The drinks are premixed and strong, some are better than others. My partner likes the Mai Tais and I absolutely love the Pina Coladas. The prices are right and you can order pizza brought right to your table. Also, the Tiki bar itself was put together by Bamboo Ben who is known for his great Tiki bar designs throughout the world. It's definitely worth checking out. Pizza: I would recommend any of the deep dish, (skip the Margherita because they put zero effort and it's actually awful), but the other pizzas are VERY good! Not going to lie, when I saw the video advertising the opening I was so excited. It looked massive! When we arrived though, it seemed tiny from the outside and I honestly wondered how they were going to fit families into the main seating area. Thankfully we were able to sit at the tiki bar since we got there before 9pm and the kids could join us. That ended up being the best decision. The tiki bar was awesome, much more spacious, cooler temperature wise, and the vibe was so cute. We loved the beach video playing in the background. The bartender was amazing and it was actually his birthday! If management is reading this, his customer service is top notch. He was quick even when it got busy, very attentive, friendly, and funny. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the drinks were just as good. The kids absolutely loved the arcade. It was big with a great variety of games to play. I am giving 4 stars only because the front seating area felt a bit small and it was a little hard to find seating, and the pricing seemed a bit higher compared to other Pizza Man Dans we have visited in Ventura and Oxnard. However while we sat on to eat for my daughter's birthday, a few people came in and ordered or picked up and a couple went through to the connected tiki bar. I thought this place was really cute. It has a small arcade attached to the dining area with a few Fun games for kids. You buy a game card and let the kids run loose. They earn tickets and redeem tickets in another machine for small prizes. The Games end up being about 50 cents a play. Not too bad at all. My 13 and 16 year old had fun. The pizza is delicious as always and now you can use pizza man dans loyalty rewards and coupons! The ranch is only available for purchase which kind of stinks. But it's such a good ranch! Bar tender was not helpful with the ordering process. He was talking to a girl sitting at the bar. He didn't acknowledge my wife and I when we entered the Tiki bar. He was so involved with the conversation. He did not even look interested in serving us. So I approached the bar and asked for information to order. The Tiki Bar / 999 Pizza (Pizza Man Dans) is a great combination. You get fun cocktails paired with pizza and finger foods. It's very casual and just a good vibe. No loud music blasting so you can hold a conversation with your friends or have an intimate date night as it's dimly lit and a bit flirty inside. The service was 10/10. Shoutout to Martin and Snow for taking such great care of us. These guys rock! And I appreciate that they can take some playful banter... Cocktails are Tiki Classics : I opted for their Blue Hawaii and then their Hurricane, Fun and fruity drinks, always good to me. For food I had a personal pan pizza but most of you know by now pizza isn't one of my go to foods, but when in Rome aka downtown Cam I will indulge. We did split the appetizer sampler which was 100% the way to go. YUM * Chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, & Mac and cheese bites - you can't go wrong trying a little bit of everything and they've got the good-good Ranch here (iykyk). They offer very good pizza, sandwiches, salads, calzones, and appetizers at very good prices. There is also a games arcade and tiki bar located on the premises. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. As to the food, it's very similar to the food at Pizzaman Dan's, which has the same owners. Although their pizza is not my favorite I really like several of their speciality pizzas, especially the Fiesta and Garbage Pie pizzas. The main differences between them and Pizzaman Dan's are the games arcade and the tiki bar. The tiki bar is small but very cute that offers many tiki-bar style drinks. I had the Planter's Punch, which was very good. Please note they're focused on tiki-style drinks and are not a true full bar. Also please note that after 9:00 PM the tiki bar is restricted to adults 21 and older. First time coming here. Attended on a sunday around 3:30pm... it was pretty empty inside. Nice staff and offered suggestions and very thorough with their menu. We went inside their tiki bar which is kid friendly before 8 or 9pm i think. Their prices are affordable, food sizes are huge, & drinks were good. I am guessing it depends what you get. We got Jalapeño peppers which were decent, Buffalo wings, great amount of buffalo sauce applied and crispy on the outside, their Individual Slice pizza is basically a size of 2 costco slice pizzas. One slice is more than enough and affordable. Potatoe wedges by far my favorite, soft on the inside and crispy outside. Also ordered regular fries which taste similiar to mcdonalds, and a pina colada which was delicious and one was enough for me. Arcade area is small but plenty of options. Restaurant is clean and plenty of area for either a quiet subtle seating or loud ambiance inside the tiki bar. One thing wish the tiki bar wasn't too cold and if there were more seating it would be amazing due to many people coming in and there was not enough seating at some point. This is such a unique and fun new concept for Camarillo. Props to PizzaMan Dan for bringing it to Old Town. My family went last Sunday for dinner and it was a fun overall experience. Food: Quality and quantity are just as you expect from the regular PizzaMan Dan restaurants. The pizza is fresh and hot, the appetizer was average, but passed the kid test. The drink tower looked promising with many flavor options, but the syrups were out of service for many of them that evening. The salad bar was the one area that could definitely be improved because it was so small. Service: The process is simple: enter, order, and sit down. