As many times as I have been to GVR, I have never been to the Pizza Rock. I always chose Borracha's instead. But going to dinner tonight, my daughter and I decided we'd try Pizza Rock. We asked our server for his favorite dishes and why they don't offer a Chicago style deep dish since they had Detroit, NY, sicilian and American. He stated they talked about it. While he first only recommended the popular dishes, he was hesitant because a previous customer asked him to choose and then complained he didn't like it..schmuck! If you're asking someone else to choose your dish, first you commit to trusting that person decision won't be horrible, they're your server for crying out loud. Second, I told him no matter what I would eat it. That allowed him to give me his personal recommendation. I didn't want to know what he chose, just order it. It ended up being the sausage and stout pizza, great choice. Along with the Gorgonzola and apple salad, a beer and it was delicious. On the downside, Pizza Rock is a little pricey. Honestly, I would say about $8 over what would be a reasonable price. This is why I wanted something different than standard pizza. I got what I wanted, a unique pizza and a delicious salad. I would definitely come back, may even choose pizza rock over Borracha's...okay let's not go crazy, lol. But will definitely be back.

I had family in town and we went to Pizza Rock with a Party of 10 adults and 5 kids- and had an amazing time. We shared several appetizers and all were great. Yummy Meatballs, Italian Fries, Honey Calabrese Sausage, and Caesar Salad. It was my first time having the Honey Sausage and it's so good. Of course the pizza was the highlight and we had several for the table. I can't really remember which ones we ordered but as usual all were delicious. Our servers were Harmony and Maria who are the best of the best. They are both super friendly and checked on us regularly. The decor is eclectic and fun, we dined by the semi truck. It's upbeat vibes and great for large groups. Located at Green Valley Ranch Resort.

Been here a million times seems like, and have not reviewed this location ....so it is time. The restaurant is a lot like downtown but a little smaller and casino themed....the roulette table that seats eight is pretty cool. We personally like to reserve a high top for Happy hour. Normally we get the happy hour individual pizzas and some beer, but we were feeling froggy and decided to try the Grandma's traditional pizza. Perfect pizza for two people, and as light eaters we had a few pieces for leftovers. The beers were nice and cold and 2 dollars off for HH. The pizza arrived and it was delicious...but extremely rich. I think the sausage puts it over the edge of richness, but it was very good. If you like rich Pizza with a meaty richness you will like this pie. Our server was great as always and it was a great dining experience on a Friday night.

This place never disappoints! Great food, great service, and great prices. We were seated in a booth and they brought out a kids menu with crayons for my son which I really appreciated. It kept him entertained for a bit :) This time we tried the mob pizza and it was good, but I still have to say that the Chicagoland thin crust pizza is my favorite. We also got a side of Caesar's salad which was decent. For drink, my go to is Bloody Mary but this time I tried Michelada, it was okay but next time, I probably will stick to my usual.

We absolutely LOVE Pizza Rock! This has become our weekly family dinner spot, and it never disappoints. From the moment we walk in, we're always greeted with such warm, genuine hospitality--it really feels like they appreciate their regulars. The service is consistently amazing, and they go above and beyond to make sure we're taken care of every single time. And the food? Always a hit. Everything we've tried has been flavorful, fresh, and perfectly done. We're actually on a mission to try every pizza on the menu--and honestly, it's been the best (and most delicious) challenge ever because every single one has been incredible so far! It's not easy finding a spot that keeps the whole family excited week after week, but Pizza Rock does it effortlessly. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, great service, and a place that truly makes you feel like family.

Checked out Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch this week. I used to go to their downtown location years ago, but this was my first time checking out their Henderson location. Pretty large size restaurant, including a bar, large tables, booths, and an outdoor patio. (I did not go to the outdoor patio, but I could see it from where I was sitting.) It's dimly lit, comfy booths, not an overstimulating environment, which is great. A good size space if you're trying to do a large group dinner for a birthday or celebration. It's in a really awesome location because it's right near the entrance to the casino from the Village Park Drive and Paseo Verde Parkway, (it gets a little confusing with all of the different parking, garages and entrances to the hotel but this one is in the back and it is the biggest parking lot. What's awesome is that if you need to like go to the car for any reason you're right next to the parking lot. The restaurant does not have its own bathrooms so you do need to go out into the casino and it's on the right hand side when you get out from the restaurant which is the only really annoying thing, but it's normal at a lot of restaurants in the hotels. But just know that if you need to use the restroom while you're at the restaurant, you have to go out of the restaurant. The hostess was very sweet. Got us to our table pretty quickly. Our server Chelsea was super nice, great energy, and very attentive! They have really awesome happy hour menu! And very, very reasonably price!! Their pizzas for happy hour are personal size but you really could share if you get a whole bunch of things. We both did their pesto paradise, it was pretty tasty! We got the rosemary garlic fries, which were really good. My friend is a fry connoisseur and she very much enjoyed them! Their garlic garlic bread.... Is just as you would imagine very garlic garlic and very bread. lol Really great option if you are at Green Valley Ranch! And really amazing happy hour prices that you should definitely check out!

