This was a one‑star experience from the moment the app said my order was ready and I walked over to find the doors locked, the "dining room closed" sign looking like it had been sun‑bleached into permanence, and absolutely no indication of how a customer is supposed to pick up food they already paid for. I walked the building. Someone inside at the drive thru made eye contact, then disappeared. No one came over. I knocked on the glass -- nothing. Went back to the front doors, knocked again -- nothing. Tried calling the store, only to reach a central call center. Chose the option to be connected to the store: a dozen rings, then the call ended. Tried again. Same thing. Third time. Same thing. Called back and spoke to the call center rep, who said she'd contact the store manager. Instead, she transferred me... straight back to the store, where no one answered. Called again. At this point, I'd been standing outside for over 15 minutes. Asked for a refund. She said she'd call the manager -- and instead transferred me again. Someone finally picked up at the store. After explaining everything, the employee told me they were "probably busy" and "didn't see me at the window," though she had no explanation for the person who looked directly at me earlier. I asked for a refund, no longer interested in the pizzas after 20+ minutes of trying to reach a human being. She said she'd process it. Days days later, I'm still waiting. read more

I ordered a supreme and a meat lovers from here a week or two ago and it was not the same. I mean I know it's not gourmet but something about the sauce and even the crust did not taste the same. I have been ordering from this Pizza Hut since I was a kid and that was a while ago. This was the most disappointing pizza I have had from there. I hope they did not change the sauce recipe. Other than that it was cooked well and ready by the time I arrived. I will give them another try but sad about the taste. The ambiance is pretty much the same only thing that has changed is they closed up the hole they used to be behind the counter where you could see thru oh and a new paint job. read more

Doesn't seem to ever have enough staff. But all that do work here do their best to keep the doors open as often as possible. Seems that they don't pay as high as other fast food places. Maybe that could help with lack of staff. read more

Hadn't ordered from the Hut in a while so thought I'd peruse their menu while watching the football game. Their medium create your own was reasonably priced with 2 toppings and I added the Cinnabon mini rolls.. of course! Delivery was prompt and everything was as hot as you'd expect for delivery. The pizza was everything I expected it to be except the toppings were disappointingly light. Why should they scrimp on onions?! Even Pepperoni is cheap! But the sauce and cheese were great. Just order extra of your favorite toppings! read more

Ordered in person. Rhame Lee helped us. She looked like she was in such a hurry to take our order! My Aunt and I looked at each other like what the heck was her problem! We felt super rushed and her demeanor was very nerve-wrecking! If I wasn't with my Aunt, she would never act that way again! Id tell her straight! Trust me lol! She was not friendly! The food was great and refreshing. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Based only on food experience! Ordered out pizza at 7;22 pm. Got delivery at 9:10 pm. Almost 2 hour wait. Okay. Pizza was okay but if your making this pasta. You need to check your employee's making your product. This is a sad pasta. Noodles hard due to no sauce before going into the oven. Who wants to eat crunch pasta? You folks really need improvement in this location. Picture below is how I opened the pasta. I did not even take a bite!!! See how there is space in your big foil pans. Very embarrassing on a franchise chain!!! read more

This pizza hut is located in the Pukalani terrace center. Friendly staff. When you call the 643-1111 number you get the main pizza hut i guess on Oahu. They ask if you heard the specials if not they week let you know what's the specials are. I usually always know what we want so I don't really need a special. Today when I ordered they said 15 minutes to be ready, so I left makawao and arrived in 15 minutes I just waited less then 5 minutes. They girl was friendly that helped me. Pizza Hut - Large Meat Lovers Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Pukalani, Hawaii

I ordered 2 med pizzas and 3 different types of chicken wings. Upon pick up an employee came out I gave her my name and she grabbed my order in an aggressive manner and placed it on the counter. Gave me my receipt and turned away. While I was checking my order she asked why what's wrong in tone that was aggressive. I ignored her at first and then after I double checked my order on my phone I said to her I think my pizza was made wrong I didn't order it this way the 2 med were suppose to be exactly the same. One was correct the other one was wrong and I showed her my phone with my order. She grab my receipt and pointing at the receipt saying that I removed the beef and the pork from both pizzas. She did that twice trying to make a statement like I made the mistake without even listening to the explanation on what was on my pizza. So I snapped. Didn't understand why I was being talk to that way. I told her you better relax and explained that the pizza had bell peppers and onion I ordered a meat lover minus the beef and pork added mushrooms and olives. She was hell of rude didn't even take the time to check the order before talking a whole lot of shit as her voice got louder. She yelled Rita and the other girl came and was very polite ask what was wrong so I explain. She apologized for the mistake and admitted that she had made the pizza and ask me if I would like for her to rush me another and I said yes. I was beyond pissed by way I was treating. I then ask the girl her name Rhame only to find out that she is one of the manger's what the f how is that even a thing A MANAGER would even act in such a way. This girl doesn't like her job, she is making your establishment look extremely terrible. I will not and have not let alone have anyone talk to me or anyone for that matter in such a tone. It was totally disgusting, disrespectful and degrading. If you're not happy with your job get another one. If this girl Rhame is a member of the family that owns this franchises Pizza Hut. You going to lose money having her there. Bad business decisions. Just saying! And just so you know she totally got into a yell match with me. BAD CUSTOMER TREATMENT. This location has screwed up my order numerous times over the years and but this is the cherry on the cake. I will not be back to order for your location and best believe. I am very vocal and will let my friends and family know not to go there. Not worth the stress! I am placing the lowest star that this site will let me. I would rate this location 0-1 stars. Today was the last day visiting Maui where my boyfriend lives and it was closed even when we place our order. I placed an order online and my boyfriend called me in the parking lot saying it's closed. Why have it available to order online when you shut the doors early? I made an order that was over $60 and it's really sad that we didn't get our food we ordered. Hopefully we have time to pick up our order tomorrow, but this is something you should probably fix on you're website for your location. It's really misleading because he was looking forward to coming home to eat from working all night on his birthday. read more

