A carry out pizza store located in an industrial area. It was hard to find at night. There was no tables nor bathrooms inside. There was hardly any services to speak of. I called in my order. There was minimal communication between us when I picked up my pizzas, yet I was automatically charged 15% tips without my knowledge. I understand it's hard for small businesses, but I would like to know my options. The price I was told and the price I was charged was different. No receipt was given until I asked. It was dishonesty and I felt cheated. 4*Black Truffle: pretty good. 3*Pizza Del Campo: per normal, nothing special. 3*Chocolate Hazelnut Cake: real whole hazelnut in the cake, not too sweet.

If you haven't visited Pizza Rosa, Run don't walk to check this place out. Pizza Rosa is located in Old Town G-Burg surrounded by HVAC suppliers and a basketball court. It's unassuming and almost hidden. There are no tables inside or out and if I were in the area, I honestly wouldn't know to look for grub there. But on a Sunday, we pre-ordered and picked up dinner. They've got an array of pasta and refrigerated foods/stuff to take home. Def an electric range of beers and wine as well. We ordered: Beet Salad- Fresh (no wilted greens here) and tasty with generous portions of arugula, bite size chunks of beets and thinly sliced radishes. The tagliatelle was perfectly al dente - amazing is all the words I can say. You can tell it's not box pasta. I devoured all of my pasta in 5 minutes (literally). Margherita and Black Truffle Pizza - (you could actually Taste the mushroom and smell the truffle - wowzers!). The pizzas were very good, the crust being a bit more on the doughy side than if you prefer Brooklyn or Neapolitan style pizzas. Hazelnut Chocolate Cake- I would love to say I enjoyed it but my little one devoured more than his fair share aka all of it. You could actually taste the hazelnuts and not just the ones on top. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Even for take-out and driving it home, the food still tasted delicious. We will def be back, thank you!

220 is a huge building that has a bunch of businesses inside. Pizza Rosa is the first one on the backside! The sign isn't huge or anything, but if you walk up you will see the logo on the window. When you step inside, you see a bunch of pastas (also theirs), vinegars, sauces... even beers & wines! But you don't see pizza... so you might be wondering where it is? But don't worry... once you're in there, you smell it! If you walk to the back you'll see a counter and even more products to buy! There is a stack of menus on the counter that has pizza and several other dishes. On recommendation, I decided to get the Fumo and the beet salad that had a homemade lemon poppyseed vinaigrette. The Fumo was meaty and spicy, and OH MY GOD I love their dough! You can definitely taste the quality in it. I can simply say it's a great pizza. It's not the heaviest either! The salad had mandarin oranges, goat cheese, beets and greens as the main part of it. My sister is vegan, and if not for the goat cheese, I would've recommended it to her. The beets were packaged separately -- I'd recommend doing that with the goat cheese for the vegans! My sister & fam also came to try the spot out with me, and my nieces LOVED their margherita pizza. The garlic knots and marinara were also delightful! The knots were the perfect bite-size, and were nice and light -- though not as garlicky as some others I've had! All in all, it was a delightful experience. Heads up -- there are NO chairs inside and there are no benches outside, so this is a to-go type of deal... but there are some tires at the business next door that I found myself comfortable sitting on. Go to Pizza Rosa, you won't regret it. And try out their pastas!

I've had pizza from Pizza Rosa twice this week! First time was through DoorDash. I got the Black Truffle Pizza and BBQ pork sandwich. The Truffle Oil smelled so good! Loved the pizza with the chewy bit light crust! I'm obsessed with the pizza dough! The combo of mushrooms, Truffle Oil and cheese was really yummy! The BBQ pork sandwich was huge! The roll that it came with was delish. Nice crusty exterior, a little chewy and flavourful. Held up to the BBQ sauce well! Second time, I called in my order and opted to go pickup! Got to see the shop as they are in the Open Hands spot. Got the Margherita pizza, garlic nots and beet salad. All yummy! Definitely going to be back cause there's more on the menu I want to try! The shrimp and pesto pizza sounds so good! Think it'll be my next one although I'm still thinking about that black Truffle! Note that they're on the backside of the building. There's plenty of parking. As it's a little shop, there are no tables for dining. They've got the Open Hands pasta, frozen food items and beer and wine. Makes for an easy one stop shop to pickup for dinner!