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a can of Sprite since the Sprite in the soda machine was not working. The Tiki Bar has a nice bartender and it seemed family friendly. Ambiance: So unique it feels like you are not in Camarillo anymore. I would love to spend more time in the Tiki Bar, it felt a little like the Trader Sam's bar at Disneyland Hotel. The arcade is fun and machines were in working condition and clean. The restaurant has plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups. The concept here is nice. Food is reasonably priced. Problem is they took a decent size space and divided into three parts. Restaurant, arcade, and a bar. Each space is small and limited. I'm not a fan of pizza man Dan's food, but I thought I'd give it another shot, plus I wanted to take my kid to the arcade. The pizza to me tastes no different than a frozen pizza I buy at a grocery store. Just not impressed. The arcade is small and overpriced. $2 per game for everything. We all know some of these things are over in 30 secs. I spent about $20 at the arcade in 10mins. Hardly fun. The bar is decorated as a tiki bar and is small. Great drink prices for some tiki style cocktails. I didn't try any so I can't comment on the quality or flavor. Service was fine, no issues there. People were friendly and efficient. I have been anxious for something new to grab this location on Ventura Blvd in Old town Camarillo! Had to try the new 999!! They dressed up the old Bandits Bar & Grill with snazzy Neon Lights. Advertising Pizza , Games & a Tiki Bar!! Aesthetically They nailed it!! The dining area is separate from the game room is super smart. The tiki bar in a separate room as well feels like you're in a tropical hangout. I didn't stay for a cocktail I ordered a Large pizza & sampler platter to go. The pizza is just eh. Actually one slice was enough for me. They only offer thin crust and it's pretty tough and was hard with a very crispy crust. When I went to pay I asked for cheese & peppers. To my surprise they charged. .25 cents each. I don't think I've ever been charged for a condiment at any pizza place. Just my luck they were unable to find the button to charge me for it, so it was on the house. lol I laughed out loud when I saw my $10 sampler appetizer. It did not present well crammed in a bowl with no sauce for my mozzarella sticks or ranch for my chicken strip. That being said. At 5 pm the Tiki bar was pretty packed . Hopefully they don't lose focus on the Pizza part of "999 Pizza" as I am a frequent customer of Pizza man Dan. Knowing this is owned by the same company I was surprised by the quality of my meal. We ordered some food on Tuesday to be delivered after two failed orders in the past few weeks. Two for two on Tuesday is a great deal at Pizza Man Dans but they closed the Camarillo location so we had to use $9.99 pizza instead. Thankfully they still honor the Tuesday coupons but the food was not the same. Our Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were lacking in the meat department. Barely any meat and it was smaller. Lupe Ramirez who took my order was as wonderful as usual. I told her that we were disappointed in the food we ordered. She was sympathetic which I appreciated. We didn't order from there for quite a while and then we figured maybe it was a learning curve for them so we ordered again. This time we tried the calzone and it was delicious! The pizza I had at B1G1 free via Uber Eats I would have accepted almost anything edible but this is a quality typical pizzeria type place pizza very similar to Rustys or Amecis. I'm not going to say which is better but very onpar. These reviews make it sound like Golden corral meets little caesars yikes. I also dug the vibe there. I'm too old to be diving into arcades but it reminded me of a newschool Rustys pizza parlor or maybe some D&B. Do not order the build your own gluten free pizza, if you have any kind of gluten sensitivity. There is enough cross contamination with their food that you will not feel well after eating it. Well, simply stated, the photos on their web site do not match what the robot brings to your table. My Italian hero was toilet paper thin. The Calzone was equally as thin. The food was good, but disappointing. We blew a good ten bucks in the game room with our kid, who did in fact enjoy his pizza. Wow! This place is great. A reasonably priced pizza parlor, arcade, and tiki bar all in one! The building is divided into 3 separate parts (the pizza parlor, the arcade, and the bar). We headed straight for the tiki bar. The decor was top-notch and looked like a true tiki bar. The whole vibe was very relaxing. They have a special drink menu of tropical cocktails for $9.99 along with a full bar and a few beers on draft. My boyfriend and I each ordered 2 cocktails (Blue Hawaiian and Hurricane for me and Scorpion and Jungle Bird for him). We really enjoyed all of them and had no complaints. The bartenders were friendly and attentive with our drinks without hovering. We also ordered a $9.99 cheese pizza directly from our table, which arrived quickly and was perfectly good for 10 bucks. The bar started to pick up the longer we were there, but the service never changed. The only thing I would be aware of is that kids are allowed in the tiki bar until nightime. A group of kids ended up coming in and kept running back and forth to the arcade. It was a little disruptive and kind of killed the tranquil, aloha vibe for a bit. The drinks were actually pretty good. We tried the Saturn which was my favorite, it's gin based not too sweet and you could taste the passion fruit, the Mai Tai-not bad, and the Pink drink. This one was just ok for me but I'm not a big fan of coconut flavoring but my friend really liked it. For food we tried the wings-well done, steak nachos, jalapeño poppers and antipasto. The wings and nachos were better than expected. Poppers were good too and antipasto was lacking but we didn't expect much. We did not try the pizza.
