10/10 would recommend! This place has real people and real food. I ordered some sandwiches for my family and once I got home from picking them up I noticed I had two sandwiches that were made wrong. I called to let them know, without hesitation they remade my sandwiches very quickly and happily. There were three dudes working in there and all of them seemed to have a great personality and good customer service. In this day and age it's so rare and so appreciated . If this situation showed me anything it's that I will support this business more now than ever ! Thank you guys! Also forgot to mention that the sandwiches here are LEGIT. Pizza Chief Oxnard makes sorry pizzas. The pizzas I ordered looked like they had been leftovers that had been sitting out for hours. When I got home from picking them up (10min), I opened the boxes up and one pizza wasnt even what I had ordered! I ordered a pizza chief combo and also a 3 topping. They both looked terrible. Do not order from the Oxnard location ever! Never had anything bad from either of the two Ventura locations. Fresh as always and great pizzas from Ventura, not Oxnard though! For $65 dollars wasted on two pizzas, I will never order from Oxnard and I suggest everyone check the pizzas before you leave. And of course, they closed right before I got home. Called the location in Oxnard back and no answer! Called back the next day, talked with the owner, and she said that she could not reimburse me for the incorrect pizza because she could not look up the transaction. Nothing but sketchy BS!!!! Customer service was also trash! Nothing was done to fix the problem I had encountered and they got my money. Both pizzas went in the trash and i learned that the Oxnard Pizza Chief Vineyard location will never get any more business from me and I will be letting others know of my experience. read more

Awful pizzas! when I called back to speak to the owner she basically said she does whatever the hell she pleases with the menu. I ordered according to the menu and she changed ingredients. If I could give them zero stars I would. This time my family and I had it, we decided to give them a second chance and still they couldn't do it. I didn't get the correct change back and to top it off they gave it to me in quarters. They had no toppings we wanted. The first time we ordered they tried to over charge our card stating they they wouldn't get their money when they had already taken it out. The pizza here is great, but what I really appreciate about this pizza place is that they offer pesto sauce (at an addt'l charge). My favorite pizza is Canadian bacon with jalapenos with pesto sauce and chopped tomatoes on top. I wish they had sundried tomatoes because it pairs really nice with the pesto. It can run a little pricey with the pesto, but oh-so worth it! Tell the owner the Pesto Lady sent ya! That's how she refers to me since I only order pesto. Enjoy! read more

Stopped by for lunch and got the $5.99 special which includes a personal 1 topping pizza, small salad and a 12 oz soda can. Taste good, and was about 15 minutes, not bad. Only reason why I gave 4 star was because, I told the guy I wasn't ready and he remained standing there waiting, which I didn't actually like. There was a perfect amount of meat and veggies on the pizza and it was cooked perfectly. A lot of times, the veg is really raw...this wasn't, it was great! Good pizza,...but my husband went down to the store, bought his pizza for $$10...I ordered for delivery was charged $18, plus they had already added the tip, which they didn't mention, so me not knowing added $2 extra bucks, $20 for the exact same pizza!!!!! Place was only, 0.5 miles from hotel. I found out the price after I called and asked why such a big discrepancy and the guy explained that to me. BUYER BEWARE!!! THE ONLY reason they got any stars is the pizza...The Pizza is great but the staff is rude and seriously needs customer service boot camp!! They'd be better off switching to automated operators...Oh and DO NOT FALL FOR THE COUPON BOOKS or ANY OTHER PROMOTIONAL OFFERS They change the rules to suit their needs so good luck trying to use any coupons they sell you. I bought a $10 coupon book and was treated like crap every time I called. They REFUSE to deliver if you use a coupon or any other promotion. They constantly said they wouldn't take the coupons or that I would have to wait longer if I wanted to use a coupon. I used to order at least once a week from Pizza Chief and they have lost a very valuable customer. Two weeks ago, after ordering a Pizza, and waiting for over 30 minutes, employees at the facility indicated that my pizza was not done, and that they were sorry, but had a large order ahead and that they were backed up. Despite of this, they kept taking phone orders. I was not offered a raincheck, or even an offer to get a free pizza at some other time. All I got was a refund. My husband and I love Pizza Chief in Oxnard. My husband orders the same pizza weekly and it's always made the same, with the same great taste! There prices are very affordable for pizza. We always pick our pizza up in the store so I can not comment on delivery times and such. We love pizza and have tried many in the area and nothing compares to Pizza Chief. read more
