Pretty good pizza! We drove by the Pizza Shack several times over the years and when we had friends to the beach, we decided to give it a try. It was pretty good! The crust was crispy and our friends said that they were making the dough in the back. We got a Hawaiian pizza, a veggie and a cheese pizza. All of us were happy with each pizza. If you like cheese, they put plenty on the pizzas. The staff was friendly and promptly waited on us. There are two booths in the store, so you can eat there or at picnic tables outside. We just waited at one of the tables and our pizza was ready very quickly. We took the pizza home and it was nice and hot. Recommended! read more

You know the old axiom "There's no such thing as bad pizza"? Well, it's not true and Pizza Shack delivers. I've never met a worse crust. I was watching them put pizzas together while I ordered and assumed that the "crust" they were putting down was some sort of cardboard liner to box up your pizza. Nope, they actually pretend that this is some sort of food. The crust was inedible. New York attitude without the good pizza? Check. The woman at the front taking orders was super rude. Didn't want to be bothered with us on a busy night. I wish I'd taken the hint. An hour, two pizzas, a few nasty, soggy mozz sticks and $55 later, we were finally able to get our order. I opened the pepperoni box and saw a cheese pizza with a single piece of pepperoni in the middle. I'm sure I'm not the the first one to have to go back in and ask is this was an actual pepperoni pizza, but they think it's a good idea to put the pep under the cheese. Who likes crispy pep anyway? Not the 15 incredibly sad looking employees in there. The white pizza was maybe the absolute worst thing I've ever had. No further notes, 0/10, would not wish on my worst enemy. Folks, this is absolutely MISERABLE pizza. Brave the wait and go a mile down the road to Pepperoni Grill where they make good food and appreciate their customers. The amount of toppings and distribution was on point. The crust is thin and doesn't sit heavy. We ordered 16" Half Supreme with Jalapeños and extra cheese and half Pepperoni and mushrooms. We also ordered a pepperoni/ jalapeño and Pineapple pizza. It was so good that the family wanted to eat there two more times that week. read more

Great pizza! Crispy crust and wasn't too expensive. We got a family size Pepperoni, ham, onions, and mushrooms, $20.

Placed a pickup order for 5 pizzas. We won't even go into the service... it was as bad as the pizza. All but the supreme was awful. I equate the crust to what I imagine a cardboard box tastes like. The sauce had zero flavor. The only redeeming quality on the supreme pizza was that the additional toppings that masked the failure of the rest of the pizza. Not good. read more

I was highly anticipating our visit here, as my husband had good things to say. He was correct and incorrect. He ordered a double pepperoni and onion, I ordered the Hawaiian. His came out with regular pepperoni. Mine came out looking alright, but eating it was a different story. He was disappointed due to his order being incorrect, but he still enjoyed most of his pizza. I, on the other hand, struggled to get through mine. The sauce was super tasty and super flavorful, but it took away from the rest of the pizza. I couldn't even tell there was ham or pineapple on mine. I would highly recommend this place, but only if you're getting light sauce on your pizza, or getting a pizza that tastes good with flavorful marinara....the Hawaiian is not that pizza. read more

The supreme was the best, but the pepperoni was also pretty good. The crust was somewhat flaky, which wasn't my favorite, but it still had a good taste. We ordered a 16 inch "The Works"...from the call to delivery it took 23 mins. The delivery person was very nice. The pizza was hot and delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for pizza that's much better than the chain restaurants. read more

Called 20 times - no answer. Finally I drove there because my husband was so dead set on eating their pizza because he does rave about it. Got there to find it open but then they told me it's an hour wait (for take out) and cash only. I understand a wait but at least answer the phone to allow soon to be customers to know in advance. We just moved here in August and trying all the local spots. We were very disappointed in the pizza. The crust tasted pre made and I would say it was equivalent to the pizza at Chuck-E-Cheese, which is not a compliment. They were very stingy with toppings. I've never seen a slice of pizza with only one pepperoni. I get it if the pizzas were $5 each. But dang.. Very disappointing. We will not be going back to this place. Called in our order and was told it'd be about about the typical 20-25 minutes. We were at the lighthouse so we said we would pick up on the way back to the condo. Person answering the phone friendly and knowledgeable! We ordered the two family size pizzas...one Mexican and one pepperoni and sausage. Cost was about $35 for both. When we got it in the car it smelled so wonderful that we had to take a peep...holy cheese!!! This pizza place doesn't skimp on the cheese!
