First order from this location in awhile, pizza tasted great. I prefer pan crust versus thin & it was great. We ordered delivery, decided no contact due to circumstances. Not sure if the driver knocked, but they definitely didn't ring the doorbell. Also one of the pizzas was smooshed, sticking to the top of the box which was a bummer. We love going to Pizzaman Dan's! The pizza is always so fresh and buttery like. And they have wings!! Also delicious and their ranch is made within so it's fresh with a great taste. Best pizza hands down in Camarillo. The thin crust version beats Ameci, Toppers, and the national chains. The tomato sauce and toppings are delicious, especially the meatballs. The restaurant is very clean and there is a very attractive outside seating area. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a great pizza. We prefer to eat our pizza at the restaurant so that it is as fresh as possible. This is the best place in town to do so. read more

They serve a good reasonably priced consistent solid pizza with other tasty items on their menu like their various subs and salads I have liked also. It's not a high end gourmet pizzeria restaurant by any means if that's what your looking for; its more of a fast take out and delivery pizzeria. If you are looking for a high end pizzeria restaurant I would recommend to go elsewhere, but they do have good dependable delivery service for parties and work or for a low cost family meal when you don't feel like cooking and friendly take out service. read more

First off the pizza is OK, we typically order their thin crust and enjoy it. The texts I get are great - 2 for one twelve piece hot wing deals that you can't beat but again wings are OK. And lastly, I applaud their efforts with the community. But my 2 star experience is based on the service I received last night. Had the service been better I might have given them a 3 or 4. At 5pm I ordered a small pizza for my kids and took advantage of the hot wing special. We received the wings in a timely manner, about 5:15-5:20, but I noticed no pizza. Didn't bother me but my 7 year old who actually wanted to the pizza couldn't eat the wings and at 5:40 I had him old go to the counter to ask how much longer, he was told 5 more minutes. About 6:10pm I got up and our pizza had just been cut and we watched as personnel put it on a pan. It took ONE HOUR. One hour! For a pepperoni pizza and when it came out all I got was a mumbled apology. After my starving children ate one or two slices I went back to ask for a box for the wings and then asked what happened that our order took so long. Apparently there was a woman who ordered $500 worth of food so it backed up all of the orders. Why didn't anyone tell me this? The gentleman dropping off the wings could have told me; I could have had some sort of explanation when I got the pizza but I had to GO BACK. Furthermore when I went back another time to complain in person to the so called managerI HAD TO ASK for some type of compensation - maybe another round of drinks for the kids on the house? (How embarrassing that I even had to ask or tell this manager about customer service) I even asked for another glass of wine for myself in which the so called manager said he "couldn't" because it was "inventoried" (what kind of a manager is that??) Bottom line is you should be straight forward with your customers. I would have happily compensated the wait time for an order of cheese sticks or something else to keep my kids happy. You could have made more money based on your honesty and I would have asked for the pizza to go so that I can come home in a timely manner and not two hours later, disappointed that I didn't have the choice. Pizza Man Dan, thank you for the two free small sodas AFTER I said something and while I applaud your efforts in the community and am happy you had received such a large order, please tell your costumers if there's going to be a wait. If communication is the policy for deliveries it should be a policy for walk ins. And I personally think the "I can't serve wine because of inventory" from a so called manager is a pretty poor excuse for compensation. At that point I could have asked for my money back for the pizza and been justified but all I ask was for a drink so I can relax after whiney kids were waiting for a ridiculously long time. There are other establishments with better pizza, with better communication, better customer service and could happily pour me a beer for my troubles. read more

Best pizza in town except this one time I ordered a pizza and I got pretty much everything I asked for except the pizza sauce was a little on the skimpy side which was disappointing. I stopped by Pizza Man Dan's for a quick weekday lunch. Since I arrived at 12 noon, the lunch crowd hadn't quite started trickling in yet, and I was able to order, enjoy my pizza, and continue on with my day in 30 minutes. There were different options for lunch specials (see picture below), but I wasn't looking for a salad or soda so I went with the personal sized pizza with one topping- sausage- and option for either thin crust or pan crust. The total came to $5.65 with tax. The staff bring your pizza to your table, which is nice, and there is a beverage machine were you can select your drink or get water from. My pizza was good- nothing fancy, but it satisfied my mission of quick, tasty pizza. However, if I were with other people, I would probably go somewhere a little fancier in terms of ambiance. read more

Stopped by here for the first time since it was Me 'N Ed's, or as we called it "Mean Ed's." Not a lot has changed, which is a good thing, as the pies were pretty darn tasty and we were sorry to see them leave. Got the pizzas to go, so I didn't have a lot of time to check everything out, but the staff were super friendly and accommodating and the ingredients were generous. Convenient location, clean and well run. If we aren't craving a hand tossed artisanal pizza from a wood fired oven and made with 00 flour and homemade sauce, here and Topper's is where we go for our Pizza Jones. read more

I have always loved PMDs pizza and I really appreciate the $10 take out special during this crazy and hard time.

