I had Pizza Moena's Sicilian pizza last night. Traditional Sicilian pizza is light airy and crunchy in the middle. It was like eating lead sinkers. Not a true Sicilian pizza dough recipe. Good Sicilian pizza is about 1 inch thick. Theirs was 1/2 " thick and doughy - heavy. Worst $31.62 I ever spent. I have eaten frozen pizzas that were better! read more

Dang, I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. I ordered their basic cheese pizza with 3x sauce and buffalo sauce. The pizza is delicious and a medium at $12 is a great deal. Even better, the buffalo sauce tasted homemade. I was greeted upon pickup by a foreign guy who made my pizza. Any place that makes dipping sauces from scratch deserves major props. Every other pizza place uses CRAP sauces made of soybean oil and a bunch of nasty chemicals. I'll definitely be back, excellent pizza and dipping sauce. read more

Do not ever order using this. Never was received, no confirmation email. No refund. Stole my money. I am furious. I ordered this from my computer at work for my GF because she couldn't get out to get herself something and I surprised her and nothing ever showed up. Service is horrible & staff who answered the phone is rude. Food is typically very good, but if they mess up your order beware. They will remake it but then tell you that ypu have to wait until they have another order being delivered near you so wait could be extremely long. Suggestion...if you mess up an order maybe you should go out of your way to make it right vs being a b**ch on the phone & telling the customer they have to wait until you have time to get them the correction. read more

Very nice pizza sauce and crust was very well made . Half of pizza was pepperoni but not that much was actually on it . Meatballs side was ok but 4 small meatballs for 8 dollars with some sauce was pretty underwhelming . Will try again but will try different things . read more

Ordering online was easy and it was delivered in about 45 minutes. We ordered a pizza and a grilled chicken salad. The pizza was kind of gummy but the crust was burnt and stale. The chicken on the salad was so dry and rubbery that my cat didn't even want it. We're not too picky but my husband and I didn't care for this food. read more

Wow, what great food! The fresh cut french fries were wonderful as well as the Italian & Steak hoagies. I can't believe they were halves, so big. The spinach/chicken pizza was out of this world. I know this will be the place I will be ordering this delicious food from now on. It was delivered quickly while everything was still hot. There was no skimping on any of the foods ordered. Great pizza and breadsticks with lots of flavor. Big fresh salads. The only thing I would complain about it that the lettuce wasn't cut up at all really hard to eat giant pieces. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

I tried this restaurant three times and it disappointed each time. The first time I ordered by phone. An hour later, when my food hadn't been delivered, I called and was told it was on it's way. Another hour later, after my food STILL had not been received, I called again and was told they didn't have my order. They offered to send me my food the next day because they were too busy that night. Seriously?! The second time I ordered a pizza and it arrive cold, under cooked, lacking sauce and covered in hard, cheap cheese. Even my husband, who eats anything, wouldn't eat it. The third and final order was for two Italian hoagies. What I received was a giant bun with a few slices of cheap bologna, four slices of pizza pepperoni and a ton of lettuce and onions. What part of that was Italian? I'd recommend avoiding this place. The prices are steep, the food is not even average on a good day, the delivery is slow (when you actually receive your order) and the customer service is lacking. read more

Pizza Moena is one of our go to local pizza places. Their pizza is good and their wings are good (as mentioned above avoid their sandwiches). The last time we tried to order, though, was a bad experience. We wanted to get their advertised 40 wing special. We went through the ordering process and then at the end they said they could not split it for 20 wings of one flavor and 20 of another (not advertised). I get not splitting flavors for a dozen wings but think it's a little ridiculous when ordering 40. I'm also surprised that what I always thought was an owner operated local pizza place would not accommodate such a reasonable request. Not a fan. The pizza was pretty expensive. I got two pizzas and a small hoagie and the bill was 50 or more...I then adjusted my order because the toppings cost soooooooo much! Anyways, I judge a good pizza by sauce, cheese and dough... the dough wasn't fully cooked and was gummy, there was hardly any sauce, and the cheese formed a gelatinous layer the was thick and hard to bite! I def judge a pizza by quality of cheese and this cheese was def cheap:( disappointed as hoping for another go to place but pizzas at home it is....I will say the stars I gave are for incredibly kind and nice service.....still searching for a delicious white pizza! read more

My food wasn't hot, took a whole hour to get it then the driver didn't know how to make change. My order was 22.18, I gave home 30, he gone ask me how much do I want back. Ahh all of it. You don't ask customers how much they want back give them their change then let them decide. So I said you dont know how much change to give back he said No. No I dont. With an attitude no less. Then he pulled out his cellphone and looked it up his calculator. Then he tells me no need to be rude. First of all, dont get mad cause you cant count, you a driver one of your responsibilities is to know how to give change instead of you relying on your customers to tell you what their change should be or hoping they say keep the change. Seen billboard for this restaurant. Had their Italian sub was not worth the money $11.00. Bun was great but meats were cheap bologna, ham,pizza pepperoni,and a poor excuse for salami and cheese was tasteless I don't think I will be ordering from this place a second time. Just ordered tonight and want to say that this is a much needed addition to pizza joints around Burrell/new ken. Food came hot, was delicious and probably the best new pizza place that actually gives you a lot of food for a great price. Order from here with no hesitation, it's well worth it. The pizza is very cheesy, nice size and thickness.. And the hoagie was huge and very meaty, all around awesome place and will be our go to. read more

Loyal customer of 5+ years no more. I usually order once a week and have had minor issues in the past but nothing major until last night. 2 items in my order were wrong, so I called and was passed between three different people who rattled off my order and didn't apologize. I just wanted the items replaced, but they wouldn't and were rude. I'm never ordering from them again and have told all my family and friends not too either. I love to try new pizza places, especially pizza shops that are not "chains" or where the pizzas are made on conveyor belt ovens. This pizza is not made on a conveyor belt oven and it is evident the ingredients are fresh and made to order carefully. I ordered an extra large pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, and pepperoni for delivery. The Italian man that answered the phone was very nice and made me feel like my business was important to him. It took about 45 minutes for delivery, which is not long since the pizza is "oven cooked." The pizza arrived hot and fresh and the delivery driver was professional and courteous. The pizza, however, was just ok. It looked like it was going to be amazing, but unfortunately it was very average. There really wasn't any flavor. It was very bland. The cheese, sauce, and even with pepperoni and sausage, the pizza didn't taste like anything. With a little seasoning of my own, the pizza was much better. I wish I could give it a better recommendation, but when you open up a pizza shop, due to so much competition, you should know your pizza is better than most of the other shops around you. This pizza simply is not. It is slightly above average but I would not order this again over some of the many other pizza options around the area...
