My friends and I ordered from here and overall it was mediocre. My order was the broccoli chicken Alfredo with a side salad. The side salad was delicious. Covered with mozzarella cheese. We actually ordered this via Doordash tonight as we had been helping someone move all day and were just tired. I have to say that there food never disappoints. I always have to get the Chef Salad because it's hands down the best in town. My husband gets their hot wings and he said theirs are really good. I have ordered from here at least 10 times using GrubHub. Their driver delivers through the GrubHub app. They make good food. The problem is there usually 20-30 min late with the order every time. I order two strombolis and a sampler platter each time. Being late causes the food to be soggy and cold. Paying around $35 for cold and soggy food is not acceptable. The last time I cancelled the order through GrubHub for the order being late, I received a harassing phone call 5 hours later at 11:00pm at night from a manager of the location. Like I said good is good, but they can't get it to you in time. Photo shows the delivery time was to be 6:05-6:15. Phone shows time of 6:23. Order was placed around 5:15. I got the sub special that includes 2 cheesesteaks, 2 orders of fries, and 2 drinks for $16! You can't beat it! There's some places that charge $6-8 for a sub, another $2-3 for fries, and $1-2 for a drink. Definitely one of the best deals I've seen around the High Point area! The cheesesteaks tastes just like you're eating in Philadelphia! The steak is finely chopped, but still juicy! I don't like lettuce or tomato on my cheesesteak so I stuck with the basics. Mayo, cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions! So GOOD! The fries were good too! It was a quick delivery since I don't live too far from the restaurant. Still crispy and not even close to getting soggy. They season the fries which I appreciate a lot! I also ordered a side of wings. Lemon pepper hot! The wings were the perfect size and the sauce was delicious. They don't overdue it with the lemon pepper seasoning like some other restaurants I've tried. Their house ranch is perfect with the wings. It was in a pool, I mean POOL of grease...the amount of napkins that it took to soak all of that up! The sausages were a major turn off. I've never seen circular sausages before? Nothing will tick you off more than paying for your order online, waiting 45 minutes and then they show up with the wrong order! I don't like pizza much so I am picky. I ordered pepperoni, jalapeños and pineapple. They didn't put on the jalapeños. That changes the whole pizza for me. The chicken wings are good here and the pizza is ok. Got the meat sauce spaghetti. There was barely any sauce or meat. Not even enough to turn the dried out noodles orange. The lasagna was decent. Tiramisu and cheesecake was frozen. So tonight my son has a friend over and they decide they want wings. Great. I call in an order for 10 mild wings, go pick it up, and come home. Five wings a piece right? Wrong! I get home and there's nine wings. Now how do I divide nine wings evenly between two boys? Yup, you guessed it 5 a piece becomes 4 :-( This isn't the problem, mistakes happen. The problem, and the 3 stars, come in when I was repeatedly told by two different people via phone how they miscounted because of how busy they were. It was also the reason they couldn't deliver a correction but I could drive back for my ONE wing. No offer of a drink, single fry, or anything for my inconvenience. Well if you can't keep up with your orders, STOP TAKING FREAKING ORDERS, until you're caught up. (Or at least stop telling people you're too busy) The manager offered extra wings on my next visit. Next visit implies I'm returning and spending more money after not getting all I paid for this time. I think not. As for the wings, I'd give them 3 1/2 stars. Fried crisp like I like them. Beware if you order mild. It's basically melted butter with salt poured over your wings. I ended up having to make them a mild sauce to go with their chicken. Needless to say first and last time here which is unfortunate because we really wanted to try the pizza. Or maybe we'll try when they are less BUSY and each order counts. read more

This place is directly behind the Hooters on Eastchester and if you want wings, take the extra steps behind Hooters to get real wings from Pizza Vino. They are good, saucy and the chicken is never dry. They have different temperatures for the wings - mild, hot and extra hot. To my taste, the "hot" wings have the best flavor and the right amount of heat to make them enjoyable. On the occasions I had ordered the extra hot, I just didn't care for the overall taste. The wings are served with ranch or bleu cheese and celery. I've gotten take-out here for the last ten years and of that time, I may have had one or two bad experiences. They have typical pizza joint food including things like pasta, lasgana, pizza, stromboli, calzones and wings. The nice thing is they deliver way out of High Point so, I typically order delivery when I get it. Do not get this Pizza Vino confused with the one over on S. Main st. They are owned by the same people but, are completely different places. This place has better food. The last time I was in the owners were trying to expand it include a dining area so, I am not sure if they have done that or not yet since I have been getting delivery. Love. This. Place. We order delivery regularly from here. The wings are the best in town. They are consistently huge, their sauces are amazing, and they are a great price. We have tried every single wing flavor, the Stromboli, calzone, and pasta dishes. I have never had an issue with this restaurant until this past Friday. I ordered a small cheese pizza and 12 hot wings for delivery. I received a notification that my order should be at my house by 6:37 p.m. . I had to call the restaurant at 7:07 to let them know it has not been delivered yet. The staff is friendly and super efficient! Took only 20 mins for order to be ready for pickup! The pizzas were huge! Tasted great!! The dough is A+, making for a yummy crust, too! What I loved most was that they don't go overboard on sauce, which can make for a soggy, cooked crust under all of the cheese. The taste was great.
