The tiki bar: The bartenders Kaili and Autumn are friendly and engaging so find out when they are working and go! Try to release expectations based on other tiki bars for the drinks. The drinks are premixed and strong, some are better than others. My partner likes the Mai Tais and I absolutely love the Pina Coladas. The prices are right and you can order pizza brought right to your table. Also, the Tiki bar itself was put together by Bamboo Ben who is known for his great Tiki bar designs throughout the world. It's definitely worth checking out. Pizza: I would recommend any of the deep dish, (skip the Margherita because they put zero effort and it's actually awful), but the other pizzas are VERY good! Lots of toppings, thick and served hot. My partner and I enjoy going there when we don't want to spend an arm and a leg yet we want to escape the grind of every day living. read more

Food was good. Hot wings, poppers, kids cheese and Hawaiian BBq. Arcade is small but the little one loved it.

Well the pizza was good, except when you order on-line theres a place to put NOTES. But apparently they dont care to read them. I specifically put to only put Jalepenos on half the pizza, they did not read the notes & there wwre too many red onions. One Saturday I ate there and a grumpy girl brought my order, but the next Saturday when I picked up there was a cool robot to drop off at the table, bummer. read more

The hostess was very helpful with ordering and the experience. I ate at the tiki bar where they delivered the pizza to the table, my personal size pizza was well done the sauce was actually good. read more

I ordered The Garbage Pie via Door Dash. Even though the slices were not super hot off the oven, the taste blew me away. I'm from the mid-Atlantic region and grew up with top notch pizzas and am picky. There are some good ones in SoCal, but 999 Pizza makes something that reminds me of the best of what I had on the other side of the country. Crust, sauce, and toppings were all perfect. I plan to visit and dine in soon. SUGGESTION: If you can offer uncured meat toppings as an option, I can order 2-3x more frequently guilt-free. read more

Not going to lie, when I saw the video advertising the opening I was so excited. It looked massive! When we arrived though, it seemed tiny from the outside and I honestly wondered how they were going to fit families into the main seating area. Thankfully we were able to sit at the tiki bar since we got there before 9pm and the kids could join us. That ended up being the best decision. The tiki bar was awesome, much more spacious, cooler temperature wise, and the vibe was so cute. We loved the beach video playing in the background. The bartender was amazing and it was actually his birthday! If management is reading this, his customer service is top notch. He was quick even when it got busy, very attentive, friendly, and funny. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the drinks were just as good. The kids absolutely loved the arcade. It was big with a great variety of games to play. I am giving 4 stars only because the front seating area felt a bit small and it was a little hard to find seating, and the pricing seemed a bit higher compared to other Pizza Man Dans we have visited in Ventura and Oxnard. Nothing major, just something we noticed. Overall we loved it and would definitely come back. Great vibe, great service, and happy kids! read more

This place was 100% empty on a Wednesday night. However while we sat on to eat for my daughter's birthday, a few people came in and ordered or picked up and a couple went through to the connected tiki bar. I thought this place was really cute. It has a small arcade attached to the dining area with a few Fun games for kids. You buy a game card and let the kids run loose. They earn tickets and redeem tickets in another machine for small prizes. The Games end up being about 50 cents a play. Not too bad at all. My 13 and 16 year old had fun. The pizza is delicious as always and now you can use pizza man dans loyalty rewards and coupons! The ranch is only available for purchase which kind of stinks. But it's such a good ranch! They have a pizza robot which delivers food to your table. It was pretty cool. It even sang happy birthday to my kid. The ceiling has creepy dolls in it everywhere you look and there's pizza theme graffiti on the walls. And the bathroom has a fun surprise too lol. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Review is for the Tiki section of 999 pizza: A hidden speakeasy Tiki bar in downtown Camarillo? I think YES! You walk into their dimly lit bar and you are transported to an indoor island oasis. I won't give away too many spoilers but think Neon meets Hawaii. This place was seriously so cool we were blown away and it's unlike anything else we currently have in Camarillo. The Tiki Bar / 999 Pizza (Pizza Man Dans) is a great combination. You get fun cocktails paired with pizza and finger foods. It's very casual and just a good vibe. No loud music blasting so you can hold a conversation with your friends or have an intimate date night as it's dimly lit and a bit flirty inside. The service was 10/10. Shoutout to Martin and Snow for taking such great care of us. These guys rock! And I appreciate that they can take some playful banter... Cocktails are Tiki Classics : I opted for their Blue Hawaii and then their Hurricane, Fun and fruity drinks, always good to me. For food I had a personal pan pizza but most of you know by now pizza isn't one of my go to foods, but when in Rome aka downtown Cam I will indulge. We did split the appetizer sampler which was 100% the way to go. YUM * Chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, & Mac and cheese bites - you can't go wrong trying a little bit of everything and they've got the good-good Ranch here (iykyk). Definitely a fun and unique spot to hit up in Camarillo and grateful that they are open late. Camarillo needed this and we'd definitely be back. read more

