Decided to take a ride to Pizza King when visiting our son at Alfred State. We walked in and were greeted and placed our order We got a large pie/half pepperoni and a chicken quesadilla. I was surprised how quiet the area was . Cute town. The quesadilla was very good and the pizza was good (a little oily from the cheese) I should have asked to have the crust done a little more on the well done side, but that was my fault. We took it to day and ate it outside in the garden area across the street. Price was fair. read more

The best pizza in New York State and great customer service! I would recommend the All the Way Pizza, but their Pepperoni and cheese is amazing also. read more

Great food, attentive staff. Always a good option to pick up food on the go. Wish options were slightly cheaper.

Huuuuge pizzas available. Sauce is pretty good too a light hint of red pepper. But not too much. read more

Meh, not great pizza. The family ordered a large sheet pizza from here with pepperoni and peppers and it was just okay. Because it is a sheet pizza cooked in a pan, certain things are a given: the bottom crust will be soggy and greasy; the cheese will form a sheet as it bakes and then cools; and the inner pieces will be hard to hold. I get it, and my review isn't based on that. However, the sauce had an odd, dried herb flavor mixed with sugar that was pretty odd. It is probably their typical pizza sauce (and based on other pizza sauces I have had in the area, likely sweet pizza sauce is a regional preference) so either you like it or you don't. I didn't, as it tasted fake. Also, the pepperoni didn't have much flavor at all. It got me through the night, but it isn't the best pizza I have ever had. read more

Pizza King makes GREAT pizza! It is made from hand tossed pizza dough, just the right amount of sauce and delicious fresh toppings. I've had pizza all over the world but Pizza King's pizza is better than all the rest I've had. Every time our grown sons come home to visit Pizza King's pizza is always on the menu at least once! read more

So yummy, they have thin pizza. Good ranch and they have seasoning at tables. Good workers thank you

One of my favorite places to get pizza in Wellsville! The wings are really good, and I love the subs! Delivery is usually pretty fast, and prices are reasonable! read more

They offer great pizza! I loved that they offer a Gluten free personal pizza.

Excellent New York style cheesy pizza sold by the slice or pie. Good service from friendly staff; not really a sit in type of place more geared to take out and delivery. Their Chicken Bacon Ranch (CBR) and Chicken Wing pizzas are amazing!! You can order a small pie with 6 pieces, a 1/2 sheet with 12 pieces, a party sheet with 30 pieces or the king with 30+ pieces in case you are really hungry. read more

Delicious! Pizza King never disappoints! I've always loved their pizza. I love the big pepperoni and the super thin crust. read more

ONG what can I say about the KING pizza. My girlfriend and I were going camping in Rushford for the weekend and while looking for things to do I came across this gem. 2 girls vs a 30" pizza, it was the talk of the weekend and the pizza was amazing, super nice employees even carried it out to my car. read more

Pizza King - the counter and counter area of the restaurant - Pizza Near Me - Wellsville, New York

I miss this place! When I moved from New York to the West Coast it took me years to find a pizza place that comes close to AUTHENTIC NY pizza. Yes, is a bit greasy but a ritual part of your visit here includes patting a napkin gently across the top of your pie to soak up a thin layer of greasy cheese...it's just part of the experience the locals know and appreciate :-) read more

Pizza King - *SIGH* Sure miss this place! - Pizza Near Me - Wellsville, New York

Decided to give them a third try. I ordered online. A slice and mini tacos. After arriving I waited 10 minutes and was handed the slice being told tacos would be ready soon. 20 minutes later still no tacos but cold slice in the box waiting on the rest of the order. After watching people come and go, I asked and was told it would be a few more minutes. At this time, the table under the box holding the slice has grease on it from the pizza getting cold. I let the employees know the pizza was now cold and they placed it under a warmer. After waiting 45 minutes, I am finally given my food. read more

This place is staple in wellsville. Great pizza spot that has Been there almost 50 years (since 1972). Must be doing something right!

Excellent locally owned pizzeria. I got a square pie and it was excellent. Great flavor and smelled awesome too.

