We have been returning to Pizza Time after a long hiatus because we wanted to try other local joints. 1st return recently we got Grandma Pie...was excellent and also got Chicken Parm...just ok as it was a bit tough! Next visit we brought home regular pie 1/2 sausage and 1/2 mushroom. Looked as though it was a pie that had been cooked and toppings added for our order. We have problem with inconsistant preparation of pizza and dishes. We did get an exceptional Ricotta Calzone, which although tough edges was filled with creamy cheese and delish. Pizza Time has THE BEST pizza and wings in the Mastic/Shirley area! Particularly their Thai chicken, Calamari, and Cheeseburger pies. Absolutely delicious! Their deserts are so good, I have to fight myself not to add on a Cannoli. The delivery folks are especially nice as well as everyone in the place itself. Pizza is good. Service is good. Prices are good too. There sausage pie is great. Tons of chunks of sausage.

Good pizza but no one was wearing a mask. Not one of the 4 employees working in a small area behind the counter was wearing a mask or even had one around their neck. 3 customers inside also with no masks. Yeah I don't like wearing masks either and think they are annoying and have become "politicized".. but I have to wear one where I work. Everyone else has to wear one. Make your political statement outside business hours maybe? In fact the one thing about masks I like is that the people making my food are wearing them.. well not here. read more

Since I moved to the area almost a year ago, I've been searching for the best pizza. This is my favorite so far! Flavor is absolutely on point. I am excited to eat pizza at the actual place because it may have gotten a little soggy while being driven to me. Meatballs on the meatball slice are sliced SUPER thin. So so so good. I don't know if he's the owner or not but an overweight 50ish year old man was rude because he didn't like my preference in which I like my pizza. Very strange person. I asked for my pizza to be well done. Simple. He gave me a undercooked pizza with white cheese. It's pathetic that he doesn't know what well done means. I politely asked to put it back in and he said no. So I told him again and he said it's gonna burn but I told him to do it anyway. They put it back in a few minutes and when they took it out it looked exactly the same as it did before. I asked him to put it back in. He began having an attitude at this point. He started talking rudely about me to another employee intentionally loud so I can hear him. I thought he was joking at first but I realized he was just genuinely being disrespectful. Another employee was polite and asked me how exactly would i like my pizza and he interrupted her and said "he wants to burn it". They took the pizza back out and it looked exactly the same as it did the first 2 times, so at this point I just accepted it. Some people are so miserable with their lives that they are angry with how other people live theirs. If I paid for the food and will eat the food, then why give me a problem about how I want you to cook it? That's just weird behavior. I wanted to be rude back to him but I am not like that anymore so I didn't stoop down to his level. This was the last time I came to this place. I only came here a few times because it's very close to my home. However, there is a MUCH much better pizza shop right up the block called "Fratelli's" and they know how to cook pizza correctly and the owners are extremely polite. I do want to mention the young woman who works at Pizza Time is very kind and appeared to side with me about the situation, because honestly I was right and he was wrong. But this is my opinion and I'm sure other people might feel the opposite so check it out one day and judge for yourself. read more

This place is the best pizza place around. The meals are so delicious and can feed you for three days with the amount of food they give you. I was lucky enough to taste their salad pizza yesterday and it definitely did not disappoint it was so delicious and fresh I highly recommend it. The Sicilian pizza is my go to comfort food. I came to "Pizza Time" by request from a friend that loves the place. I decided to finally give it a shot. When I got there I noticed there was no parking. You just pull up to a side street and park there, not to far from the building. Inside isn't big or commercial like other places, but everyone that I saw in there new the owner and talked like long time friends. That's the best way to earn loyal customers, treat them good. I decided on a Calzone, one because it was huge, second it's full of cheese! The lady working the register was so polite. She told me sit down and she would bring it to me, then she offered me sauce, wow, I love that! She brought my calzone over and started working. I see she does every job because after that she moved on to deliveries. When I ate the Calzone my first thought was "yeah" it's pretty good, the sauce I used was ok. One to ten I would rate my calzone a seven. I would come back mainly because the workers are friendly here and I would like to try different items. Ordered delivery, they delivered early ! We open the box large pizza half pepperoni and half cheese. The slices weren't as big as I thought a large usually looks like but the pizza was pretty good. They make their own sauce every day and use the best quality mozzarella there is (right under the fresh buffalo)! One day, my husband was talking to the owner while he was making the meatballs, so we just had to have them for dinner that night! The best thing about this place is that they are consistent.
