We had a really great meal yesterday for lunch. I was craving pasta, so I thought we'd finally give Pizza Sauce a try. It's a cute place, decorated well, comfortable with great service. We had one of those meals where we covered the table in food, and all of it was delicious. I had the Chef's Trio (Marinara, Lasagna, Stuffed Shells, Ravioli and Baked Cheese) with a gorgeous and huge side salad (roasted red peppers!!), with honey mustard dressing, and very lovely garlic bread. It was so satisfying. And there was so much in the container (they served it in a metal to-go bowl, which makes a lot of sense because there's so much sauce and cheese) I don't think I ever got around to eating any of the ravioli. Not to worry. I love that there's pasta in my fridge, for later when I need that warm, gooey hug. My mom surprised me by not getting pasta. She was disappointed that there weren't any eggplant dishes on the extensive menu, and couldn't get her brain to accept any of the other Italian offerings. She got C.B.R. (Chicken Bacon Ranch: Provolone, Marinated Chicken, Bacon and Ranch) with fries AND a "small" Cobb salad (Mozzarella, Marinated Chicken, Bacon, Romaine Lettuce, whole boiled egg, Tomato and Cucumbers) with balsamic vinaigrette (because they were out of the raspberry vinaigrette). That salad was GARGANTUAN for a small. Jeremy got a Pizza Steak (Mozzarella, Marinara and Steak), after someone he respects recommended that he try one, when she found out we were going to Philly for his birthday, and his deep love of cheesesteaks. He seemed to like it, but he didn't finish the whole thing. That could be because he also got a Philly Burger (Grilled sweet & banana peppers, mushrooms, fried onions, crispy bacon, fried egg with yellow american cheese. Served with fries) and he didn't even care that there were mushrooms. He REALLY enjoyed that. Look at the photo. Who wouldn't? But he said that the star of the show were the garlic parmesan wings, because they weren't just dusted in the seasoning. It was a sauce. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to try one, but I was too busy focusing on my own meal, and he completely smashed them on his own. Everything we had was delicious, so yes, I recommend. read more

Ordered for delivery with specific instructions for the sub. They were all ignored. Was supposed to be provolone, extra mayo, ketchup, onions and without green peppers. Also ordered the salmon rice bowl and that was correct, and very good. If you want a good rice bowl, I do suggest here. Pizza is also good. Passed by this place many times but did not go in. That is until a friend bragged know how much she loved their pizza. We had to give it a try. We went in on a weekday afternoon and after looking at the menu and watching a few customers gobble up their pizza, we ordered. My husband ordered the Italian cold cut sub, it was huge and fresh, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, a medium. The crust totally surprised me, it was moist and soft from the center to the edge of the crust. It was really good, plenty of pepperoni, and the sauce has a slight sweetness to it. All in all, it worked. It's just delicious. I would have tried the thin crust pizza, but did not see that on the menu. It was probably an oversight on my part. The young lady said they do make them, so next time, I'll be ready to order that. Our cashier/server, Nancy, could not have been more pleasant and informative . What amazed me was that while we were eating lunch, they had an order for 52 pizzas. They do a huge carryout business. We will be back, plenty of free parking. read more

Ordered a pizza and a flounder dinner for delivery, time was a little long but I get it's busy sometimes. My issue was the flounder dinner, the price for the portion was embarrassing, other shops give 2X the fish and $3 less. Your fish was like rubber and the fries with it were saturated and soggy. The salad and dressing was put in with the hot food so it was very undesirable, nobody likes warm salad. At least the money for the flounder dinner was refunded. And just when I thought I was done i bite into a piece of plastic from a what appears to be from a bag of cheese or something. I see your restaurant has a problem with quality control. I've only ordered carry out. Been a customer for about 6 years. Their soft crust pizza is the best! Salads are fresh and generous. Specialty salads excellent! Especially with Salmon! I really like the rice bowls as well. I've had their breakfast food a few times. Very good as well. Subs are tasty. We work on Saturdays and breakfast is imperative. We all got together on a group order and called it in. Once our guy got there he paid for the order and left the store. Once he arrived back with the food to much jubilation, which subsequently ended after we discerned that the order was incorrect. The lady on the other end argued him up and down saying that he did not order what I heard him order first hand. So instead of masking it right , she is instead dismissive and callous. We are making one order that he was reading from a list and I definitely heard him say what he said he said , and she takes multiple orders so it's understandable if she confuses one every once in a while. But in business, you have to own up to your mistakes. She was just like "oh well , eat sh!