    Full taco salad

Small town diner in the middle of an area lacking many dining options. Diners were locals - you could tell because everyone seemed to know each other. Friendly and fast staff. We had the taco salad and a cheeseburger deluxe. Both were good and we left with full bellies. We took a slice of apple pie to go so we could enjoy it later. The pies are home made by the owner!

Really good! Server was nice and everything came out fast. I realllyyy had a craving for a chocolate malt/milkshake + cheeseburger and this hit the spot. Cute moose themed decor. Cheeseburger was good, malt was good, fries could be better (but I'm just biased against crinkle cut).

This is a gem of a quaint, local restaurant we found while going through town. The service is fast and the food was good. I'd recommend eating here if you're in town!

Best stop in Upton Wyoming for good cooking and a smile. See menu. Just go!! Now! Great breakfast but stops at 11am. Shrimp salad is my favorite.

If you are looking for a great meal don't drive by this place. The menu has fantastic selections, the service was so personable. Food was delicious. The dining room is very cool fun decor. We will eat here again for sure.

On a road trip, and we stopped at this great little diner for breakfast. Very good breakfast and fast, friendly service!

Amazing Cinnamon Roll. The best I tried.

I was there in summer 2014 for a quick stop; had drinks and remember the cinnamon roll. Nice people and tasty food :)

Had dinner here (chicken sandwich) and breakfast the next morning (sausage biscuit sandwich with gravy) and both were fantastic.

My wife ordered the Chicken Primavera with gluten free penne, featuring grilled chicken, pesto, and carrots. It was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked well and was also very good. As always, we put restaurants through a bit of a stress test. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, while I manage Alpha Gal syndrome, a tree nut allergy, and diabetes. The kitchen was able to accommodate the gluten free pasta request, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is one of the restaurant's biggest strengths. The historic building and the old photographs covering the walls make for a fun dining experience and really add to the character of the place. Service was just okay. Nothing was wrong, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. One thing worth knowing before you go: the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge for credit card payments, so if you'd rather avoid the extra fee, bring cash. Overall, we will probably pick something else a try if we return to Deadwood. Worth it if you are heading there just for the historic atmosphere. It's a great stop if you're spending time in Deadwood.

While in SD I figured this was the perfect time to try and real bison steak and I did. You can tell it was not beef but it was delicious. The loaded baked potato was also delicious. Their signature cocktail menu included many different options. If you're ever in Deadwood, I highly suggest stopping by there. The service is also amazing.

I had the Walleye Chermoula, and all I can say is...wow. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the subtle North African spices in the chermoula complemented the walleye without overpowering it. It was one of the best dishes I had on the entire trip. As always, we travel with a long list of dietary restrictions. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, while I manage Alpha Gal syndrome, a tree nut allergy, and diabetes. Our server was outstanding. I didn't write down her name, but she took the time to understand our food sensitivities, answered our questions, and made sure we were comfortable with our meal choices. The attentive service really elevated the experience. The restaurant has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. It would work well for a casual business lunch or dinner, and families with small children should feel comfortable here as well. Its location is another plus. It's just off the main tourist area in downtown Custer, making it easy to walk to after exploring the shops, and there is convenient parking nearby. This was an easy five stars for us. If you're near Custer, Custer Wolf should be on your short list. Highly recommended.

When I went inside to the bar to pick up my order, there were two male bartenders working. After standing there for a while, I finally spoke up and let him know I was there to pick up a takeout order, and he then assisted me. We ordered the bulgogi dish. It was decent, though it was more of a stir-fry than the traditional bulgogi I was expecting. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't stand out enough that I would make a point of returning.

Carbonara sauce is rich and loaded with bacon pancetta peppers peas etc. Just one note to ask your server about the egg served on top. I didn't want that option. My husband had the 6 oz filet. Always excellent with mashed garlic potatoes and veggies. New wine menu too! We usually save room for dessert but not last night. Their cheesecake or bread pudding are our favorites. Next time!
