Recently I saw they have a gluten free pizza so I have them a call to see. They offer gluten free in small and medium and they get their gluten free crusts in a thicker base so it doesn't burn and taste like cardboard. It's also cooked on its own pan, so they try to limit cross contamination as much as possible. And if you're a regular pizza eater their crust is thick, it's loaded with cheese and toppings and is an absolute delight. And their garlic dip, yum.

(We have kids, we had to keep it simple, flash forward, it was still "too cheesy" for them) We also ordered a side ceaser salad, which hubby and I both agreed it was ho hum and we'd skip it next time. The side of hot honey and garlic dipping sauce was scrumptious and a great addition to the pizza. It did take a while to receive the food and we grew a tad impatient. We did notice a lot of people arriving afterwards for pizza that they had called in for. We even ran into a neighbor who had called in for a pizza and she did explain from past orders wait times can run about and hour or more. So call ahead if you are in a rush. The pizza was airy, thin, and NY style slices. BIG, and comparable to Di Fara Pizza in Brooklyn, which I have also reviewed. Although I could have easily eaten about 3 slices. The slices were not heavy. They also serve suzy Q donuts, which we grabbed one for the kid, and gelato which we might go back for in the future. You can grab some premade slices if you are in a rush. They have a self serve water station, and a television in the restaurant. Street parking. The pizza is a pretty penny, but well worth it. Unlike other common Lorenzo's this location is separately owned which means the owner was allowed to improve the ingredients to provide much more enjoyable standards. You just can't find the same pizza anywhere else in the area. I would say that this Lorenzo's deserves to be considered a "community icon" as it has been at this location providing the same qualities for decades. The staff whom work behind the counter are very kind, people who are commonly well known to most of the community. (It's very likely to be given discounts and "extras" if they recognize you for a regular customer.) They have a fairly decent dining room with a waiter/waitress to serve you. There's a tv usually displaying some sports game. You'll notice the furniture is somewhat from it's original early days which is quite interesting. They also have a small nicely-paved parking lot out front. They do offer delivery as well. It's also a corner location which stands out and would be hard to miss. Low and behold it was a pizza oven within a trailer! I checked out the menu and ordered a pizza which I currently don't remember but it definitely had meat and buffalo mozzarella. The pizza was pretty solid and reminiscent of the style of pizza that I really enjoy. Thin crust, cooked with almost perfect crust. The toppings were ok and the sauce was ok.