Yum!!! My teenagers loved the pizza. They have traveled and eaten lots of pizza and wanted to eat at Pizza King two days in a row. That says a lot. read more

Gone so down hill in the last 15 years. Not sure if its the owners or the young people that dont seem to care or what but I used to make this a regular stop when i came home but not any more! I would rather have a sub from Giant!! Sad to say.. lacking in so many areas now.. this was the place for pizza but now I pass on that too and it sucks bc there are no other good pizza places in town.. wish I could go back in time.. read more

I tried pizza from this establishment recently. It was okay. I ordered half with green peppers, half cheese. They said pick-up in 15 minutes. It wasn't ready for more like 30 minutes. So, we had to sit around and wait for a while. And my pizza came with peppers - not just green peppers, which is what was listed on the menu. I'm not a fan of red peppers, so that ruined it somewhat. Overall, it was okay. Not sure I'd go back... read more

We live close to the Pizza Capitol of the world (Old Forge PA is well know for the various types of pizzas) and we find Pizza King's pizza to be among the best we have ever had. The personnel there are also very friendly and helpful with the orders. They also deliver which is a plus. read more

Great place to eat! It's cheap & convenient great employees/service my 1 & only compliant is no online menu which i know basicly what they offer just would be nice if could see a menu online (website for this specific restaurant) read more

Best pizza in Wellsville. Prices are a bit high, and you could be in for a wait, depending on what day and time you are there. Wings are sub-par, and only sold by the ten? Why not just sell by the dozen? Anyway, the pizza is the best you'll find in town, but there are better options in the area. read more

One of the best chicken wing pizzas I've ever had. 15 minutes for two large pies and they where perfect. Definitely coming back.

Always paying for extra sauce and not getting it. So disappointing. Love the food. Think I'm due for a good coupon.

Honestly, some of the best NY style pizza in the area. I have spent plenty of money coming in to buy a few slices, a whole pizza, a calzone, or otherwise another great tasting menu option. Albeit, the food is awfully greasy, I have come to greatly appreciate it, and the flavors that are present because of it. read more

This was probably the best Pizza I've had in a LONG time...Super tasty, the crust was perfect. Ultra fast delivery for a Saturday night. I'll definitely make it a point to order from them in the future. read more

We normally are not a fan of thinner pizza. However, when a NY style is done right, like this one was, it's excellent. Family owned business. Really good flavor and plenty ingredients. Sauce a little sweeter. Would recommend. read more

my favorite pizza place in allegany county since i was a kid. now its my kids favorite pizza place.

Sure, the pizza and the food is pretty good, but most of the food ends up soggy and cold by the time you get it. Even if you're not getting it delivered. If you are getting it delivered, be ready to microwave anything you get. Because by the time the lazy deliver boys get around to wandering up to your house, all your food has the consistency of rubber and the temperature of a good wine. And I live only a 1 minute drive away from this place. All in all, very good food. But the service and wait times are atrocious. read more

While the service is okay, the food was sub par at best. I ordered a calzone and pretty disgusted when I opened the box. It cost me $6 and change and what I got was no bigger than a slice of pizza. It also tasted more like cardboard than anything else. Another time, I ordered a taco salad.... yeah that wasn't any better. Guess I shouldn't expect much from a small town "pizzeria" if you can even call it that. read more

Surprisingly excellent pizza in Wellsville! New York style pizza. It is delicious, fast, hot and they deliver!

First time in Wellsville, desk clerk recommended Pizza King. Ordered slices of pepperoni and half a sub. Excellent New York style pizza and sub was stuffed with goodness. Staff even smiled while working. I would recommend. read more

When they get your order right it is REALLY right and tastes wonderful; but, they lack in consistency. I ordered pizza and wings delivered. I repeated my order and corrected the order taker on the phone and STILL got the wrong pizza. When I called to let them know that they got the order wrong, they said they would send out a replacement and wanted the first pizza back. We had cold wings by the time our second pizza arrived. I know mistakes happen, but this has happened more than once. read more

My husband and I are in wellsville due to his job and we have ate pizza king several times now . They have a wide range of food and it's all good , and a good price .very friendly people work there as well. Best place to eat in this lil town . Food is ready in 5-10 minutes. We have ate their pepperoni pizza , which for thinner crust the dough is so soft & huge slices . Good flavor. Their subs are great, (subway type bread with Jimmy Johns flavor) , wings were good too & smelled great. but my favorite was the mozzarella sticks . They didn't taste like frozen cheese sticks like most restaurants have . They were moist and fried to perfection! My only complaint would be whoever takes your order doesn't mention their specials , we didn't know you could get drink/ chips with a sub /wrap for a dollar , had we known this we would have spent the extra $2. I would say will be back , but we already have several times ! Yum. read more
