Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? On the this side, but thick enough that it maintains structural integrity. My go to slice is the peperoni, my wife ends to gravitate towards the sausage. This is an all-round great spot to grab a slice of pizza while you're wondering around Griffintown or hanging out at the canal.

The caprice of the evening was when I suggested to the kitchen that they cover to post tips their wait staff are losing due to their inability to get an order out in under 45 minutes. Their response was "Get the f"*k out of here loser". Was I over the top? Perhaps, but the kitchen and management should be aware that if you are going to populate a terrace with more seats than the kitchen can competently service, there will be a problem. At 900 degrees a pizza cooks in about 2 minutes. Getting a pizza from order to table should not take 45 minutes. And to be served a pizza with an overly charred and bitter crust is unacceptable. I don't usually have the croutons because they can be chewy but these were very crispy The pizza was delicious! The toppings were great and the crust was soft and chewy in a good way This pizza was supposed to have Italian sausage on it but neither of us tasted it nor saw it. Also we received the salad and then maybe 30 seconds later the pizza. We were sitting at a table that couldn't have more than two people so when the pizza arrived we had to move items around so we could eat both at the same time When we finished our salad the bowls sat there through the whole meal. There were at least three servers here so I thought one of them could have come and removed the bowls to give the table some breathing room The food was great; the service needs to be improved.

They have outdoor dining as well as indoor tables. We got a some garlic bread and two pizzas....lots of food for three people...we actually took some leftovers home. The pizzas were nicely cooked, with nice brown crisp edges and nicely melted cheese on top. Our server was very pleasant and talkative. Nice cozy place for some great Italian dishes.

In terms of my yardstick for Greek style thick and juicy crust loaded with tons of cheese, I'm used to B&M which always does a pretty good job. Based upon the reputation and pedigree of this restaurant, I had high expectations. The pizza arrived quickly and upon opening the box, I had a huge smile on my face. It's been a long time since I laid eyes on such a good looking pie. The crust looked thick and doughy, the generous toppings (I ordered a meat lovers with extra pineapple...that's how I roll) were bursting out of a pool of perfectly browned mozzarella. Never has the look of a food been so misleading. The taste of this pizza had virtually no redeeming qualities. BTW....I was STARVING! The cardboard box might have tasted good given my hunger. Unfortunately the cheese was absolutely tasteless. How does one go about sourcing mozzarella made without any salt? Is the even a thing? The toppings also had no taste at all. The pepperoni was completely bland. The pineapples were tart instead of sweet. Finally, the crust was simply ridiculous. They give you the option between thick and thin crust. My definition of thin is near razor thin crispy pizza. There's nothing wrong with that, but I was in the mood for a regular pizza so I selected thick. Big Mistake. This was the thickest and most tasteless crust I've ever tried. Imagine the disappointment of getting through all the tasteless toppings and cheese just to land on crust that is neither salty nor sweet. There is no airiness to the crust. It is simply a solid tasteless mass of wasted opportunity. On Super Bowl Sunday, this pizza broke my heart like Fredo in Godfather II. I got through one slice and tried in vain to start a second before tossing the whole disaster in the garbage in a moment of resignation and dejection.
