The pizza & pizza cookie were awesome! Best pizza in the area! Also, manager on duty when I called, was beyond helpful.

Plenty of parking space. Restaurant is spacious and clean. We had a very early dinner so we were able to choose our table. Not many customers but by the time we finished eating, more people came in. Pleasantly surprised to be served Ceviché, salsa, and chips right away since we did not order it. Even better, it was complimentary. Nice touch!! Had the Cantaritos Special. Great presentation!! It's a fruit drink with Tajín and Tamarind. A mini bottle of Tequila is laced with what tasted like Chamoy. It was delicious!! My new favorite drink!! Our food was delivered quickly. We ordered the Shrimp Empanadas with Mozzarella Cheese. Intrigued as I thought it was a weird combination. What an excellent pairing!! Generous portions of Shrimp and gooey Mozzarella Cheese dipped in a sauce that tasted like Thousand Island Dressing. So good!! My husband ordered the Huachinango Diabla. Crispy Red Snapper on the outside and moist, flaky on the inside. Diabla sauce complimented the fish very well. Mild and a touch of sweetness. I had the Mendigo Special. Wow!! So much depth of flavor in the savory soup that had generous portions of seafood; octopus, shrimp, and crab (imitation). Topping of cilantro, onions, and avocado all enhanced the already flavorful soup. The dish comes with this buttery, soft, warm bread to soak up the delicious soup. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon as everything tasted so delicious!!

The Duck Inn in Delavan WI. will fill the "bill" (pun intended lol). I didn't order any of the many different kinds of Duck Inn menu items because I was told in advance to get the Prime Rib. But first I had to quench my thirst with the famous Wisconsin Brandy (not bourbon) Old Fashion. Brandy, some simple syrup, bitters, cherry and orange and just a touch of lemon/lime soda. And the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was amazing. Sorry no pic on these. They went too fast. A beautiful fresh and very crisp salad preceded the main course. I heard about the portion sizes of their beef so I went with the smallest size they had. When it came to the table I told the server, " I think you gave me the large size". Nope this is the small. It was crazy huge. So stop eating the salad, put the loaded potato on the side because it's gonna take every inch in my stomach to finish this half of a cow! lol Well after almost all of it was gone, a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a table shared dessert was next. Home made ice cream with blended Cream De Menthe and Cream De Cacao piled high with more Cream de Menthe drizzled over the top for good measure. A heavenly experience indeed. All the locals filling up the bar and tables, laughing and have a great time was so fun to be a part of. Don't bob and don't weave. Just duck into the Duck Inn for a truly wonderful experience.

That kind of freaked me out though. I don't like cucumber, so i took the cucumber out of the sushi, and i didn't finish an egg roll because it was too chewy (not crunchy at all). That didn't seem to be a problem. I didn't try everything. I liked the noodles I got. The sushi was decent (I had the cooked sushi). They had a nice selection of desserts. My friend said she'll come back with her kids. I don't think I will. I'd rather have everything cooked fresh. The fried things I tried (gyoza and eggrolls) were too chewy, they didn't taste bad, but the texture was off. The exception was the rangoons, they were crispy. The desserts were ok. The best was the prepackaged ice cream. I'm glad i tired l tried it. It looked like the families with kids were really enjoying it. I'm sure, as a kid, I would have too.

The place had a decent lunch crowd, but was by no means packed, so we figured it would be quick to get food for the kids. Our waitress came to get our drink order pretty quick, but then service slowed for receiving our drinks, ordering food, getting our food, and getting her attention for a to-go box and our bill. As for the food, we ordered the Bangor, which had shrimp and haddock and choice of two sides where we chose the corn muffins and beans. We also got the Nashville hot chicken sliders with sweet potato fries, kids chicken tenders, and kids burger with fries. The kids meals were both quite generous portions, especially the chicken tenders. The tenders were nice and juicy with a crisp exterior and one of the best things ordered. The kids burger was overly charred and had a little burnt taste, so the child wouldn't eat it and ended up eating the shrimp from the other meal instead. The Nashville hot sliders were decent sandwiches and quite large, but were by no means Nashville hot, more like somewhere between mild to medium spice. The sweet potato fries were great though and went well with their bbq sauces. The fish and shrimp received mixed reviews from the two people that ordered it. The corn muffins were definitely something that we would get again and also worked great with the bbq sauces. Overall, it was fine with some good and some not so good. The price is a little higher than some restaurants with similar offerings, but the portions are quite large, so maybe that's the tradeoff. Not sure if this is going to get added to our rotation, but they did seem to have some good happy hour deals, so maybe for that.
