Saturday.Night June 29th had ordered one pizza from this location and picked it up around 10pm. Was visiting from Colorado and this was what was open Paid $28 and change for the pizza. 24 hours later I get a notification from my bank informed the transaction has been updated to $33 and change. I did not leave a tip did not authorize a tip as I drove over picked up my order and ate at my hotel. this is theft and complete shady business practice. Make sure you 0 out the tip area and write the number on the bottom line so this doesn't happen to you as well. read more

They had salad bars for buffet but it's closed due to covid protocols I guess. Pizza dough way to thick, was raw dough on the inside, way to much cheese, made it very greasy. When she placed it on the counter to give me it clunked. Sounded very heavy. We were making a quick stop to gas up, get food and get back on the road. I really wanted a hot meal. I ended up throwing it out as we left the town already. read more

Former Favorite. We had just gotten into town and were meeting family there at about 5:15 for dinner. We were told that we couldn't eat there because the dining room was closed. There was no obvious reason to have it closed other than laziness. We ordered 2 large pepperoni lovers pan pizzas, but when we got home, they turned out to be 2 hand tossed plain pepperoni pizzas. The lady running the register with her faced all pierced up was obviously not happy to be working there and was slightly rude and seemed put off that she had to do her job. This Pizza Hut used to be a respectable and enjoyable place to enjoy a pizza. I grew up in this town and am sad to see what it has turned into because of poor management and lazy employees. When I have to pay over $70 for 2 pizzas, I really expect, at the very least, decent service and quality food. That has not been the case this time, nor the past few visits at this location. Wow, this is probably the best Pizza Hut I have ever been to. We had the Buffett and I can't find anything wrong with our meal. The salad bar was clean fresh and delicious. The pizzas were hot fresh and tasted incredible, in the time we were there, the pizza bar was always filled with fresh pizza, I was just amazed. For a final note this could not have happened without a great staff. From what I saw they all worked hard to maintain these high standards. Kudos-to you all. A special thanks to our server Daniel who always made sure we were taken care of. I have never seen a pizza place, especially a chain restaurant with those standards. Ok, I gave my other day visit 5 stars because it was amazing!!! Tonight was just the opposite. Where to begin. First off, when we got there they were a bit busy. Just to say, my pizza was excellent. That's the plus. Our salad bar experience was horrible. The lettuce was wilted and some of the lettuce was frozen. Salad bar was poorly stalked and it really needed to be cleaned/filled. The final straw was my wife and son's pizza. When they brought the pizza it looked great, but as they began to eat it the noticed a strange sweetness to the pizza. It turns out they used a pizza tray that had frosting on it from a previous dessert order. They don't clean there pizza trays? What a disappointment. read more

Of all the Pizza Huts I've eaten at, this one is the best. The staff is friendly, quick, and do a great job. Their lunch buffet is great, and always has variety. Probably the best pizza in Newcastle, which isn't saying alot, but its good. My favorite is the thin crust pepperoni! read more

I ordered food online for delivery where I work; 2 1/2 hours later I called them an got a calling tree and had to call 3 times to get through to find out they took my food to the wrong address then marked it as undeliverable as they called my home number instead of my cell phone or business phone numbers that are both attached to the address. This is the last time I will be ordering from them as they have messed up several of my last few orders. People make mistakes I get that but this is the last one in a string of many. It's your typical pizza hut. Usually the help is changed more often than some people's undergarments so you will not have a consistent experience from one week to the next as far as food quality. Chef's are poorly trained as to what the toppings actually are for each pizza. The pies you get here will most likely not taste anything like the ones you get where you live. The service can be great, but often some of the staff are in bad moods and don't want to thank you...after all, they are doing you a favor by attending to you... other than that, it's a relatively safe place to eat in Newcastle... read more
