When I saw it I was immediately aroused by the box. Love the logo! It's a "boy thing@, perhaps. The pizza looked great. A bit of crunch and nice rise on the well-baked crust and evenly distributed vegetables. Unfortunately, the looks possibly exceeded the taste. Not bad, mind you, but not exactly mind blowing. A great chew on the crust, which is a bit sweeter than I prefer. The veg tasted good. But the sauce and cheese seemed on rather bland. I stumbled upon Pizzasaurus Rex in the early 2000s when I was living at the CSUN dorms and, unfortunately, forgot about them after moving away for a few years after graduating. Now my family & I live within a few miles distance so when we were looking around for a local pizza shop to support, I rediscovered this wonderful place. The pizza is cooked perfectly. The dough/crust is just the right combination of crunchy & soft. Even after cooking the leftovers in the oven it's just right. The toppings are great and they don't skimp on them either. You're getting your money's worth for sure. Customer service is great. I am always greeted nicely on the phone & in person when I pick up my order. They're very friendly and seem genuinely appreciative of every time we come in. I really like that. There is 1 downside. But it's 100% not their fault and I just want to mention it here as a warning/advisement. That is the parking lot. It's tiny, they cram too many spots in there, and people park horribly in the spots. If you are going to do pickup instead of delivery, I highly recommend parking on the street & just walking over. Beyond that, you will have a great experience with P. Rex. First time customer, I had a Horror night planned for Halloween 2024, (Evil Dead, Hellraiser.. the good stuff). Got the Rex Pizza from Pizzasaurus. It was OUTSTANDING! Firstly the toppings are healthy portions; the onions, mushrooms & peppers are cut thick, no tiny diced slivers of veggies like the big franchises. The sauce was perfect, tangy & slightly sweet, and the meat just complimented everything perfect. Great value for the price as well. My only negative would be the parking lot there is tiny, so plan accordingly. I ordered online, scheduled the pickup for an hour later. Wound up 15 minutes early, the pie was done & ready to pick up. It was perfect. I'll add to this that I live across the street from a certain Hut that sells Pizza, But Id rather drive the 2 miles to get another Pizzasarus Rex! read more

Great pizza for a great price. We got the family meal which consists of 2 large one topping pizza, large salad and wings for $32 which was great considering the prices for take-out these days. Pizzasaurus is my favorite pizza place in the valley. My first experience with this place was an average one because of slow delivery. (The delivery person could not find my house, so my pizza got cold), but I decided to give them a second chance and since then, they have never disappointed. They have been delivering fast while the pizza is still hot. So far, I have tried 3 of their base sauces: ranch, marinara, and pizza sauce. My most favorite is marinara so far. It tastes exactly how it should taste. If you like a more vinegary taste, go with the pizza sauce. The ingredients are fresh and the dough is great. I usually prefer to pick a cheese pizza and add my favorite toppings. I always keep a couple of slices to eat cold in the morning. It tastes great even cold. read more

Yes Koolade and that's very different. I came here on 12/07/22, I noticed a new customer and wanted to pay it forward but the man behind the counter didn't want me to do it just in case the customer wasn't happy with my good deed as she went outside. Charged $25 for old reheated pizza. The cheese was like if you left pizza out in the box for 2 days, and the crust was burnt and rock like from obviously having been heated twice. Cheese was hard plastic and you couldn't taste it because it had lost its flavor from being old. I have never in my thirty odd years of life experienced pizza like this. Been living in the west valley for a while now and finally decided to try Pizzasaurus Rex, a valley pizza institution. Ordered a medium with sausage and mushroom. Pizza is on the doughy side with decent heft. Absolutely no crunch but would good to soak up the booze after a night of drinking. Nothing truly stands out but also nothing really wrong with it.