Freshly made! Cheesy - how I ate it.

This was my fiancés annual holiday dinner for his company and overall the service and food were good. They do not have heat lamps, so they bring the food out as it's ready. This means that if you order a salad, like me, you'll get your entree way before everyone else. Not a big deal, just a little different. My Caesar was good, a decent portion for the price. My fiance really likes the spicy bucatini pasta with sausage, it's his go to here. Make sure to ask for the focaccia bread, it's delicious!

    The East Coaster
    Cecilia M.

Ambiance was fine and the waitress was very friendly. I also loved the music! LOL somehow NSYNC and Metallica both played within the hour we were there (which I fully appreciated). I asked the waitress if she could choose between the Margherita and the East Coaster, which would be the winner... and she recommended the East Coaster, so that's what I ordered. The menu notes it won "Best Traditional Pizza in the World" at the Las Vegas Pizza Expo, which definitely set expectations. I asked for a Cherry Coke, but they only carry Pepsi products and tried to make one for me. The soda tasted kind of flat. The crust was actually my favorite part. It really nailed the NY-style pizza I enjoy. Unfortunately, the rest of the pizza missed the mark. The sauce lacked a robust flavor, and the toppings were just okay. It honestly looked better than it tasted, and I kept feeling like it was missing something. I knew it had ricotta, but I don't think it added much and the pizza could've gone without it. The pizza was also super greasy and too messy to eat. They had a bottle of hot pepper olive oil on the table but the pizza definitely did not need that! I really felt this pizza was lacking in flavor. Considering the price, I was pretty disappointed .. BUT to be fair, it is in a casino. I've always heard great things about Pizza Rock, so maybe that added to the letdown. My friend ordered a gluten-free Margherita and said it was just okay as well. We took leftovers home, and even my partner agreed the sauce didn't have much flavor. Not bad, but not something I'd rush back for.

Pizza Rock in Green Valley casino is a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Their decorations include a semi truck! The staff is nice and the menus all have a record album cover and record inserted in the menus. The food is good! The fried zucchini went so fast I forgot to take a photo! It may be a little more expensive than other local pizza shops, but given its location Pizza Rock wasn't insanely overpriced either. Definitely worth checking out!

    Hot honey wings
    Yuki J.

I've eaten here so many times and it never disappoints. In my opinion, they have the best wings, especially the hot honey wings. They're always crispy and flavorful. The pizza is good too but the wings are hands down my favorite every time. They also have a great price on a beer and shot combo, which is a nice bonus. Service has always been solid and friendly.

What a disappointment. Pizza Rock has been on my list of places to check out since we moved here. I had pretty high expectations with the great reviews and was completely let down. The pizza was very overcooked and the crust was basically as hard as a rock. As you can see from photo, there was barely any cheese on the pizza and what was there lacked flavor. I'm honestly shocked by how bad this was given the price. I wish I had just gone to the Pizza Hut down the street. Anyway, back on the hunt to find a really great pizza place close by since it's one of our game day go-tos.

Ask the Community - Pizza Rock

Is there a dessert menu? Do they still have the mud pie?

Do they serve wine and also if we bring our own what is the corkage fee?

You are more than welcome to bring in a bottle of wine, the corkage fee is 10$ :)

Do you sell pizza by the slice?

No they don't in restaurant. But at Tony slice house at the food court they do sell by Yee slice and good variety.

Are dogs allowed in the patio?

I don't think they have a patio. The entire restaurant is inside of the Green Valley Ranch Casino.

Do you still have trivia night? It used to be on Tuesdays, I think.

    Unfortunately not at this time.

Is there a vegan menu? Thank you in advance 😁

They have salads. But, that's probably about it.

Happy hour is the entire dining room.

Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. I'm looking forward to going back there for dinner, as they had plenty of options on the menu. Such as brisket, ribs and so forth. Definitely going back for round two. Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. Do yourself a favor, take some friends, and get all of the aforementioned appetizers. Your taste buds will. Thank you!
