Been around the world and ate a few burgers Pt. 1…read more Late night stop in Belfast had me hungry after a six hour flight had me hungry as hell. So many choices to chose from near the hotel we were staying. I had originally set my mind on fish and chips and was determined to get some until we walked by this place and my counterpart said "yo! lets try this". I am always game for hamburger (bless my arteries). By the way, this place has Hard Shakes!! wish I would have tried a Baileys Milkshake! Decor: 5/5 - place looks chill as can be. a few long tables where strangers can sit side by side enjoying their food and drink. The place has a modern feel to it and is very inviting and comfortable. Service: 5/5 - First time here and they knew it. Explained almost everything not he menu at the counter where you order your food. Even explained a few of the local beers and what we could expect them to taste like. From time of order to food being delivered to our table was pretty fast considering they make everything at time of order. and that there were at lest nine other people in there with us! Give that Grill guy a dang medal. Food: 5/5 - I can't even remember what burger I ordered (after review of my photo, its a cheese and bacon burger) but I can tell you that it had bacon! ( I mean I put bacon on everything ) (Rip arteries again). Cooked to a beautiful slightly pink medium and juicy as hell! I also made the mistake of ordering chips, thinking like ah its going to be like a small portion. I ordered the spicy chili chips. This portion was enough to feed two people so take warning. They were AMAZING! Yes Yes yes (herbal essence reference) lol. In all you definitely won't regret coming here to eat...or maybe you will if you don't live in Belfast because then you will have to live on a memory! I will never forget this place. Took a small menu for my collection!

I have to agree with another review that, based on the hype I read about online, I was pretty…read moreunderwhelmed with this burger. The flavor and the char on the meat is kinda nice, but the meat is cooked to hell and dry as a desert... that's desert, not dessert. The sauce had to do that work, and even with 'extra sauce' requested, it was not enough make up for the dry burger. Staff is friendly, but to my palette, the food was barely acceptable and reminiscent of the pre foil-wrapped burgers you get at a hospital or school cafeteria. There's a time and place for that type of burger, but not at these prices.

I came here for the beer, but I'll rave about the food. Food made at a brewery can be a bit of a…read morerisk, but this was exceptional. There is a good diversity of beers on tap and I was pleased both with the IPAs and Wit beer. The pour good size pints on the IPAs...which is not a given. As an American, I order burgers in the UK & EU with great trepidation. However their burger was warm, tasty and juicy. The fries came in bowls or tins, so came out warm. When I ordered ketchup, they brought out a proper container to meet the moment. Two of my friends ordered the steak and both were cooked as requested (M & MR) and I am told we're both flavorful. My daughter ordered the cauliflower steak said it was juicy and flavorful. Beware ordering the beef cheek as it was out of stock when we tried. How're the pork filet was an outstanding backup for the person who went for the cheek. Would return here unreservedly.

4.5 stars for lunch w/ brew…read more I got the Cauliflower Steak at 12€ and a taster set of 3 brews (the Boom, Punt Purse, and the IPA 2.3%). The Cauliflower Steak was absolutely delicious with some fantastic flavors to it, and thankfully it was NOT greasy (unlike some other places I ordered cauliflower in the UK). I would highly recommend this dish. As for my taster set, the Punt Purse and 2.3% IPA were both fine, but it was "the Boom" that stole the show in my opinion....I should've just gotten a pint of that. The only negative was our server, who didn't seem into his job at all. The attention he gave us was all quite perfunctory....maybe he was just having an off day because he had something serious on his mind that day, but if not, he might consider looking for a position other than a server (since he clearly didn't seem to be into it).