We all know at Pizza Hut is known for, but honestly I'm not a fan of their Pizza. I think the last time I liked it was when the stuff crust came out back in the 90s I believe. Surprisingly the only thing I actually really like there is the breadsticks slightly chewy and then little bit softer on the inside has a great garlic salt on it. Other than that, if you like Pizza Hut, have at it. But definitely not my go-to for pizza. read more

Have I come to the highest level of embarrassment by re-downloading Yelp just to write a review about Pizza Hut? Well, yes, yes I have. I have had Pizza Hut maybe 5 times in my entire life and we all know it's not gourmet or anything special. But it's a compliment when I tell you the garbage they give people at this location is far less than edible. And in Hawaii it's more expensive than the mainland. It was $28 for a large horrific excuse of a pizza. We also ordered the boneless chicken for a little excitement and wow.. I should have taken a picture to show the mess they gave us but we just threw it away. Anywho, just go hungry. Even if you're drunk, it's not the right choice. read more

Very disappointing my super Supreme looks like a pepperoni can't believe they have workers like this. Zero rating

Finding decent pizza that doesn't break the bank is an endless conundrum on this island. I find it disheartening to go to these places where you end up paying $30+ for a pie, ultimately to be let down by either the quality, size, service, or some combination of the three. Here is where the old standards, like Pizza Hut, come in mighty nice! There are ALWAYS specials, like tonights two larges with three toppings apiece for $25 together!! Score!! This way, you and the family can get what you want with out too much disagreement, and maybe even have leftovers for tomorrow's quarantine picnic! The on-line ordering system is fool-proof, and paying before pick-up makes everything simple and sanitary. Don't expect any hoity-toity arugula, pancetta nonsense. This is corporate pizza, tried, true, and blue. My ONLY caveat is that they do not deliver to upper Kula (although I am not sure if they are delivering ANYWHERE right now.) Boo. Next time I order, I will also add on the $2 extra cheese option. It is not as cheesy as the way I remember it from my youth... about the last time I had Pizza Hut. read more

We ordered a pizza tonight for delivery (4/11/21). It was delivered quickly & the items were hot. HOWEVER, upon opening to serve we noticed a "different" smell. We discovered that the olives were spoiled. We contacted Pizza Hut immediately only to spend 30 minutes to be accused by the night shift manager -- "Well, how many pieces did you eat? How do you know it is spoiled?" No resolution until contacted Oahu. WE WERE NOT ASKING FOR A REFUND. Just to make sure no one else received spoiled olives! We turned down the offer from the Oahu call center manager. (BTW she was responsive & kind) read more

Want to order a last minute pizza in Upcountry without breaking the bank or driving down to Costco? Order from Pizza Hut but make sure you order ONLINE. When my sweety told me that he pays $30 for a pizza from Pizza Hut when he calls last minute and he does carryout, I was in total disbelief. I told him there's no way you should be spending that much on a basic pizza from a basic chain pizza place. I told him I'd check online because there had to be deals. Sure enough, ordering online is the way to go. We ordered a large 4 topping pizza for $13.99 online and when we went to pick it up, on their menu that same pizza is $29.49. So in conclusion, YAY for online ordering...lol. It's very easy to create a pizza hut account. Make sure you go to www.pizzahuthawaii.com not www.pizzahut.com It doesn't take long to create account. Our pizza only took about 15 minutes to prepare so it was a nice last minute dinner for a family of 3. I am not a huge fan of Pizza Hut pizza in general but there's not many inexpensive pizza places to choose from Upcountry. I still haven't tried Serpico's but I heard Serpico's is good and so is Pizza Fresh (which I have tried) but they are more expensive. Pizza Hut works when you need want a big pizza under $20 or other great deals. Check them out and make sure you order online :) read more

Pizza hut isn't like it use to be. Not sure what's going on with them. Pizza quality needs improvement. Maui needs a good pizza place!