+" Ruined everyone's breakfast and pretty much lost my business. So I've loved this place since about 2016 or 2017 when they first opened. Their wings, pizza and everything else, especially their carrot cake have always been too notch! The only thing I don't much care for that I think is a huge detractor from any restaurant is Door Dash... I guess they've become a necessary evil but they don't put your orders where they belong, they rarely text or call you to let you know that your food has arrived and they've actually even taken my food. I ordered dinner tonight for my mother and grandmother and got the "Cream Chipped Beef Over Toast with Home Fries"... when the meal arrived my mom told me she didn't get her home fries. So I called them to let them know and they told me it doesn't come with home fries, although, it's literally on there menu. Then proceeded to tell me they charged me $6.95 when it clearly shows I paid $7.95 and it came with it. Not separately. Telling me I didn't order it. Hamburger was ... the best way to describe it is "uninspired". Not awful. Not good, either. Honestly? A burger from Wendy's, McDonald's, or Burger King would've been tastier. We ordered waffle fries. Soggy, under-cooked, moist, mealy. I know fries don't travel well, but they didn't have to travel THAT far. I know how to make fries crispy -- you cook them over high heat. And if they're going out for delivery, it's probably better to overcook them than to under-cook them; at least that way they'll remain crispy when they arrive to the customer. It was pretty good, nothing to write home about but not bad. It wasn't very hot though; it was more lukewarm. But when I asked for mayo on it, I thought they'd put it on the side. Last month we got pasta shells and a Reuben that were delicious and delivered by the company and the driver were wonderful. Tonight we got pasta shells again and a regular normal burger. They read the notes!!! Food was fantastic. The Uber driver that delivered our food to another house was another story completely. I could've substituted the bread with all home fry potatoes because they swam in chipped beef but tasted like savory potatoes. The cheese pizza was incredible. Plus it is reasonably priced and much better than - let's say - Pizza Johns of Essex; Although I only cared for Pizza Johns' gnocchi or veal (and never really liked their greasy pizza anyway). I didn't check into their hours on the carry out menu (that I guarded with my life when leaving). Is it wishful thinking to wonder if they opened at 5:30AM for breakfast before heading into work?? Every menu item I've tried is great. Normally when you get a 5 page menu, it's not a good thing. But here, it's awesome. They don't half ass anything. I love it. Delivery Driver just stood there until I came to the door even though I said leave outside. But the worst part was how terrible the pizza was. The dough is super thick and undercooked, the sauce is very overly sweet, and the cheese tasted rotten. Flat out nasty rotten. This is a carry-out/dine in pizzaria cafe that makes a ton of different dishes. If you drive down Route 40 in Essex/Rosedale, this place is hard to miss. After passing it several dozen times, my roommate and I decided to give this place a rating. We ordered way more food than we could finish: Fried Broccoli Bites Ribeye steak fries Lg Cheesesteak Sub Med Fusion Pizza 2 Sodas All came out to $38. We got table service...a nice young man came to take our order and our food was brought out to us. What was remarkable was that we got real plates to eat off and home style napkins. The place was clean and there was a TV on a news channel to keep you entertained. Roommate thought the pizza was above average good, I thought it was decent but not memorable. The cheesesteak sub was delicious but I thought the meat was chopped up too fine. Broccoli bites was a "skip it next time" but still tasty. Having had the cheesesteak sub, the "ribeye steak fries" was overkill. If you are hungry and like steak subs, the steak fries are pretty good. However, the cheddar cheese makes it very heavy and nap time is sure to follow, should you venture to tackle an order. The 2 that we have ordered onsite were fine, 2 ordered over the phone wrong. One time picked up pizza and got half way home and they called asking if I would mind coming back as they gave me the wrong pizza. Yesterday we ordered an extra large pepperoni and cheese.
