We didn't have reservations, so we expected a wait. The restaurant was packed, and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seated. We ordered the truffle garlic bread, spicy rigatoni vodka, squid ink tonnarreli and a pizza with half The Pig and half hot honey prosciutto. Spicy Rigatoni Vodka - 4/5 The dish was delicious, and you could definitely tell the pasta was handmade. It wasn't spicy at all to me, but I also have a pretty high spice tolerance. I do wish it had more meat, and the portion size felt a little small. I was shocked to find out it was nearly 2,000 calories for the amount served. Squid Ink Tonnarreli - 5/5 This was probably my favorite dish of the night. It was rich, savory, and really flavorful. I'd never had squid ink pasta before, although I've had Filipino squid cooked in squid ink many times. The dish came with squid, shrimp, and a spicy tomato-based sauce. We asked for it mild, but I honestly think it would've been even better spicy. The portion size was good too. Pizza - 3/5 Since they make handmade pasta, I assumed the pizza dough would be amazing, but it was just average. Parts of the crust were a little burnt. The Pig (their all-meat pizza) was okay but slightly too salty for me. The hot honey prosciutto side was better, although they were pretty light on the toppings. I probably wouldn't order pizza here again. Truffle Garlic Bread - 4/5 Really good, but overpriced at $18.50 for 9 small square pieces. The bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and very buttery. Customer Service - 5/5 Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu really well. I appreciated that she mentioned the spice levels could be adjusted on certain dishes. She also refilled my iced tea without me having to ask and even brought me a to-go cup for it. Overall, we had a good experience. The food was solid, and the service was great. However, the portions felt a bit small for the price, especially compared to similar restaurants, and I was surprised they didn't offer complimentary bread. I'm glad I tried it, but I'm not sure if I'd go back regularly.

It also comes with two different sauces that are both incredibly flavorful and compliment the calamari perfectly. 10/10 Papardelle Vodka -This is truly the best pasta in all of the land! It's rare to find a dish where the sauce, the pasta, and the protein are all this high quality. Everything is literally perfect. 10/10 Complimentary Bread -I love that this restaurant serves complimentary bread! It's so freaking good and the quality is amazing. It comes with an oil and vinegar dip that pairs perfectly. Honestly, it's hard to stop eating it. Don't fill up too much before the main course! Cost - Calamari $17.00, Pappardelle Vodka $22.00 (Before taxes and tip).

The most disappointing and inedible dish of all was the trenette with pesto. While the pasta tasted home made the pesto was the too-often-seen-in-American-restaurants pesto cream soup and pretty flavorless (we all agreed that it wasn't even salted properly). My friend who had the ravioli bolognese was satisfied and reported that the ravioli were homemade. The eggplant parmigiano was ok in that the eggplant was properly cooked but not particularly tasty. It came with a side of overcooked rehydrated penne that was like mush. The service was not horrible. Our server was polite but unwilling to split two entrees. She did bring us a couple of little plates. Given that one of the entrees was the pesto, there ended up being no need because that dish was so awful that we each tried one bite and wanted nothing to do with it. This is when a suburb server would notice that it hadn't hardly been touched and apologize and comp it. No such offer or apology. I would never go back!

I like mine thin crust and it was perfect - crispy and chewy and even some brown yummy hot air bubbles from the oven. Generous toppings and a nice tart tomato sauce - just the way a pizza sauce should be. Customer service - Friendly, fast and so welcoming. The prices are really a great deal for the quality of food you get. Lovability - I am always heartened when I see a family run business that has the entire family involved. Two kids were doing their homework outside at the table and chairs by the entrance. One was inside playing video games, lost in his own world. The moment I stepped into the door, the eldest teenager son went straight from the table outside and hopped right behind the cashier. He was cheery and greeted me so professionally. I made my order and the dad immediately went to the counter and started twirling the dough to make the crust. The mom peeked out from the kitchen and smiled at me and then disappeared to get the toppings ready. They were a well-tuned team! As someone who also grew up in a family restaurant, I can't emphasize enough how much it means to watch your parents work hard and to have to participate in helping them out. Builds deep appreciation how they have to make a living to take care of the family. Also it builds a solid work ethic and much-needed interpersonal skills in today's world. These folks are doing it right and I can't emphasize enough how important it is to support good family businesses like this one.

