I ordered a personal Chicago pie and the lady at the register tried to charge me for a large and when I told her I wanted a personal Chicago pie she said they don't have that when it's on the menu and I told her that. She charged me for a personal pie and I thought that was it I waited for almost 15 minutes before getting my pizza and I was given a regular personal pie and told them I wanted a refund because that's not what I ordered the lady at the register tried to argue with me saying she charged me right and had an attitude the whole time as if I didn't know what I was talking about when I read her the item straight from their menu. This is the second time in a row they've messed up the same thing. Maybe take it off the menu if your employees don't know the menu or tell them to learn the menu? read more

PRICEY! Had 2 slices here and spent almost $10. I had a margarita slice and an Alfredo chicken slice. The margarita slice was very good, nice and crispy with a sweet tomato sauce. The Alfredo chicken however was not so much. It was very oily and the crust was thick like a Sicilian slice. I couldn't finish the slice because it was so greasy. Overall, I was pretty impressed and very happy to have found some good pizza in Harlem. Every other place I had tried was gross. I ordered in some food (enough for about 2 days) and decided to try the spaghetti in white clam sauce and a slice of buffalo chicken pizza. After reading all these reviews on the grandma slice, I had one of those delivered as well. Food arrived on time and the delivery man was very very nice. Pasta was still warm but the pizza was a bit cold. Hopefully that can be remedied in the future. The pasta was good but definitely needed more garlic. It was also very heavy on lemon. I liked it but would probably try a different pasta dish next time. The pizzas were both very good. i wouldn't say I loved it as much as the other reviewers but I was also fortunate enough to grow up in an area filled with amazing authentic Italian restaurants and I tend to compare everything with those. Pretty good but not great pizza. HUGE slices which is a big plus. And they get them to you really quickly (less than 5 minutes of waiting). I tried the: BBQ chicken which was pretty good, decent amount of chicken that was nicely seasoned with a sweet BBQ sauce that synergistically worked with the sweetness from the tomato sauce. Buffalo chicken: Not great, not too much sauce, so some bites were underwhelming. Huge slice tho. Chicken alfredo: Really good. Super creamy and rich - every bite was a joy. Ordered a meatball parmigiana sandwich and a Snapple. Pizza Stop only has three flavors (outta the 30 flavors Snapple has to offer) listed on the Seamless app to choose from. If you want a Snapple you're gonna have choose between the three they're offering, so I chose the peach tea flavor Snapple. But I also left a message with instructions for them to NOT give me the peach tea flavor but instead either a grape or fruit punch flavor Snapple. I get my delivery and there's a peach tea flavor Snapple (what I didn't want) in the bag. Being mature, I called Pizza Stop directly to explain how they made a error on my order by giving me something I didn't want/order. They hung the phone up on me not once, but twice DELIBERATELY! I usually order through delivery From pizza stop. This time that I stopped in was the last time I order from them. First the price on the menu needs to match the price at the cashier. The pizza I ordered was 21.50 the cashier charged me more 24.00. The cashier said that the price was different, incorrect, in the cashier. How many people didn't check the difference and continued to pay more how long had that inconsistency been there and is it even fixed currently. Second; when you prepare a pizza if you going to wear gloves Where two Gloves when you're touching the food that you're putting on the pizza, not one glove on a hand that you occasionally use and still using your naked hand that's been touching phones, pens, money etc. and then using that hand to touch food that's going on the pizza. We live right around the corner so I'm a bit biased, but I love Pizza Stop. Their buffalo chicken pizza is our standard order and I've always been extremely happy with it - chicken cut and cooked well which is not always the case at other spots and sauce is well distributed. Can be a bit pricey depending on what you get but for my 2-person household we always have leftovers from a large pie. This place makes an awesome Grandma pizza. There's only one way to make a Grandma pie, and this was done perfectly. Bravo to Pizza Stop for making a classic, authentic G-ma... Perfect taste and texture, crispy crust, and no skimping on the goods. I also had the sausage and peppers Stromboli. It was a filling, tasty, spicy handful of goodness with burnt cheese on the ends to boot. It also came with marinara for dipping. The Caesar salad was great to. Really good dressing. So FINALLY, after a year of searching my new home Harlem for a good pizza shop, I think I may have found a place that does it like they do it back in Brooklyn. I was floored the first few times I ordered pizza up here, even gave up and started ordering Papa John's, but now? I hope this is my new go to place. I live in public housing and I was quite upset when I was told the delivery person would not bring my pizza upstairs (I'd already included the tip in my order). Most of the people in public housing (the projects) are hard-working individuals, and it saddens me that we have to be treated differently. On to the good part..... I was given the wrong pizza by accident. I called Pizza Stop and explained I had the wrong pizza. We ordered from here on grubhub after waiting for an ultimately failed attempt at Harlem Shake. We got fried calamari, BBQ chicken pizza slice and a chicken parm sandwich. The delivery was relatively normal, time wise. The delivery guy was friendly enough and everything was correct with the order. The chicken parm sandwich was the best of the meal with a hearty bread, zesty tomato sauce and well seasoned chicken. The calamari was a bit over fried and the breading was a bit heavy, more like a mozzarella stick than calamari. I am always too afraid to say "well fried" or "lightly fried" to places since if it's too fried its not great and if it's under fried it's too squidy for me. The pizza slice was just average. It wasn't under cooked but for something so saucy like BBQ and then heavy like chicken chunks it needed to be a bit more cooked or a stiffer dough to hold everything up. The flavor was also lacking and the chicken wasn't very hot. Somehow the pizza was though. I was just visiting Harlem so I couldn't order again but if I did live here I would likely just keep browsing different pizza shops. This is fine enough, nothing great to keep me loyal to just them. After walking of what seemed like forever my husband and i managed to find a decent pizza spot. dont get me wrong there are a lot of pizza spots near our home but none that i think are either clean or close to good pizza. i was looking for pizza similar to Familia style. This pizza spot was great it is a bit of a walk but i would continue to come here. staff was very friendly and attentive to our order. we ordered 2 Chicago slices and one regular slice with fresh mozzarella and pepperoni and basil. the chicago style slices i was not too impressed which is why i didnt give a perfect score but the other regular slice was very delicious. i would recommend going for pizzas that are not chicago style. read more

I ordered online so my address is clearly there and I even checked my online profile to make sure my address was correct. I called earlier, they said it was on its way. Called again, "it's on its way." Got a call from them asking again what I ordered and for my address, this is an hour after my order was suppose to be here. They made an excuse about wrong address, no apologies, said "they're a minute away." I finally got my order 1 hour after they said it would be there (2 hours after I ordered it). My pizzas were delivered cold. No attempt to make up for their mistake and content with delivering cold pizzas with no apology. As much as I want to support my local pizza places, with service like this, it's no wonder why people don't order from them anymore.
