I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.

Pooh and I came here for lunch today…read more The restaurant itself is big on two floors (main and lower) the main floor has windows on two walls, one brick wall and one glass looking at the kitchen. Our server was very pleasant. We started off with a half Caesar salad each and then we shared the Dei Compari pizza. Also we ordered a pint of Moretti The salad was the perfect size and just the right amount of dressing. I don't usually have the croutons because they can be chewy but these were very crispy The pizza was delicious! The toppings were great and the crust was soft and chewy in a good way This pizza was supposed to have Italian sausage on it but neither of us tasted it nor saw it. Also we received the salad and then maybe 30 seconds later the pizza. We were sitting at a table that couldn't have more than two people so when the pizza arrived we had to move items around so we could eat both at the same time When we finished our salad the bowls sat there through the whole meal. There were at least three servers here so I thought one of them could have come and removed the bowls to give the table some breathing room The food was great; the service needs to be improved.

I ordered a few times now from PV, each time I ordered something different. My main reason for…read moreordering from here was price, even though they are average when it comes to taste of the food, the cheaper price allowed me to order more often, however, Here's what I experienced... The subs on regular bread, they were good and I'd give them 4/5, the large poutine was on a round tin dish which was only 8 inches and not fully filled with fries yet lots of topping (sauce and cheese) it seemed like they cheapened out on the cheapest ingredient, the fries. I ordered fries on their own were good and more than my poutine, the quality seems like the McCain type fries. The breaded sole dinner was good, came with rice and salad and was not a big piece of fish but the price is slightly less as well so it was okay. My biggest problem is that the food is very inconsistant, some days there are more topping, some less, this makes you wonder every time you order it's enough and makes the cheaper price not worth it at times. The menu Is different when it comes to the Greek souvlaki pita which says you get 2 pitas which was a good deal and a nice add on to my meals, but again depending who, I get called and told it's a mistake and should be the price for one not two making me question my order and puts me in a difficult situation especially when ordering with guests. I noticed if ordering on-line they don't give that deal anymore but attach the menu to your delivery order which basically tells you you got ripped off....if that's the price for one, they need to step up the size and quality of the pita, not worth it and this pretty much stopped me from ordering from this place ever since. If you can't rely on how 50% of the food you ordered that day, what's the point? I hope they figure out their issue soon, the driver keeps telling me how inconsistent their business was, perhaps they will come to find out how much they are actually controlling this. TTFN.