Their garlic bread and mozzarella sticks were phenomenal as well! The staff were friendly and attentive, and we were wanting for nothing. We went to have dinner at Ricci's Italian in Bellflower a little while ago…read more Nice house salad (9/10) with wonderful italian dressing (9/5/10) and vegetable minestrone soup with small pasta (8.5/10), which adults and kids enjoyed. Our entrees included Chicken parmigiana (8/10), veal parmigiana (7/10) , and bacon carbonara with shrimp (8/10), quite rich and creamy, but not goopy. All quite good. Nice that they have Peroni on tap, tasted fairly fresh (8/10). Veal cutlet portion felt a little undersized but chicken was hearty, and red sauce (both marinara and meat sauce) are deep red, slightly thick and pasty...not a light sauce. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, except for the end (when we suffered a accidental water spill and had to mop it uo ourselves). Garlic bread (6/10) was pale and had no taste of garlic: just butter, salt and pepper. At least it tasted fresh and warm. We had spumoni (9/10) and tiramisu (6/10) for dessert. Enjoyed the spumoni but I would skip tiramisu when coming back: beautifully presented but all the art was on the plate, instead of in the flavor of the tiramisu. Ricci's has been around since 1944. But from the outside and inside, you wouldn't guess that. The building seems pretty modern, as well as the interior, a somewhat classic upscale vibe. I really want to like this place (I have a fondness for historic dining) and I look forward to coming back to try the sandwiches and the pizza, both of which look good.

We came here for a family dinner with a group of nine and were stoked we made reservations a couple…read moreof days ahead because the place was absolutely packed by the time we got there. One thing I noticed immediately was how deceptive the space is from the outside. You walk in thinking you're stepping into a small Italian bistro, and then it just keeps unfolding room after room until you realize you're actually in a large, incredibly lively space. Each room we passed through seemed to gain even more energy. There seemed to be birthday dinners, family gatherings, and just large groups of friends celebrating everywhere, and the whole restaurant had a genuinely festive feel without feeling overly loud or chaotic. Service was fantastic. Our waitress felt less like restaurant service and more like a friend helping the whole table have a good night. Everything flowed really naturally. Timing was great. Drinks stayed full. Plates never piled up, and even little moments that could have felt imperfect somehow just added to the warmth of the experience. We ordered family style for the table and honestly every single thing disappeared. The Burrina pizza and Romana pizza were both excellent. The Caesar salad was fresh and balanced. The lasagna was a hit, and we also ordered a white pasta with fennel sausage that nobody could stop eating. We even had family visiting from Ecuador with us, and everyone cleaned their plates and had a great time. We skipped dessert because we had cake waiting at home, but judging by the number of tiramisus passing by our table, we may have made a tactical error there. The only real challenge is parking. Broadway parking is Broadway parking, and locals already know the situation near the beach can get rough quickly. If you live nearby, I'd honestly recommend Ubering or walking if possible. This immediately went onto my shortlist for large group dinners in Long Beach.

While it was never my personal favorite, I continued going because my wife enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our experience on Sunday, May 3, 2026 definitively closed that chapter. We arrived around 5:45 pm, at a time when the restaurant was clearly not busy. A young gentleman at reception greeted us warmly and was about to seat us, but was abruptly interrupted by a woman who directed us--without explanation--to sit along the wall. We waited there for about 10 minutes, despite a clearly prepared table sitting ready just a few feet away. When we were finally seated, it was at that very table next to the reception desk. Throughout the interaction, the woman showed no courtesy--no smile, no "please," no acknowledgment, and no "thank you for waiting." After years of patronage, this level of indifference was disappointing enough to ensure we won't be returning.
