I have heard so much about Papa John's pizzas, and finally had a chance to try them. The staff at…read morethis location are friendly and very helpful. I ordered the Works pizza: pepperoni, bacon, spicy Italian sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives, and mozzarella cheese. The pizza was well made and not messy, with generous portions. I wasn't used to having most of the cheese on top of the toppings though. The sausage was very spicy, so I ended up picking it off. I really wanted to love this pizza, but I found the crust was too soft and very chewy. I wasn't sure if their pizza crusts were like this in general, so I heated a slice the next day in my air fryer. The crust was still quite soft. I don't like an overly crispy crust, but I do like a bit of crunch. Each pizza comes with a small container of complimentary garlic sauce. The papadias, which are flatbread sandwiches look tempting, so I may try them next time.

I'd dined at their Ossington Ave location years before and was eager to return for more VPN brick-oven goodness. I was astounded to be the only patron inside! But was treated to excellent service by the crew. After serious deliberation, I settled on the Sweet and Spicy Salami pizza, with roasted garlic cream, ricotta, oregano, basil, calabrian chili, and hot maple. Literal perfection in every way! Finished every last bite and almost decided to buy a pie for the road. Since then, at least once a week, I think, "Oh, I wish I could get Libretto today!"

This is my first ever review on any platform and there is a very big reason for this; sadly it…read moreisn't in positive remark to this pizza joint just lying beyond the corner. Let's start at the beginning. It was summer of 23 and me and my homeboy were looking for somewhere to eat around the area. This place had pretty bad ambiance when we first went in, but it was to be expected for a place in the area. The first pizza I ordered had been regular price for the time, and it was a decent medium pizza. The first time I really got engaged with this place was their butter chicken pizza, it was great and light enough to eat constantly. Then as I was leaving, the man who had prepared my order hounded me to leave a review. I said I would as I left but never really thought about it again. Then I felt it, the crave of a lifetime for pizza and the one place I had recently gone to came to mind; so I ordered delivery, I was feeling lazy. When I looked on my delivery site, they had a deal, "Buy one get one, medium pizzas" and a lightbulb went off in my head. This was the year before I went to post-secondary so I would be gone the next year and when I came back the crave grew. This year, coming back from university, I was really excited to be back in the city, and after finishing my exams I finally had time to relax. It was the first time in a while where I went on my delivery app, and fresh slice had come up as well as the deal, so I decided to order. The consumption and delivery was fine, it was the morning after that wasn't. I woke up and immediately ran to the toilet to vomit, my stomach was bugging me like h-e- double hockey sticks! Don't let my tone fool you when I tell you this morning was the worst of my life, and it was made worse by the fact that I had work the next day early and had been throwing up all day. My earliest guess was salmonella from the chicken, but I had to get to the doctor within the hour cause my stomach was in so much pain. When I finally got into the ER and was being checked out they found out I had ringworm, I was stuck in the hospital for days throwing up on antibiotics and various other medications. I can easily say this pizza ruined my life, as when I got back home my dog shat everywhere from eating a slice I left on the table, and I had to take him to the vet because I knew the chicken was contaminated. Never visiting this establishment again, you lost a valuable customer just from being ignorant and clearly not a good asset to the service industry's workforce. As a line cook myself I am abhorred . End of review.

Got a butter chicken slice and a meat lovers slice. They were cheap: not big slices, but it means…read moreyou can mix & match and they're good for snacking. Even late at night there were 6 types of slices available. You also get a rather wide range of finishers to top your pizza. There was also a free dip which was nice. Heinz ranch was good. Butter chicken was so-so. The butter chicken sauce was quite weak tasting (probably because it was only a drizzle for the pizza) & the chicken itself was not sauced so the flavour was not integrated. Meat lovers was a bit better overall. The sausage seemed fragrant. But the pizza was a bit dry - it was over baked - the toppings and cheese were brown. They also offer unlimited toppings on their pizza, which is quite rare (as far as I know only Pizza Studio does that too - but their pizzas are much better). Their messaging is inconsistent - the brochure offers 2 slices of pizza & a 21 oz pop, valid till Mar 31 2021. In-store even in February the price was higher & the drink was smaller. This is not a good look. The drinks come in a sippy cup. This is the first place other than Starbucks I've seen them used.