My family and I walked into this location to eat on 1-19-2018. A unfriendly female worker was behind the counter and didn't even attempt to greet us/ avoided any interaction. The female staffer then went and sat at a booth with another co-worker. I began to walk out of this restaurant but my wife who has more patience then I was finally greeted by another employee. The male employee was very helpful and shook his head about the prior contact with the other employee. The pizza was average at the most and we will not be returning any time soon. read more

I like their calzones, everything else is meh. The soda from the remix machine tasted how the facility smelled during my last visit. It was odd and not enjoyable, and disappointing because I made a special trip just to get a soda from that specific machine. The facility is somewhat stinky. It might be a cool place for kids and teens, but I prefer a finer establishment for pizza, like a certain place that might rhyme with "poppers". However, my 6 year old son loves this place. He wants to have a birthday party and everything at Pizzaman Dan's. I am sure all the fun lights from the arcade make him feel like he is somewhere really cool. The best part is that my son is indescribably picky, and Pizzaman Dan's pizza is one of the only pizzas he will eat. We come here fairly often and the pizza is very tasty. The dough has great fla or and texture, the sauce is delicious and the cheese is tasty (and other toppings are generous). Also, Pablo at Pizza Man Dan's Pizza is very nice and does a great job for this restaurant. (The chicken wings and everything we have tried here are all delicious also.) I had never eaten at this restaurant but this past Wednesday they were bringing their van to Las Posas Elementary for open house. We arrived about 6 pm and the food started at 530 or so. When we arrived the line for the personal pizzas was 25-30 people deep. I saw they had Pepperoni & cheese pizzas with soft drinks as well for purchase. The pizzas were $5 and the soft drinks $2. The line moved a little then stopped. After 5 ,minutes we found out they were out of pizzas but they ensured us more would be delivered in a few minutes. More pizzas came and the line moved again but they must not have brought but 15-20 (?). People were ordering 3 or 4 so just a handful of people were served. The next go around we had our chance but they had 1 can coke and just a few pizzas left. I asked for 2 pepperoni and PMD employee gave me 2 and a lady in front of me got 1. When we opened the box at our table the pizza was cheese as well as the lady that ordered the one pizza. She felt deceived as she stated he could have told me it was cheese. I returned the 2 I bought and the employee just said sorry about that. Did he not even know what he had left? The PMD employee was back on the phone ordering more pizza. It would have been quicker to order my own pizza as it took an hour to get the 2 wrong pizzas. My question is if you have a truck why wasn't it filled up at the store or was it? PMD's did not accurately project the number of people that would be attending open house. The whole school and their families. Hello? I still have to voice my concern to the school office and ask that they never invite that pizza restaurant back to any events. I have food trucks set up camp for a couple hours at my apt complex and they come prepared and don't have to keep ordering from their home store. I can't rate the PMD pizza because I still have not tried it. I do say by the size of the personal pizza, their are better options; even little caesars if you want $5 pizza. We ordered a medium pizza and two lil muuncheese meals for delivery tonight and we were pretty disappointed. I noticed upon opening the kids meals and serving them, the pizza was lukewarm at best. We also noticed that they came with frisbees instead of pizza cars (which my kids love), it seemed like kind of a lame change. Upon biting into my own lukewarm pizza, the dough was really thick and tough even though I ordered thin crust, and I had to really work to take a bite. I'm bummed because when I order $40 worth of pizza, it shouldnt taste like it's 3 days old. Updated Review: Pizza man Dan's invited me on a promotion. I got a small pepperoni & mushroom. The crust was on point this time! Not sure if they listened and improved it, but delicious pizza! The only thing that I was disappointed was the 30% more toppings they advertise to justify the high price they charge. I had much less toppings than Dominos and Pizza Hut give, maybe because it was discounted? However, the point was to wow me with the promo so I drop full menu price on pizzas! We came here for the Axxess card, not super impressed but I haven't tried the pizza yet. First thing I noticed is there was dirty plates on the tables (maybe the guests just left and they haven't cleaned up), the salad bar looked messy, and the floors were messy, and the guy cooking was touching his headphones & cell phone (GERMS, blehhh). I ordered delivery from Pizza man Dans while I was staying in a hotel near the outlets without a car. Our order arrived on time (took about an hour), was hot,everything was as requested, and the food was tasty. The thin crust pizza is indeed thin and had a nicely crunchy crust. A small pizza and a shared appetizer & drinks was plenty for 2 of us. High marks to the delivery guy. He found our hotel room no problem and brought paper plates,extra napkins and utensils- which I hadn't even thought about! That small detail was a huge help. They have a good lunch special, I believe it's $10 for certain options (personal pizza, calzone, half sub and so on) with salad and a drink. I have tried the pizza and meat calzone. Pizza was good, cooked properly and sauce was good and not too sweet. The meat calzone is very good. Best thing is the garlic cheese bread. Looks like a French bread pizza with no sauce and it is VERY garlicky (which is a plus in my book). read more

VERY INCONSISTENT. We order from Pizzaman Dan's every single week so we have a lot of experience with them. The pizza is often cooked differently--some are cooked "just right" and others are sort of burnt or even sort of underdone. But what lead me to write this review is that the delivery service has suddenly turned very bad. On two occasions recently we've had the delivery driver drive to the wrong street. The driver will call and ask us to come out, but when trying to explain to him that he was on the wrong street, he didn't speak enough English to understand where to go. Once they've figured out where to go, the pizza arrives as if it's been dropped or turned upside down. There is no direct phone line to the store so we aren't able to complain about this particular driver. The first time it happened we just let it go. But when it occurred again (and this time the pizza was in much worse condition) I called the call center to complain and to have them bring a new pizza. I'm hoping this sent a message to the managers of the Camarillo store, but I can't be sure. It's really disappointing and if it continues we'll sadly have to switch to another pizza company. read more

He finally comes over & says, what would you like to order? I say, I don't know where's a menu? He points... and it's a delivery menu. I say, we've never been here before.