When I tell you I have found my favorite pizza place, you have to believe me. Pizza Rosa is pretty hidden. It took me a while to find it. It's a small shop that also sells handmade pasta as well. The owner was so nice and attentive. He told us they started off just making pasta but expanded to make pizza as well. The crust on the pizza is absolutely delicious. The pizza had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Overall so good!

Pizza is soo good and fresh! I ordered UberEats and they followed all of my customizations for my Gambino pizza (added basil, caramelized onions, & smoked mozzarella) extra pizza sauce on the side. I really love how they packaged my pizza for togo (A+). The pizza is on the expensive size for me but I will say it's worth it. Note: I ordered the stuff crust. I'm a lover of stuff crust and this wasn't it. However, the dough is good

You'll have to meander through Gaithersburg to find Pizza Rosa, but if you do, it'll be worth it! This time we got a large cheese pizza and a beet salad. The pizza was just as expected: cheesy, gooey and melty, atop mild tomato sauce and the fluffy, airy, perfectly chewy crust. The beet salad was packaged for delivery, but still satisfied with fresh, crisp ingredients and tasty firm beets. Make your way to Pizza Rosa and you won't be sorry, the pizza crust alone is worth the visit!

Felt very rich. -two cannolis hand filled to order! The filling had chocolate chips in it. The pastry shell was perfect and not too fried. We've gotten their pizza before too- def recommend! Fantastic crunch and they make their own mozzarella. We also like to get their homemade pizza dough, pizza sauce, mozzarella, ravioli, and pasta for quick weeknight dinners. Saturday 1/24/26…read more It's been a little over 2 years since my last visit, and a re-visit was definitely due, so I'm here. I made a call in pick up order and got the chicken parm sub $11.75 and gemellis pepperoni special $24. Also, the service for ordering and picking up was quick and easy. - The chicken parm sub was solid, but the main problem was the lack of tomato sauce. - The pepperoni special was a miss for me, and that's unfortunate cause I remember it being way better last time. It's cheesy, but the lack of tomato sauce and the dough/bread being underwhelming/ weak really ruins the taste experience. Overall, it seems that Gemelli has definitely fallen off in terms of the quality & taste that I've enjoyed previously. Don't know if I'd be back, but I do know that their chicken parm and polpette subs are still worthy choices in my eyes.

Having traveled and dined across the globe, I did not expect homemade pasta, fresh espresso, and Neapolitan style pizza to be in Rockville MD. I shared a cheese pizza with my daughter, my mother had the chicken piccata, my cousin the gnocchi, my father the chicken parm, my cousin had a caprese salad and the further seats I couldn't see. We all shared a few orders of the calamari. EVERYONE raved about how delicious their food was. I agree. Probably the best piccata I've tasted. The pizza was excellent. The tiramisu great. The pistachio gelato was perfect. I sure wish they were closer to Florida!! So good.

The biggest hit for me was the suppli appetizer. These are absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly! Similar to arancini but somehow even more delicious. These are a must-order. I had the pasta alla vongole and a bite of my husband's chicken parmigiana. Our friend had mushroom ravioli that she loved, but I didn't try as I don't care for mushrooms. I've been on a clams and garlic kick lately for some reason and the vongole comes with these and bonus bacon. I would have preferred the bacon a tad crispier, but that is personal preference. I'd give this dish 4* - I would get it again but after trying some others. From the one bite the chicken parmigiana was a 5*. Their marinara is very good and the linguine in both our dishes tastes freshly made. We all split the chocolate temptation dessert and I ate more of it than I expected to, it is chocolate mousse adjacent cake with ganache frosting, very light, perfectly sweet. Often I find chocolate desserts too much after a big meal but this one wasn't heavy at all. 5* My friend ordered sangria which she thought was more like a wine cooler; too sweet for her French oenophile sensibilities and a bit lighter than a sangria usually is, but I am a pleb who loves sweet drinks and I would order it. If you are a sangria purist you might not care for it. Hubs enjoyed his old fashioned but said it needed a dash more bitters to be perfect. I was driving so enjoyed a non-dirty Shirley. Prices to me are reasonable for quality and portion size; our tab ended up high because of the appetizer, drinks and dessert but if you just had pizza or pasta with soda it would be pretty affordable. I will be back to get more suppli and try other dishes!

They seemed to have renovated the inside when I went to pick up which made it look much nicer and bigger. Definitely a good date spot.
