Not exaggerating when I say this was a game changer. Naked Mozzarella (with fig jam on the side): Always a favorite. I introduce everyone to this dish and they fall in love every time. Perfect way to start the meal. Moscato Frizzante: Sweet but not too sweet, paired beautifully with the chicken parm. Pistachio & Cream Martini (holiday feature): I hope y'all grabbed it before they discontinued it Jan 4th. It's delicious - I recommend saving it for dessert rather than having it before your meal. The Service: Our server wasn't chatty but was incredibly efficient, patient, and attentive. She let us taste multiple wines before we settled on one, and when I asked her to refresh my martini (I'd let it sit while eating), she brought it back perfectly chilled. Made it easy to flag her down when needed. The host was transparent about wait times and got us a great booth. The Vibe: Rustic, bougie Italian home aesthetic - always love how they decorate. It's a very social setting and gets loud during dinner hours (bring loop earplugs if you're noise-sensitive). The energy was great - everyone seemed to be having a good time. Only "Disappointment": The water tasted off. That's it. Everything else was excellent. Would absolutely return!

For starters, the cashier/server greets you in a friendly, Italian way. Secondly, the food itself - it's amazing. I've had a few things - the omelettes, the lasagna and the Baretto panini. All of them excellent. And the service itself, also outstanding. You don't expect table service at a cafe, but Baretto has it anyway. After you've finished your meal, the waiter (who might also be the owner, I'm not sure) asks how everything was. You get the sense that it's not just for politeness, but he really wants to know. All in all, Baretto Caffe is a consistent, pleasant, delicious experience through and through.

Expectation wise? Don't expect Michelin star chefs or fancy interiors. It's a very humble setup in a non-traditional office building with staff who go the extra mile to assist customers. My pasta was made on the spot by the same person who took my order and made my espresso. He was a very honest, hard worker who served customers while making the food and drinks from scratch. I watched him meticulously cleaning all the cooking equipment, espresso machine, countertops, surfaces, and cleaning the floors after serving his customers. I was very impressed by his work ethic and dedication. I tried the penne pasta with mushroom and sausage topped with Alfredo sauce. It came with garlic bread and salad. Their number one ordered meal. So good! The penne pasta with rossa sauce (rose sauce) came with chicken and mushrooms. I prefer the Alfredo sauce as it was rich creamy and delicious. However what made my experience a good one was the hospitality and attentiveness of the staff. In today's fast food world, good service warrants a higher star rating!

The design your own pasta for less than $12 from an arrangement of varietal ingredients alone should bring you here; not to mention the sweet owners who cater the food with love. There was so much to choose from I decided to throw in a complicated mix that still worked out. There is no dine in and no need because the take out portions are plenty and the branding of the restaurant gives it that not too bougie but low key bang for your buck deal! I am so surprised this place does not have more reviews, the sincerity and joy of their service you'd think they are tryna hide something assuming it has to do with the food but its just a bonus cause the food just slaps!

The lemon rosemary drink was refreshing and a great earthy and sour taste. The Bomba Mozzarella was so delicious, mozzarella is my favourite cheese and it was so nice to eat it freshly made with some spicy peppers and bacon ragu. The focaccia was perfectly toasted to pair with. I love a good kale salad and the Toscana kale salad did not disappoint. I will admit it is kind of hard to pierce the kale with the fork to eat, probably easier just to scoop it up. The chicken and gnocchi was good, although the chicken was a little more charred and tough than I would've liked. Gnocchi was delicious though in the cream Alfredo sauce. Overall, great meal and service. Would definitely come back again. Great spot to come with friends and groups and just share a bunch of food.

Pretty busy over the weekend during dinner rush. Service is prompt, fast and Jackie was very kind to explain the menu and what they recommend. We got spaghetti and meatballs, steak and mozzarella. I would say everything was as good as I expected them to be except for the meatball. It was too dense inside and not the usual signature meatball I know scaddabush offers. Would certainly not order that again. The spritz cocktail gin had too much cucumber and water taste to it, not much alcohol. Otherwise I would come here again perhaps try their happy hour as well. I was initially worried about the turkey order if it will come out with thick portions of dry, white meat. Fortunately, that was not the case. The turkey was juicy and was complemented well by the gravy and mashed potatoes. The steelhead trout was also good, but just not my favorite out of the 4 dishes we ordered. I would recommend going with the Prix-Fixe menu as it is slightly better value. Just by adding a few more dollars you get an appetizer and a dessert. The Vanilla Panna Cotta and Chocolate Raspberry Tartufo picks we had for dessert was OK. Service we had when we dined was a mix bag. Our waiter was nice and helpful. The food also was served with the complimentary pepper grinding and grating of cheese. The minor gripe I have is the inconsistent and long serving time. Our appetizer was served right away, but our mains arrived much, much later than typical or standard to what I have come to expect from a dine in restaurant. The waiter did come out to acknowledge about the long gap between serving the appetizer and the main. I also remember having to ask for the dessert to already be brought out. Overall, the food was good to great. However, it is a bit pricey. For our group of 4 our bill including tax and tip reached around $160. Our orders included the Lasagna, Pasta arrabiata, a dessert, and two 3-course Prix Fixe menu.

Sadly, this eatery didn't have a dessert menu. I wanted something small to satisfy my sweet tooth, as I was stuffed. I wondered if Costa Sorrento had dessert that I could take home. I walked over to this restaurant. I was already parked in the lot across from Good Catch. I walked in. A small market was in front of me. Gelato was on my right in the freezer. Yay! A male staffer came over to greet me, who was a bit hard of hearing. I let him know that I was here for the market. He nodded and let me be. I was so happy to see candy, sugar, salt, pasta, chocolate, and a lot more. It was wonderful. I got these items: - A small cup of Biscoff gelato - Black truffle luxury mixed nuts - Frizzy lemon candies I asked the man where I could pay for these items. He guided me to the cash area at the bar. The downside to this market is that you don't see prices. He knew how much the gelato cup cost. He didn't know about the other two, so he had to call a colleague. It's funny, but it ended up being a group effort to figure out pricing and cash me out. Two other female staffers also joined in. It's not exactly a cheap market. I suspect that the mixed nuts and lemon candies were imports. They were $10 each. My small gelato was $5. I'm glad that I didn't commit to getting a pint. What if I hated what I had? I also wanted a small dessert, so it worked out. I paid with a credit card. I tapped. Done! I asked if I could get a spoon for my gelato. One of the nice women went into the back to get one. The other woman let me know that they used to give out big spoons, but had gelato spoons now. I got a blue spoon with a napkin from the woman. Service is great here. I thanked everyone and left with my goods. I declined getting a bag, as I was parked closed by. I enjoyed my Biscoff gelato in my car. It was yummy. I'd get the pint next time. It had bits of Biscoff that were so flavourful in creamy gelato. OMG! It was delightful and the perfect dessert to end my meal. Yesterday, I devoured my bag of black truffle mixed nuts. If you love black truffle oil and mixed nuts, grab a bag. The cashews, walnuts, almonds, and more were huge. I'd get another bag in a heartbeat. Tasty! I may have to come back and get the black truffle potato chips next. I'm sure they are equally as yummy. I haven't tried the lemon candies yet. I hope that they are delightful. It was great dropping by to check out the market. I hope to return and have some pasta next time. (215)
