I was very happy to find today that they now have two NA beers, including the excellent NA Boulevard Spacecamper. They also have excellent cauliflower crust and nondairy cheese. The restaurant is easy accessible but parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is located downtown where parking is a premium. There is a parking garage located a few blocks away. The service was exceptional. We had a glitch with our beverage orders that was quickly and professionally handled by staff. They were professional and attentive. There are many good things on the menu and much from high to choose. All the pizzas are gourmet and simply divine. The prices were right in line with what you would expect from gourmet pizza. I think my order was around $35 but that included beverage and salad and pizza. The only negative have about this place is the sign at the hostess station. It says "No ICE". Honestly I don't care one way or another about their politics. I do think that entertainment and restaurants are places where people go to escape from politics. I was slightly taken aback by their sign and I almost suggested another restaurant. Glad I stayed, though.

A lot of places have a white sauce and then it's just Alfredo, and tastes like pasta not pizza.. but this Spin white sauce actually has its own flavor and it was phenomenal! So this felt like a really nice inclusive option that made me feel excited to get pizza here now! Definitely one of those spots where I will come back just to order the same thing again? I ordered a New York style Meat Lovers pizza and my granddaughter ordered a cheese pizza New York style. We ordered to go, but didn't have to wait long for the pizzas to be ready. The young guy who took our order was very patient and nice. The restaurant had a few customers. We were there about 3:45 PM on a weekday. One complaint I have is that the pizzas are too expensive. You pay $20 EACH for a pizza a little larger than a personal sized pizza. The second complaint I have has to do with standard operating procedures, employee training and hygiene practices. Wow my granddaughter and Grandson and I were waiting for our pizza. A young girl (employee I guess, she was not wearing a uniform) came in rushing as if she was late. Wearing street clothes (shorts and sweat shirt). She immediately began a conversation with a noted employee wearing a uniform who was wrapping flatware and started helping her with her bare unwashed hands while touching the tops of the forks that goes into the customers mouth. This is not only DISGUSTING, but it breaks EVERY Food Safety Policy! If I went from that experience alone, you would get a one star because this will keep me away.

I don't feel like I shouldn't have been laughed at about asking a question so I went somewhere else and I will not ever be going back ever again, and this was my first time there and now my last. I hope they can improve at one point, but they had lost a first time customer if anything they need to recommend plant base or vegan products ,asked if they had plant-based foods so this is the reason why. I recently took my teenage son for lunch, and honestly, it was like stepping back into the 90's in the best way- the same friendly, laid-back service, the best quality product and amazing prices, and a clean dining area. My son ordered a large Pocket Za, which he finished. It took about 10 minutes, but he was so pleased! It came right out of the oven to our table. I ordered the daily special- pizza slice (I got veggie), side salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a drink. It came out almost immediately. Now, if you haven't been before, their crust runs in the bread-y type, less chewy but more bread-like, and homemade sauces- the red wine marinara is homemade and so, so good. A feature of theirs is the quantity and variety of toppings, and wow- so many choices. My son was very pleased with the quantity of toppings, and asked to come back soon. Well done, Rudy's! We'll be back.

I've been having Rudy's Pizza since they were located in the Crossing more than 30 years ago, and I've been hooked on their sauce ever since. Whether you're just stopping in for a slice or you want a pie to go, Rudy's has lots of choices and plenty of great deals. Pro tip: some of the slices that may have been there a little longer than others go down to the dollar/value slice rack, or the lowest rack in the rotating warmer. Same great pizza for a friendly price! Rudy's has menu specials, calzones, or make your own pizza with a range of toppings and crusts. I'm a sucker for their whole wheat crust, but that might not suit those a gluten-free palate. The sauce is my thing, not too sweet and not too tangy and it melds just right with their cheese blend. Pizzas come out hot and ready and prices are right on par with other spots in LFK. If you're dining in, then know that seating can be a touch limited but your pie will come out and sit on a rack ready for serving. Plus you can listen to the soothing trickle of the goldfish pond while you wait.its a chill atmosphere in a unique sub-street space. It is Lawrence, so be mindful of your parking or you'll find yourself adding to the city coffers. Rudy's does deliver, so you can still get that great pizza brought right to you if you aren't fetching it. It's a great local business with a taste you don't get elsewhere, and it's absolutely worth my five stars.
