a pepperoni pizza in a box

I first experienced Piezano's while in Lincoln on our house hunting trip for my new job. I asked the hotel front desk for a recommendation for "local" pizza vs national chain crap. He recommended Piezano's but warned me it would take awhile but worth the wait. My first order was Calzone and was huge/awesome. It stuff my wife and me. So now I live in Lincoln and I've done calzone again, but tonight it was pizza. It was so dang good. I will never order chain pizza as long as I live it Lincoln.

This is by far, the best pizza in Lincoln. Ever since the new owners took over a few years back, everything has massively improved. We have tried both dine-in and carryout, and every time it was a hot and tasty meal. We've introduced several friends to Piezano's and they absolutely love it. There is just something about their crust that is just so much better than anything else. And the sauce is very, very tasty. They don't overdo any element; it's just a harmonious balance of awesome. Note their parking lot only fits maybe 8 cars and their dining area is not the biggest. And unless you're westbound on South St, it's a tricky place to drive to, but well worth it! I know I'm a bad Nebraskan for saying this, but I can never go back to Valentino's or anything else again.

I love this place. The pizza is delicious. The staff are kind and efficient. The lunch buffet is tasty and only $6.99 - includes a fresh, simple salad bar, pizza that is refreshed frequently, and bread sticks. Sunday night is all you can eat spaghetti night. The menu includes pizza, pasta dishes, and salads. Pasta dishes are large enough for 2 people, or take home leftovers. Carry out is efficient.

12" pepperoni, green pepper and jalapeno. Very good/filling.

It was great then it was bleah and now under new ownership (I've heard, not confirmed) we decided to try again last night. It's still expensive, relatively speaking, but it was rulllly good! Heavy thick dough, lots of whole milk cheese, sharp sauce that balances it all. Well executed and friendly service. I had my standard (pepperoni, green pepper and jalapeno). Wife had pepperoni and cream cheese. Kids loved their pie too. Big hit! Welcome back to our house, Piezano's.

From the VERY first bite, I could kick myself for not going in sooner. I've had ample opportunities to visit this place and for one reason or another never did. Finally wandered in - their menu is massive, and the pizza is SO flavorful. If you're trying to destroy your diet, order the garlic chips.

The pastas are amazing. Love that they serve alcohol. Easy place to find. There are a variety of different pizzas too

Sauce way too salty. Like dangerously salty. Location is fine, chill people but not worth the price for just salty pizza.

It's excellent pizza. And they have anchovies! Have only tried takeout so I cannot speak to ambience.

We ordered cocktails and Calamari for our appetizer which was perfectly done and lightly breaded, the best we've ever enjoyed. Tasty homemade rolls with butter and Seasoned Olive Oil came with our creamy soup and salad. The Seafood Alfredo was to die for, the creamy sauce paired perfectly with huge shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops. The creamy brandy sauce that enveloped my husband's order was delightful. Our service was professional and accommodating. We never felt rushed, it was a leisurely dining experience. My only regret is not ordering the Tiramisu with a cup of coffee to make the perfect finish. Next time. The prices are totally reasonable for such delicious offerings. It reminded me of the old Legion Club, The Nebraska Club and Tony and Luigi's. All three of which are terribly missed. Lincoln is so lacking in providing a relaxing, lovely dining experience but now there is one restaurant we will gladly patronize. Thank you to the Chef and to all the kind staff for a memorable evening.

Enjoyable experience here. Lincoln only has a handful of sit-down, fancier, Italian joints but this…read moreone is worth a revisit. Fancy on the inside but prices are really pretty reasonable. I got the Carsoni (pesto) and did both chicken and shrimp which was $22, it's enough for two meals though so this is fair. The sauce was flavorful, good consistency of oil and basil. Loved that it included mushrooms but could have used more of them in it, also had bell pepper and broccoli. I'm not sure broccoli goes too well with the pesto dish, but it was steamed well and soft. The shrimp were huge and they had 4-5 in the dish. We also did bruschetta as an app, and loved the fresh tomatoes/garlic/herbs on top. Loved the dipping sauce with the bread as im a balsamic/oil freak. The soup was just okay, it was a creamy chicken/potato but it was very pureed and not quite what I was expecting, I'm not sure there was even a chunk of chicken in it. I've definitely had better next time, I'll be inclined to try the salad instead. Drinks were fun, I enjoyed the black raspberry margarita flavor and a limoncello spritz although both appeared a bit too watered down and not too strong. Service was fine, however hard to really judge since we came during mid-day late lunch and I'm pretty sure we were the only table there.

First time at napoli's…read more We were seated immediately and greeted cheerfully. Hubby ordered a diet coke and i got iced tea with lemon. Iced tea was inconsistent. The first glass was very light second was darker. Taste - regular iced tea. Nothing special. Meals were to be served with bread rolls Bread rolls came with my soup Bread rolls were soft and fluffy absolutely delish. The soup was pretty good - just a bit too salty for me i could feel salt granules. My salmon palermo was a tad bit overcooked for me. Still edible but a bit dry. The pasta was also a tad bit overcooked- tried hubby's spaghetti and that was truly al dente. My spaghetti had broccoli and tomatoes in it. And it was pretty nicely seasoned with a splash of tang from lemon juice. Tiramisu was pretty good. I still prefer the traditional tiramisu with just cocoa powder on top. This has chocolate sauce on the top. Not a deal breaker - just my preference Overall, decent meal. Might not be back so soon though coz of hubby's meal. He found it inconsistent in tempersture on his plate of spaghetti