The pizza was ok not bad but was expecting it to be better. Got a salad at the salad bar. It was very clean but lacking many toppings. Also if you like ranch with your pizza they charge you for a side of ranch. The pizza robot was cool but it kept getting stuck because it is kind of small inside and with people walking around it would stop when it sensed someone in the way. Also it was dirty. I thought it needed a good wipe down for sure. The staff here were incredible! They were so kind to my children and I. The arcade was fun for my kids but veryyyy pricey. Overall I would go back but maybe just to check out the tiki bar drinks are all $9.99 so that's a pretty good deal. read more

999 Pizza is a cute and fun combination pizza restaurant and tiki bar located in Old Town Camarillo near Cafe Ficelle. They offer very good pizza, sandwiches, salads, calzones, and appetizers at very good prices. There is also a games arcade and tiki bar located on the premises. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. As to the food, it's very similar to the food at Pizzaman Dan's, which has the same owners. Although their pizza is not my favorite I really like several of their speciality pizzas, especially the Fiesta and Garbage Pie pizzas. The main differences between them and Pizzaman Dan's are the games arcade and the tiki bar. The tiki bar is small but very cute that offers many tiki-bar style drinks. I had the Planter's Punch, which was very good. Please note they're focused on tiki-style drinks and are not a true full bar. Also please note that after 9:00 PM the tiki bar is restricted to adults 21 and older. So, if you're looking to heat good food and drinks at good prices and a fun time in Old Town I highly recommend 999 Pizza. read more

First time coming here. Attended on a sunday around 3:30pm... it was pretty empty inside. Nice staff and offered suggestions and very thorough with their menu. We went inside their tiki bar which is kid friendly before 8 or 9pm i think. Their prices are affordable, food sizes are huge, & drinks were good. I am guessing it depends what you get. We got Jalapeño peppers which were decent, Buffalo wings, great amount of buffalo sauce applied and crispy on the outside, their Individual Slice pizza is basically a size of 2 costco slice pizzas. One slice is more than enough and affordable. Potatoe wedges by far my favorite, soft on the inside and crispy outside. Also ordered regular fries which taste similiar to mcdonalds, and a pina colada which was delicious and one was enough for me. Arcade area is small but plenty of options. Restaurant is clean and plenty of area for either a quiet subtle seating or loud ambiance inside the tiki bar. One thing wish the tiki bar wasn't too cold and if there were more seating it would be amazing due to many people coming in and there was not enough seating at some point. Overall 999 is basically pizza man dans named differently same food quality and taste. read more

This is such a unique and fun new concept for Camarillo. Props to PizzaMan Dan for bringing it to Old Town. My family went last Sunday for dinner and it was a fun overall experience. Food: Quality and quantity are just as you expect from the regular PizzaMan Dan restaurants. The pizza is fresh and hot, the appetizer was average, but passed the kid test. The drink tower looked promising with many flavor options, but the syrups were out of service for many of them that evening. The salad bar was the one area that could definitely be improved because it was so small. Service: The process is simple: enter, order, and sit down. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a can of Sprite since the Sprite in the soda machine was not working. The Tiki Bar has a nice bartender and it seemed family friendly. Ambiance: So unique it feels like you are not in Camarillo anymore. I would love to spend more time in the Tiki Bar, it felt a little like the Trader Sam's bar at Disneyland Hotel. The arcade is fun and machines were in working condition and clean. The restaurant has plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups. In summary, this is a nice fun spot if you want to enjoy as a group without the effort of having to make reservations. The pizzas are delicious and restaurant is clean. Definitely will return. read more

Came here after an exciting day painting with a group of people and really enjoyed myself. I like the setup, it's a restaurant in the front, arcade in the middle and bar in the back. A bar that feels like you have been transported into a whole new restaurant! The service was pleasant! Very friendly and conversational people! The drinks and food were great as well! Will definitely be back as the service was swift and accurate! read more

Fun new add to Old Town Camarillo from Pizza Man Dan. Think 2025 Chuck E Cheese with a better and fun bar, and less low grade food. The arcade is sandwiched between the sit down pizza joint spot and the behind the door tiki bar. There was a rumor that a bar might show up on the roof (Hoping that's true.) Sandwiches for $10 and cocktails for $10. In tony Ventura County, this is a budget friendly welcomed spot. Put on your best Hawaiian and come on down! You will feel the a-looow- ha! read more

