I got the combination pizza that tasted almost exactly like a frozen pizza brand I shall not name. Crust was thin and crispy and didn't have a lot of flavor. Wife had the BBQ pork which was good but nothing to drive out of our way for. The star here was the cheesy bread. This is what I would have liked the crust on my pizza to have been! Light, fluffy and flavorful. I found myself picking the pieces with little to no cheese as the bread was amazing! I won't be back as it is out of the way but if you like thin, crispy pizza this place may be for you.

You won't find that anywhere in North Carolina, and Davino's isn't trying to be that. What it is? The best pizza in the Lake Norman area. This perfect little hole-in-the-wall has great specials and consistently solid pizza. The crust hits that ideal balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are generous, and the flavor never disappoints. I can (unfortch) house half an 18-inch pizza myself. But what truly sets Davino's apart is their generosity and community spirit. Right at the front counter, they post a simple message: if you're hungry and don't have money, a meal has already been paid for you. Prepaid tickets hang there - some for two slices and a soda, others even for a full build-your-own 18" pizza. It's a beautiful, tangible act of kindness that can make a real difference for families in need. Makes my heart happy. Great pizza. Great people. A place that genuinely cares about its community. Wouldn't mind if they upgraded their fries to the crinkle cut kind they show on their website and not the long John silver kind, but I'll make do with the 'za. I'm proud to keep supporting Davino's.

The chips were cold and hard and the cilantro on everything tasted way more like parsley. Sad to give a bad review but with service charges it was close to $50 for two plates that were sub par! We've eaten in the dinning room there before and have gotten excellent food and service. This was not that.

Also, our food was ready for pick-up early! Many patrons come to Sports Page for their chicken tenders. They are good, but are getting smaller and smaller. I got the side salad and fries with my tenders. Their fries are pretty good (not too greasy) and give you a lot of them, while their salad is fresh but ranch is a bit runny. They are consistent with the quality of their food and service, which is a good thing. I can promise you that every time you go to Sports Page that you will always have good customer service with pretty swell food. If you prioritize a clean and maintained restaurant over proximity, you should come to this location instead of Coulwood. Great job Sports Page!

We went for lunch, seated right away, we decided sit at the bar. Great service was provided. I think a manager came out was kind of sitting at the end of the bar, he too was so friendly. And lucky he did because we didn't know about there dessert area. It was out of view, but yes make sure you walk back there and see all the delicious dessert, made all in house homemade. Nice drinks selection and very nice selection on the bar from bourbons to tequilas and everything in between. Now, hear me on this, I THINK I found some of the best pizza in Charlotte!!!!! The restaurant outside of the actually city, but you know what I mean That saying a lot being from Buffalo. But man, their Hawaiian heat wave pizza. Just had pepperoni, pineapple and drizzled with hot honey. Look before you say ick pineapple don't belong on pizza, please just try this one first. There sauce incredibly good and the crust was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved this pizza. We got wings, a burger and blackened chicken panini as well. No complaints on the food. Everything we had was really good. If I lived in Charlotte I'd be here once a week for the pizza alone. Maybe they will see this and offer shipping hahaha.. I also couldn't leave without a dessert, so went with the apple pie blossom..no complaints, flaky crust, filled nicely, great ending to our meal Seriously tho, this spot was a hit, great location, great service and amazing food.

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and thoughtfully designed. We started off with the pepperoni bites as an appetizer and each got a salad, Caesar, Strawberry, Antipesto and Chicken all filled with quality ingredients and flavor, very well-prepared and satisfying. We finished with cake and cheesecake. The blueberry lemon cake was a bit on the stale side (don't order if it's the last slice in the dessert booth), the cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter cake hit the spot. Service is another standout--friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your experience enjoyable. You get the sense that the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows. Bottom line: Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service--definitely worth a visit (and a return trip).
