Don't get me wrong, I think this place is great. I've come many many times. I try to have the utmost patience and understanding when eating out as I know it isn't easy especially around tourist time. That being said, my experience this evening was not acceptable. I ordered to pick up at 5:45, I was told 25 min (6:10). We arrived at 5:55 and ordered drinks to wait, patiently. We watched many people join us, waiting. Now we saw as it became after 6:10. At 6:30 we lost patience and asked about our order. It has been sitting in a pile of orders, now like warm. Got an "sorry about that" and walked out... Fine. Thinking " this better be as good as I remember... And it wasn't. The food sucked. The most boring flavorless steak and cheese and soggy french fries. Thinking about my experiences elsewhere it could have been worse. It also could have been better. I usually love this place, but I called tonight at 8:34, and was told that they stopped delivering 4 minutes prior, and wouldn't deliver to me! It would have been an order for 30 people - probably $300-400 order, but they wouldn't deliver? I hope to be so successful one day that I can turn down $300-400 for 25 minutes worth of work! I really try to support local businesses. But ... Three times over the past two months I have ordered a BLT sub. Every time I have clearly asked for no Mayo. Three times, including tonight. I have gotten Mayo. I even ask again when I pick it up, and the slip says "dry". Not sure why they can't get this right. I hate Mayo and had to throw this one away too. Very disappointed. read more

Ordered $70.00 worth of food told 30-45 minutes it didn't show up until well over 1 hour and 15 min and got cold food and the order was wrong and we didn't get the whole order the driver came back 15min later with the missing food cold told him to bring it back driver argued with me and then left and to top it all off calls and says that they were not going to make the order right or bring hot correct food this wasn't the first time this happened but thought we would give it a go one more time maybe they got their act together but I guess not read more

This was the worst pizza experience I ever had. I called and was told 45 m8nutes to an hour. Well 3 calls and an hour and a half later my cold soggy food arrived. When i called I was told I could return it and they would make me a new one. Well there's a reason I needed it delivered to begin with so picking up a new one was not an option. They offered no incentive or explanation other than they were busy. When delivery finally arrived the kid told me he was given the wrong address and had to figure it out. Horrible customer service. Pizza Wave is a hidden pizza place in a small strip mall with Stop and Shop in Cotuit on 28. We just found Pizza Wave after driving by the restaurant for years. It's fantastic. The salads are fresh with excellent grilled chicken. All the pizzas are very good and as good or better than any we've eaten on cape considering this area is saturated with pizza places. You aren't going to get greeted, no one will thank you. You will have to fight to even get change back, and how dare you ask for a receipt? You will feel like crap walking out. That is what you get when you go into a place with the average worker might be 16. The food is hit or miss. Big misses. The pizza is good. The onion rings are tasteless. They have a soda fountain, which is rare around here. The Buffalo wings are good. The Italian sub is good. The steak subs are worse than subway. They think a microwave is a grill. I live a mile from this place, so it is convenient. But you'd think it is run by children with how amazingly rude everyone who works there is. Big Daddy's is closer, Papa Gino's is far superior. Used to be a regular here, grew up close by. However rarely go there now. The prices have gone up (I understand that's necessary but in comparison to similar "greasy Greek" style places in the area..) and the quality is extremely inconsistent and usually the crust is pretty stale tasting. Most of the employees I've experienced seem to hate their job & just the other night I called in a small cheese pizza (2 hours to close they were NOT busy) no one picked up the phone, on my third try someone answered and just says "pick up or takeout" no hello... I ask for a small cheese pizza he asked for my name, and said 20 mins. Never asked for my phone number but okay. I go to pickup the pizza 20 mins later and they swear no one ordered a cheese pizza... I even checked my phone records to confirm i called the right pizza place and of course they did. Must have "lost the ticket" Which seems pretty hard since i was the only order they had. Had to wait almost 30 more mins for low quality pizza. Not the best experience. read more

I could not believe how rude the management was at this pizza shop. I've lived on Cape Cod my whole life and gotten takeout from this place often. When they would not honor a gift certificate that was PAID FOR (not even a simple coupon), the manager was antagonistic and downright rude, never offering us ANYTHING to make up for the fact our order was going to be $25 more than we'd planned. If she'd been professional enough to offer a free order of French fries, maybe we wouldn't have walked out of there for the last time. Every time I walk in here, it seems like it's under new ownership. Beyond some of superficial cosmetic changes and rise in prices, not much has changed with the food -- it's still fairly mediocre (at best!). On my latest visit, they refused to accept my $10 Restaurants.com gift certificate. They told me they were no longer participating in the Restaurant.com gift certificate program. Despite this, they should still honor previously issued certificates. Refusing to accept legitimately issued gift certificates, which have been paid for by the customer, is downright fraudulent; they should be reported. I can say pretty confidently, I am not going to dine here any longer. read more

Ordered delivery last night. They messed up the order and forgot items. (Not the first time) when we called to inform them of the problem we were told that it may be best if we don't order anymore. Had to drive there for my missing items only to be treated just as poorly in person. Asked to speak with an owner and was presented an "owner" that was clearly intoxicated and couldn't speak or understand English. Used to order here a lot new management has dropped the ball and lost a long time loyal customer. Will not recommend to anyone. read more

I know nothing about Cape Cod, so I have no idea what other alternatives would be in this area. All i do know is that my friend and I wanted subs and good subs we indeed got. I got a roasted turkey sub and she got a veggie sub. Fast service, good food- no complaints. read more
