They were thinner than a pancake, so crispy & well done they had big pieces broken off in the burger. The taste was so salty it was not able to be eaten. I could not even wash it down with water so I could keep eating it despite the fact I was very hungry at dinner time as this was my only meal of the day. The fries were somehow soggy in the middle and too well done on the edge. The sodas we got only tasted like carbonated water and had no flavor like it should have. Eating out is a rare treat for us so I was disappointed that we could not eat out food and enjoy it. Instead, we threw out the burgers, barely ate but a few fries, and tossed the soda, then made sanwiches at home for our dinner!

Something told me to check my food before leaving. He didn't add the pickles, onions, or mayo but gave me wilted lettuce and soft tomatoes. He threw the pickles on, I received a side cup of onions and mayo packets. Didn't bother to cut my sandwich either. I felt disappointed and dismissed while others after me were treated pleasantly. The past several times I have gotten food at Five Guys, my burger patties were smashed flatter than pancakes, they were bland, the toppings were not good as they were wilted small pieces of lettuce, and the condiments were almost non-existent. The wait was ridiculous because the workers were not doing their jobs as much as they were goofing off laughing or complaining. They half-listened to orders and kept asking for them repeatedly because they were too busy goofing off with people behind them while they were taking them so it kept getting rung up wrong. When the order came, the food had been thrown into the bag spilling the badly loosely wrapped burgers. The whole ordered but one burger was ruined! The fries were overly cooked and gross. The salt was not there at all. It tasted like burnt cardboard. They were all over the bag on top of the spilled burger pieces and they had just gotten tossed in there after being in the fryer so the grease in them dripped all over and soaked into the burgers. It not the only experience like that. Unfortunately, we have had several. At times, some of the staff wraked of pot too. This was a real problem for me because I have a severe allergy to that. I had to lay laid out for a whole day after due to the exposure while waiting for our food. It was horrible. The bag and food smelled like it too! We couldn't eat it. I realized it when we got home and had to throw it out in the garage.
