Airport food can be hit or miss, so I wasn't expecting much, but this definitely exceeded my expectations. It felt like an actual sit-down dining experience rather than just grabbing something quickly before boarding. Great option if you have time before your flight and want a proper meal instead of the usual airport fast food. I'd definitely stop here again next time I'm flying out of Philly!

America's Pie is not just a pizza place, despite its name including "pie" and having some artwork…read morethat would imply that it is. Let me repeat...America's Pie is NOT just a pizza place, and while their pizza is absolutely wonderful, it is in the raw selection and quality of that broad selection that makes this place freaking outstanding. I have had the opportunity to order food from here several times over the last several years and they have one of the most unique "pizza shop" restaurant menus out there and even have a massive selection of tacos that you can pick from. I have had several opportunities to write my review of this spot, but it wasn't until I discovered something very special here that finally drove me to write my full opinion. My most recent visit to America's Pie was one born of laziness. Everyone at home wanted something different and we didn't want to cook, so we were simply looking at places that would be easy that we don't order from that often and landed here. The menu is so large that I was being indecisive and that was when I saw it...all the way at the bottom of the sandwiches section, what I have now identified as one of the top three sandwiches I have ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of sandwiches: the Tony Bourdain. A strange combination of ingredients, all delicious and savory in their own right, brought together to create a bread-borne experience unlike few, if any, that I have ever had before. This seriously is one of, if not, THE BEST sandwiches that I have ever had. It is not what it looks like, or the way it is constructed that makes it so good. What makes it so amazing is the absolutely mastery and command of the knowledge of the ingredients, the quality of those ingredients, and their interaction together on the flavors they will produce when combined within the very high quality seeded roll that it all comes neatly packed within. It is not a pretty, easy to eat and clean sandwich. It gets everywhere, and it is worth it. You SHOULD get this sandwich, for the culinary perfection, but also to honor the late Anthony Bourdain. This is definitely a meal that properly honors the man and his legacy. America's Pie isn't perfect but it is one of the best pizza/sandwich/pasta places in my area of Delco. Hands down. The specialty sandwiches really take it to the next level and that Tony Bourdain shoots them into the stratosphere. You will never have a bad meal here. They are local people making great food, with a local but very friendly attitude, and want you to enjoy everything you order. Explore the menu and check them out. I made a pledge to work my way through the sandwich menu just because that sandwich was so damn good and I am excited about every single one that I check off that list. Can't wait to bump into you there!

Love the onions and the mayo. The lettuce , tomato and cheese gets totally lost because of all the meat. It's a messy cheesesteak so be prepared lol I just feel the meat to topping/cheese ratio , isn't right. This is MY personal opinion. Would I come here again? Probably. I got the regular size and I shared it with someone. The other one which is like twice or even three times as big, could probably feed 3-4 people. I though that was really cool. Place is nice, a lot of outdoor seating. Friendly service upon arrival was nice too.

The first time I walked in for take out, the girl at the counter and the delivery guy were extremely helpful recommending menu items. It was so refreshing to hear their passion and excitement for their food offerings! Their menu is pretty well rounded, several types of burgers, chicken sandwiches, pizza's etc. It's an extensive menu. The owner, who was manning the pizza oven, was nice enough to let me try a fresh garlic knot which was very tasty! I went with a cheesesteak the first time which was on a fresh Amoroso roll. The sandwich came out quick and was one the of top 10 Delco cheesesteaks I have had. Light grease/clean roll, nice cheese to meat ratio, sliced meat but not chopped too fine, meat was seasoned and had nice flavor. The portion size was just right and the roll was definitely fresh. I added some hot peppers for extra flavor and kick. Second order was delivery, we had a Sicilian pizza delivered to the office. It was a solid offering. Lightly sweet sauce, fresh cheese and just the right thickness. I will have to try some of their other pizza offerings as well. Third order was a take out Cheeseburger. The 8 oz of Angus beef could have used some seasoning, but the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, hot peps, mustard and ketchup toppings helped relieve the lack of beef flavor. The brioche roll they had it on was soft, fresh and fantastic. It was big portion. They are a little out of the way for me, but worth the trip to enjoy more of their menu. Definitely check these guys out!

We decided to try them (simply because we'd eaten their food from another location). I ordered a Large Cheese Pizza with Extra Cheese for him and a Turkey Club for me. I requested NO tomatoes on my sandwich. The total came to $19.95. Cool, no problem. Delivery was quick ~30 minutes. Delivery person was nice and I tipped him appropriately ($5). However, when I opened my container for my sandwich, there were tomatoes on it. I specifically requested that there be no tomatoes. I'm not petty, so I plucked them off. Next time, I might just yell about how much I hate tomatoes to get my point across OR I'll send the food back to send a very PETTY message about getting people's orders correctly. With all of that, we still enjoyed the food and will probably order from them again.

The staff can be rough if you aren't sure of what you want, but generally nice when you arrive for pickup. The menu has all of your typical pizza shop offerings. On my visits I have ordered pizza, wings and cheesesteaks. The pizza is cooked on a conveyor oven. They offer pork and beef pepperoni. The pizza is very generic and simple, greasy pepperoni, stringy cheese with a tangy sauce. The dough wasn't chewy, but wasn't great. The large looks a bit small. The plain cheese pizza was similar to the pepperoni with obviously less grease. The wings were a good size, hot wing sauce was tasty and the meat was fresh. I would say that was the best of the three items I tried. You can get them in an order of 6 and up. The cheesesteak comes on an Amoroso roll. Those are often on the chewy side. I would ask for the roll to be crispy next time. The meat is finely chopped, with some grease and an ok amount of cheese. I think some extra cheese would do them better. Hot peppers were your plain old banana yellows. Overall I give this shop an OK. It's your average shop with fast service.
