Instead of apologizing for the mixup told me that the breakfast sausage is their version of spicy sausage. I let them know that it isn't, that they have three types of sausage. Breakfast, hot, and mild, they told me that was wrong they only ever have had two. I let them know that I have always ordered their hot sausage pizza. in my 22 years of adult life that has been my go to Pizza. I was told I was wrong, and that they have only ever had two kinds of sausage, and that breakfast sausage is their spicy sausage. I pulled it up on their app and told them I was looking at three different options for sausage. They still insisted I was incorrect, but if I wanted to bring it back, they would make one with their mild sausage for me. I told them I don't like their mild sausage and I didn't want a breakfast sausage, marinara pizza. They agreed to make me a pepperoni instead still insisting that they have only ever had two types of sausage. It was super insulting. Since I moved out on my own in college, 22 years ago, I have been ordering the hot sausage pizza from Casey's. Your website lists three kinds of sausage! And you're still going to tell me that I'm wrong like I'm some kind of idiot. if you don't know, or if you were out of one of them, just say that and just apologize. Don't try to gaslight somebody who is literally reading off your website to you that they the customer are wrong about it! Don't lie to people. Never had anyone ever do that before. The pizza came rather quickly. Not a traditional pizza joint, but every table in the restaurant that is eating is having pizza. The toppings were very generous. From the amount of cheese to the meat and veggies, every pizza had a lot of toppings. The crust tasted fine but almost tasted like a very simple homemade dough. The pizza had plenty of flavor. Now I like salt more than anyone else I know, to the point we're friends and family give me grief about my salt intake and I'm the one saying these burgers are too much.