Whether you are a local or not, I strongly suggest you never have a pizza from this establishment! You will be upset! I ordered a pizza from this place and the cashier was extremely inefficient and I got the "special" she suggested, turns out this place is of the worst quality and I'm sure will not be around very long! The counter person was absolutely clueless as to what I wanted to get, i wanted a stuffed crust pizza and she kept saying it was a lot more! I said several times it was fine, but she gave me what she wanted! Btw the large size is really a medium at this location! So even if u order a large you will receive a medium. They really cut corners at this place beyond belief! Be aware that your pizza no matter what your order is, Will have almost no cheese and no toppings and they don't give a care you better stay away from here or else you're going to be super disappointed good luck trying to reach a manager and when you finally do you will get a woman that is crazy and doesn't solve any problems all she will do is argue and argue and argue with you that's the way they do things they do and she is not replacing anything no matter what you say! Her name is Elena, she claims to be Hawaiian, she's extremely ignorant and biased, only matters what she has to say and customer service and and decent manners are non existent here. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! You will be upset and disappointed! My pizza only had 2 slices of pepperoni if that per piece! She has every excuse in the book to justify their lack of normalcy and what any decent, not fabulous pizza should be! They should not be in business! I will go to the Kula lodge, Pizza Fresh and Serpicos from now on and pretend that this negligent place is completely out of business! Please see for yourself!!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS DEPRESSION STYLE pizza join! read more

Would give this place a 0 star rating if I could. Drove 40 minutes to pick up my 20 minute order which was wrong. They have made me drive around everywhere trying to pick up my order due to the virus and told me to come inside. Doors were locked. Had to drive through the drive thru 3 times and by the 3rd I just went ahead and canceled the order. Terrible place, I understand why most of their restaurants are shutting down now. read more

Love this for right after practice or in need of good customer service and a cookie pizza :)

So I'm walking into this Pizza Hut with My daughter around 5pm and another parent is walking in with her little one. I hold the door for them. They then proceed to walk to the kitchen, area ok. Nobody is at the register. I sit there and wait five minutes as the little one runs back and forth from the kitchen. Are you kidding me?! I don't know if she was the owner or manager or what but that's just messed up knowing that you have a customer waiting. I showed her more customer service by holding the door open. I left and went to Serpico's for real pizza. I only go to Pizza Hut for my kid anyway. You guys suck! read more

I messed up my delivery order twice and they were very helpful! Although they included the wrong breadsticks, I feel like I deserved it lol.

Okay here's he thing. If you work in customer service and us "CUSTOMERS" are putting money in your paycheck we deserve to be treated with respect.. Now honestly how hard is it to count the customers change back. Not that hard. That just reassures you that your draw at the ending of the night will be perfect. read more

It's pretty sad that this place can't even put their actual location which is Kalispell, MT. Which now makes me wonder after the service that I had this past Friday what they are hiding. The previous two days the service was excellent, I ordered the pasta with breadsticks for 11.99 both of those days, and didn't have an issue at all. So Friday I decided that I wanted a stuffed crust pizza with breadsticks, which was fine. So when I arrived it was a little wait, no big deal since they were busy, but for the gal in the blue hair automatically expecting me to pick up an to-go order, was silly of her since she didn't asked. The couple that came in behind me literally walked out. After being seated she took my drink order, went and got the drink that I ordered, and then when she came back she took my order. I told her that I would like the stuffed crust Hawaiian pizza with a side of breadsticks. She asked me what size of pizza and I had to tell her that they only come in large. (Per menu) Then she comes back 10-15 minutes later with cheese sticks and asked if I ordered them, I politely said no, I ordered breadsticks. At that point I figured that she might be new and it was busy so I was trying to be understanding. So I stayed and waited for what I had ordered, it came out just fine. read more

Man do I absolutely despise writing bad reviews! But when you see a 1 star you know it's bad! For starters it took the staff a good 10 minutes to realize there was two sets of customers waiting in the store. Mind you the customer portion of the store is maybe 20 square feet! There was a young lady who was sweet enough ask the woman seated on one of three or four waiting chairs if she had been helped. When she replied she was waiting she went to a young lady who walked in as she was greeting the first. I was not worried that she skipped me but it was the manager that got me majorly upset. She, while I had been waiting to even be acknowledged, began to get overly sassy and rude to the customer who was being helped. Not because of anything the customer did but because the order she placed, a pepperoni personal pizza which was incorrectly made as a supreme pizza. Absolutely NO customer service what so ever in this place and quite frankly I would be happy to see the manager reprimanded if not fired for her rude and obscenely uncourteous demeanor in which she handled the mistake HER STAFF MADE! Are you kidding me?! I would have lost it had it been my order mistakenly wrong and been made the wrong doer by the manager! Ugh I honestly feel bad for the staff. Needless to say after waiting for about 20 minutes without being greeted or even seen as alive I left unhappy. I love the pizza here but have had too many bad experiences here. This was my last visit. Serpicos down the road is much more amazing and much better to their customers! AND the pizza is phenomenal! read more
