You can get to the restaurant from the marketplace street, but google will take you on a 1/2 mile loop around to the back, where you think that "this can't be right", then you find it.