Bar tender was not helpful with the ordering process. He was talking to a girl sitting at the bar. He didn't acknowledge my wife and I when we entered the Tiki bar. He was so involved with the conversation. He did not even look interested in serving us. So I approached the bar and asked for information to order. The bar tender, give him 1 star, just for pouring a premixed Mai Tai, with a dribble of spiced rum. That was a waste of 10.71 and a tip. The guy was just involved with his conversation, get a new bar tender. The hostess was very nice and polite, give her 5 stars. read more

This place looks dope. The arcade is small but looks cool. I ordered and sat inside the tiki bar. The tiki bar is the best part of this place! The look of the bar is really cool and Transports you into a cool vibe. 9/10 Service was a 10/10. Ordering was easy. When I went to the bar the bar tender came up to our table and introduced herself. She was very a sweet. Loved that she was attentive! The food is mid if I'm honest. For the price and what it is. It's meh. I got mozzarella sticks, those were yummy. A small pepperoni pizza, was good, pretty greasy but not horrible, very basic taste, And a bbq chicken pizza. It was meh. Not much presentation, the onion was diced into squares and not Julian and the worst part was the cilantro on the pizza was put into the oven burning the leaf. Which definitely changes the flavor profile. It didn't taste horrible but for $25 and for it not to be good was a bit of a let down. Also why am I being charged for ranch , taste like ur basic salad ranch, not house made. The best part here are the appetizers, not a big fan of the actual food 6/10 The reason I give this place a 4/5 even tho I didn't like what I ordered was because the place is still a cool place. It's worth going with kids or if you and a couple friends wanna drink and hangout. The best move would be to buy a bunch of appetizers and drinks with some friends on a Friday night. read more

This review rating is in hopes they are still trying to figure out the drinks. The pina colada was beyond sweet. Yes it's a sweet drink but this was a sugar bomb. The mai tai was undrinkable. Maybe try and invest in some better purées. Use some crème de cocoa. Bartenders are friendly and funny. The tiki bar part looks great! The arcade looks fun. I'm sure we will be back to try it again in a month or two. read more

The concept here is nice. Food is reasonably priced. Problem is they took a decent size space and divided into three parts. Restaurant, arcade, and a bar. Each space is small and limited. I'm not a fan of pizza man Dan's food, but I thought I'd give it another shot, plus I wanted to take my kid to the arcade. The pizza to me tastes no different than a frozen pizza I buy at a grocery store. Just not impressed. The arcade is small and overpriced. $2 per game for everything. We all know some of these things are over in 30 secs. I spent about $20 at the arcade in 10mins. Hardly fun. The bar is decorated as a tiki bar and is small. Great drink prices for some tiki style cocktails. I didn't try any so I can't comment on the quality or flavor. Service was fine, no issues there. People were friendly and efficient. I would prefer to go to other places for all three of these spaces. read more

I have been anxious for something new to grab this location on Ventura Blvd in Old town Camarillo! Had to try the new 999!! They dressed up the old Bandits Bar & Grill with snazzy Neon Lights. Advertising Pizza , Games & a Tiki Bar!! Aesthetically They nailed it!! The dining area is separate from the game room is super smart. The tiki bar in a separate room as well feels like you're in a tropical hangout. I didn't stay for a cocktail I ordered a Large pizza & sampler platter to go. The pizza is just eh. Actually one slice was enough for me. They only offer thin crust and it's pretty tough and was hard with a very crispy crust. When I went to pay I asked for cheese & peppers. To my surprise they charged. .25 cents each. I don't think I've ever been charged for a condiment at any pizza place. Just my luck they were unable to find the button to charge me for it, so it was on the house. lol I laughed out loud when I saw my $10 sampler appetizer. It did not present well crammed in a bowl with no sauce for my mozzarella sticks or ranch for my chicken strip. That being said. At 5 pm the Tiki bar was pretty packed . Hopefully they don't lose focus on the Pizza part of "999 Pizza" as I am a frequent customer of Pizza man Dan. Knowing this is owned by the same company I was surprised by the quality of my meal. Next time I'll opt for a $3 slice and a drink at the Tiki bar. Shout out to Jay at the front door. Great energy and enthusiasm. read more

It was the most horrible pizza I had in my whole life! Each small slice of pizza had 2-3 table spoon of sauce so the pizza didn't even cook right-crisp bottom. Uncooked on top. 3 Adults couldn't finish one 14" pizza, 3 slices left. Second one I will bring back and let Dan eat that for me and see what he sells. read more

