There were even times when my friends and I were short on money, and he'd make sure we still got to eat. That's something I've never forgotten. To this day, it's still my favorite pizza, and in my opinion, it's way better than Toppers. The food is always great, but what really makes this place special is the people and the memories that come with it. Although Freddy has since passed away, his family continues to run the restaurant and has kept the same welcoming atmosphere and quality that made so many people love this place in the first place. The other day I stopped in for the first time in a while. My daughter comes here often with her grandma, but I hadn't been back recently. To my surprise, my 3-year-old ate almost an entire medium pizza by herself! The next morning, she woke up asking for more.
