I am glad I didn't have the same bad experience as the last reviewer. I just wanted a pizza on a Sunday for lunch. I drove past on the way to a local/ non chain place only to discover they were not open on Sundays. I should have remembered this from my last visit to town trying to find a decent pizza. Pizza Hut it was. I called a little bit before 11, not realizing that technically they were not open yet. I was plesantly surprised when they actually answered the phone and took an order with no hesitation. Told me it would be about 10 mins, and since I was close I just deceided to go to their parking lot to wait. I lost track of time messing with my phone and suddenly there was a knock on my window. Did you call in a pick up order? It's ready for you. I thought that was kind of nice, it was -4 outside after all. I'd visit here again. read more

I love pizza and there's not a whole lot of choices for pizza delivery in Norwalk so I'll surely be calling on Pizza Hut to satisfy my pie needs in the future. That being said they've let me down a few times. They seem to run out of stuff quite often. I haven't gotten chips for my taco pizza 2 different times, they ran out of Alfredo sauce for a pizza I ordered once and they didn't have Pepsi in stock for one of my orders. Seriously? Lol. Luckily they make up for it with tasty pizza when they do have everything I order and they have pretty good deals as well. I'm part of the Pizza Hut rewards and points do build up fairly fast to earn free breadsticks and pizzas! And as we all know free pizza is the best pizza! read more

We ordered online on a Wednesday and the estimated wait time was 10-15 minutes and I received and email saying it will be ready at 7:15. My husband, stopped to pick it up at 7:15 and waited for 30 minutes in the drive-up lane 3 cars deep. He finally was able to back out because the car behind him left and he parked to go inside. He picked up our order, and when he got home we discovered one of our pizza boxed was completely empty. Yes, empty. The employee told me "Well I asked him if he wanted to check them and he said it was alright" I informed them again that he had already waited 30 minutes in the drive up and was just trying to get home after work. They then told me "Oh I noticed that pizza was still here right after he left, and I was going to call but just didn't." Ummm???? The only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the manager rectified the situation when I drove the empty box back to the store. She said she will provide a refund so we'll see if that happens... I know they were short staffed this night, so I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after reading some other reviews, it seems lengthy wait times is a common occurrence at this location. I'm not sure where this issue stems from; management, ownership, corporate or otherwise, but it is very frustrating when there are already limited options in Norwalk for restaurants. read more

It's Pizza Hut so nothing I write about their food is going to be revolutionary. The problem with this place is that they are always screwing up orders. I don't know how a small town PH can screw up so bad but they do, and it runs the gamut of different errors. Items missing, wrong items (especially when it comes to wings), and today which prompted me to write a review, raw chicken wings. I was astonished as to how my order got to me so fast, well, it's easy to do when the wings haven't been in the fryer long enough. I will say this, they do correct themselves and give credits and get replacement items out ASAP, but that's not the point. The customer wants it right the first time, not the second. And especially unforgivable is undercooked food. Not only is it an inconvenience, it's a safety issue. Hopefully I don't get Salmonella infection within the next day or two. Anyway, I've tried giving these guys enough slack, but its not worth it anymore. Other chains from south Des Moines will deliver to Norwalk and Casey's in town does too. So unless you have your heart fixed on something specific from Pizza Hut my advice for the Norwalk location is simple, move on. It's not worth the hassle. read more

Hit or miss, friendly enough staff, problem is the pizza is good some days, and some days it really isn't. Not sure they even add extra toppings when you order it that way either, and if they do, it ruins most of the crust I think; card board comes to mind. Pizza Hut is mediocre pizza to begin with, but I won't be getting pizza from the Pizza Hut in Norwalk EVER again. We had a coupon, otherwise we would've just went to Casey's. First off, our order was wrong, and second, my husband said when I went in (he stayed in the car) he could see back into the prep area, and 2 of the 3 employees were eating toppings off of already cooked pizzas! And to add to that, they were sticking their fingers IN their mouths and would go back and grab more toppings off the pizzas! I was HORRIFIED when we told me what happened and because we're nice people, we just went home with the pizzas and didn't confront them (they were older teens, or early 20's and wouldn't have done anything about it anyway). As I said, it's a new low for Pizza Hut, and I will not be going back to the Norwalk location ever again, I'll just stick to Casey's. read more

I agree with the other reviewers. The Pizza Hut in norwalk should be shut down. We ordered a pizza from there and thank god my two young children didn't eat it but there was a Stainless steel machine screw cooked into our pizza! Yes a Screw with a sharp point on it. We took the pizza back and told them about it and all they did was give us our money back! I wouldn't eat there for anything! Safety isn't a concern of theirs. They don't care about their customers safety at all! STAY AWAY FROM THERE!! Go to Casey's!!! read more