Salad bar was really disappointing :-/ no protein offered. Some beans would have been nice. Salad bar could have been maintained better- it was low and didn't look very fresh- bland. Pizza slice was HUGE for $3. Not as good as Pizza Man Dan, but my son was fine with it. Video game section is AWESOME!! Thank you- we need more entertainment for kids! Prices per game $1-2. Some games were 10 seconds and others were longer. Would love to see staff cleaning more (it wasn't busy at all and 80% of the tables were dirty, games were slimy and dirty too). Robot servers were great! Location rocks. Interior decor is.... Confusing.... tiki bar in back. Arcade and kitchen in middle. Dining room w booths only in front with graffiti wall decor. Larger couple came in and couldn't fit in booth so they had to leave embarrassed. Felt for them :-( read more

I got a hamburger with fries. The bottom bun was soggy and unfortunately the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. My husband liked his sandwich. The salad bar was very over priced for what you get to choose from. It was also swampy inside, like a swamp cooler instead of an air conditioner. Walked through to the arcade with was pretty cool. Poked our heads inside the bar and it smelled swampy too. Anyways, we tried it. read more

I'm glad these other reviews didn't scare me off! The pizza I had at B1G1 free via Uber Eats I would have accepted almost anything edible but this is a quality typical pizzeria type place pizza very similar to Rustys or Amecis. I'm not going to say which is better but very onpar. These reviews make it sound like Golden corral meets little caesars yikes. I also dug the vibe there. I'm too old to be diving into arcades but it reminded me of a newschool Rustys pizza parlor or maybe some D&B. Toppings will probably also make this unfortunately on par price wise as well but still a lot of options to save some cash without putting up with Mr. Orange box anymore. read more

Food is still amazing, but the waitress that took my order was a bit rude. She messed my order a bit on one of my toppings. Instead of apologizing, she looked reluctant to help, but they still remade my order. read more

We ordered some food on Tuesday to be delivered after two failed orders in the past few weeks. Two for two on Tuesday is a great deal at Pizza Man Dans but they closed the Camarillo location so we had to use $9.99 pizza instead. Thankfully they still honor the Tuesday coupons but the food was not the same. Our Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were lacking in the meat department. Barely any meat and it was smaller. Lupe Ramirez who took my order was as wonderful as usual. I told her that we were disappointed in the food we ordered. She was sympathetic which I appreciated. We didn't order from there for quite a while and then we figured maybe it was a learning curve for them so we ordered again. This time we tried the calzone and it was delicious! The next week my husband really wanted to try the Philly sandwich again and I have to say, they listened to the feedback because it was delicious! Thank you to everyone that works there. You've won us back! Sincerely, Terry S. read more

The service great the atmosphere was fun unfortunately, the ham and pineapple pizza fell flat. This place is horrible, never going back. I was so excited to bring my family here and ours friends with kids. All the tables were dirty, no servers, you have use a Q R code to order. A robot table drops off your food. I was hoping the food would be good, but we got cold pizzas and the antipasto salad was brown. I would not recommend this place. The idea is cool arcade and nice bar. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat in there with kids and my 55 yr friend his forgot his ID so we didn't get a drink. read more

Well, simply stated, the photos on their web site do not match what the robot brings to your table. My Italian hero was toilet paper thin. The Calzone was equally as thin. The food was good, but disappointing. We blew a good ten bucks in the game room with our kid, who did in fact enjoy his pizza. For a few extra $$ an Italian restaurant a few blocks down creates a beautiful hero that is excellent. I am not employed by either establishment. read more

Wow! This place is great. A reasonably priced pizza parlor, arcade, and tiki bar all in one! The building is divided into 3 separate parts (the pizza parlor, the arcade, and the bar). We headed straight for the tiki bar. The decor was top-notch and looked like a true tiki bar. The whole vibe was very relaxing. They have a special drink menu of tropical cocktails for $9.99 along with a full bar and a few beers on draft. My boyfriend and I each ordered 2 cocktails (Blue Hawaiian and Hurricane for me and Scorpion and Jungle Bird for him). We really enjoyed all of them and had no complaints. The bartenders were friendly and attentive with our drinks without hovering. We also ordered a $9.99 cheese pizza directly from our table, which arrived quickly and was perfectly good for 10 bucks. The bar started to pick up the longer we were there, but the service never changed. The only thing I would be aware of is that kids are allowed in the tiki bar until nightime. A group of kids ended up coming in and kept running back and forth to the arcade. It was a little disruptive and kind of killed the tranquil, aloha vibe for a bit. But other than that, the whole experience was great! Pizza Man Dan did an amazing job, and I hope he opens more of these types of locations.
