We had a big party go in for my sons 4th Bday dinner. Our server was Riley. Tall blonde young lady. Said she was going through nursing school. She was great from start to finish. Cracking jokes, talking as if she was part of the family she fit right in. She fit every aspect of the job. Her service was great, always kept in touch with us about drinks and our food order. I visit this Hooters during the lunch hours or before 3pm on Mondays or Wednesdays because they have buy 10 get 10 wings. And I'm thankful I'm lucky enough to see/be served by Brittany every time I go and have fresh, hot, crispy, and saucy wings. I've been going to hooters for years and some things I miss that they use to have on the menu, but the addition of General Tso and Sweet Sriracha sauces have been well received in my home. My 7 year old even enjoys the Hot Honey on her boneless wings. I'm happy that I've had good experiences. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would, Today wasn't the best of days for me but this visit honestly helped boost my mood. Jada our server was amazing, she smiled from the time she greeted us at the door until the time we left , I even asked her to surprise me with a wing choice and she did that with a smile and chose those awesome tasting General wings. The food was a solid 15/10 those cooks really put their necks, and auntie elbows into that. The chicken was nice & hot and even crispy with all the sauce all over them. We drove 35 minutes from Wood River, Il to get have dinner the closest one to us is about 20 minutes the service or food have never been this good and that's no shade to them. Initially ordered 2 sets of wings and 2 fries for delivery through Uber Eats. The bag was stapled shut and was not tampered with since leaving the restaurant, but when we received the order there was only one order of each. Called the restaurant and spoke with the MOD Paul who apologized for the inconvienence, but other that that was not any help. Said we could dispute with Uber, which I had already done before calling. Uber had issued a refund for the missing items. Still there are multiple individuals requiring food, so Paul said we could just reorder. Which I did. This time just 1 order of wings and 1 order of fries. Again this new order and bag was stapled shut and had not been tampered with since leaving the restaurant, but when we received the delivery order this time the order of fries was not included. One of the nicer Hooters I have visited. Big and spacey, clean and fresh. A good amount of staff makes your orders come out really fast. I like that they have a lot of big TVs as well, no matter where you are seated you will have a good view. It's seems to be a lot of regulars coming here, I felt like I was the only guest not known by at least half the staff. Food was smoking hot and perfectly prepared. I do think that Hooters is one of the absolute best places to go for chicken wings #wingpicky and when they are served like this it just makes me grin! My favorite sauce is the Three Mile Island, spicy enough to make your taste buds curl but not so spicy that you need milk to calm them down. What a disappointment. We stopped by at 5:45 on Sunday afternoon-yes there were NFL games- but the place was NOT full. Plenty of waitresses -- enough for some to be sitting at a table when we were waiting be seated- and it was a disaster! I signed up for the app, waited for a coupon for a free appetizer- it never showed up. Our server had to ask a manager for help. He said, "I got you," which is great, but neither of them seemed to know what our options were. We got mozz sticks; fine, whatever. We were halfway through out sticks bf our server came back for our food order. She was nice and said we could have 15 of one flavor and 5 of another. Nice. Then we waited. And waited and waited. And waited. It took 55 minutes to get 20 chicken wings. We were ONE minute away from leaving when they showed up. And then, guess what. The 6 mild originals were cold. What's more likely to happen though is like the past THREE times we've tried to visit this "establishment", you will stand at the entrance waiting and not be seated. Been to one Hooters you've pretty much been to them all! The food is decent. The beer selection is good and always cold. The sights, always appealing. What distinguishes one Hooters from any other, is usually the ambiance, the attitude and the overall management. The Fairview Heights Hooters is well managed and is constantly running events that reflect the locale! This is not a place to be if you're not a Cardinals fan! However, that being said, if there's one thing I absolutely hate about this Hooters is, they claim to be home of the 618 (area code) Dallas Cowboys Fan Club! Not a big fan of the Cowboys, so I don't go near this place on Sundays/Mondays when Dallas is playing. This used to be one of the smallest Hooters in the chain. A number of years ago, they purchased the property next door, knocked out walls and expanded the joint. In the additional room they gained, almost every usable inch of every wall is covered with a flat screen television. With their satellite connection, it makes this Hooters a great place to catch sports of literally any venue! A couple of years ago, in response to the explosion of wing-specialty joints, Hooters reengineered their menu, adding a few items, but most importantly, adding new wing flavors! The usual sauces are still there, but a few new ones, such as the Garlic Parmesan, and the Lemon Pepper are real nice additions! They have a great beer selection to wash the hot wings down with! The beer is always served ice-cold, and by a beautiful young lady with a smile on her face. Geez, what more can a man ask for??? If I had anything negative to say about this (and most other Hooter's for that matter), is their rest rooms are so poorly cared for and maintained! I have a difficult time giving high ratings to any establishment that doesn't care enough about their customers to at least make an effort to present a clean rest room! I doubt the men's room in this Hooter's sees more than a once-a-week cleaning! If you ever want that fourth or fifth star from me, you need to do a lot better in this category! Hooters. I read through the other reviews while waiting for our food. So first and foremost the service was spot on. Food was made as ordered. Cheyenne was attentive and does her job very well. Made sure everything was good. It's always nice to have experienced staff helping during a meal. Wings, shrimp, fries, tots and fried pickles. No complaints at all. When you have three boys that are squirrelly the meal is already a challenge but this Location is good at making sure they do thier part to get you fed. I will say the staff is more on par with a local bar than the "calender" types. But I like Hooters menu so, that is simply an observation of being away from "my" Hooters staff. My main thing I focus on is the service and the cleanliness of the establishment. This Hooters can use some work in the cleanliness department, when it comes to the restrooms. However, other then that the service was good despite the bartenders and cooks kept yelling at the servers to come get hot food and drinks out of the window. I know it's Hooters..... so you are not here for exquisite service.....but when you are here for several hours watching the UFC fights and the place is packed with lots of food and drinks being ordered (this means lots of $$$$ for the waitresses) you would think there would be 1 in the bunch with a smile on their face. What a bunch of miserable girls they have at this location. Either they hired poor choices or the management is so bad everyone is miserable. My family and I ate at this Hooters over the weekend. Overall we were happy with our food. The wings we ordered were good, but were a little puny for a restaurant famous for wings. At our table we also ordered curly fries, fried pickles, and the mac n cheese. The fried pickles were amazing like always, the mac n cheese was good, but looked nothing like the mac n cheese pictured in their menu. The curly fries were just okay, but I'm always surprised by how this chain has not been able to produce a better French fry. They never taste salted and aren't crispy at all, but they've always been that way. Our drinks we ordered were not good at all. I ordered the house margarita and someone else ordered a flavored margarita. They were both very sweet. We did not send them back because we sat by the bar because it took a long time to get them in the first place. Maybe it was just a new bartender. Our server was very nice and attentive, but there were a lot of servers just standing around the hostess stand. Some of them just pulled up chairs to the hostess stand and were hanging out and putting on makeup. That was kinda strange, but not necessarily an issue since our service was good. It was apparent that a lot of the servers get ready for their shift at work, because when I used the bathroom, there were hair straighteners and curlers sitting on the sink unplugged. I used to come here quite often for their Wednesday lunch special when I worked nearby. This is the first time I've been back in well over a year now and was happy to see that they still had their special. I dropped in with some coworkers to watch the end of the USA vs. France World Cup game. I arrived after my friends but put my order in and it was brought out rather quickly. One of my friends was not so lucky however, needless to say his order was lost so he received his food quite a bit later. The manager on staff comp'd his meal though so I thought that was fair. I ordered the lunch special with their three mile sauce. The lunch special consists of 10 boneless wings and fries for $5.99. That's pretty good considering that normally just 10 boneless wings costs a couple bucks more. They were cooked just right and had the right amount of sauce on them. My only gripe is that they charge $2.49 for a soft drink. I don't understand why restaurants are charging so much for a fountain drink. I can go to a local gas station and get a 44oz fountain drink for $.75 with tax. So why do restaurants change you 3X that for your drink with your meal. They also charge that for iced tea. Now that to me is crazy as all you need is water and tea bags. Anyway, I won't be back anytime soon, but that has nothing to do with the food or the service I've always received at this Hooters. read more

Very disappointed in service and food! Waited to long for server to acknowledge and take our order. Five tables were seated and received food before us. Our server came to our table only four times. That included presentation of the check. We never saw a manager and the establishment was only half full with plenty of servers talking to other tables. Good greasy bar staples like wings and appetizers done consistently. The crab legs are probably the best value on the menu. Generally the seafood tends to be better here than the wings. I've been missing the oysters though since the Gulf situation started. While they have a lot of TVs, somehow it is still possible to not have a good view of any of them from a lot of seats here so if you really want to watch a game it is something to take into consideration. read more

I have been to a much better Hooters, that would be the one in Destin, FL where I lived before moving out here. We were looking forward to some good food. Unfortunately, this did not live up to my previous experience and standards. Our waitress did not pay much attention to our table. It took about 30 minutes to get our food from the time we placed our order. At least 30 minutes. Upon receiving the food and excited to try something else, I was sorely disappointed, It was way over cooked and not worth eating. I had heard something about the owner being very lax. I hadn't been to a Hooters in years. I ordered a buffalo chicken strip salad with blue cheese dressing. It was just fine but nothing out of the ordinary.
