About a week later, I also ordered another mixed sushi platter with egg rolls for our family's gathering and it was also a hit. The only negative is that the egg rolls wasn't very crunchy. Could be due to condensation from delivery. Fix this and it will be perfect. I love all the options to choose from so you can get what you like/love. Yoma Cafe made things easy for us to enjoy a party by arranging such beautiful and delicious platters at very reasonable prices. Service and ambiance always friendly and helpful. Located on Irving and 16th Ave.

We ordered a chicken katsu sandwich $7.99, a 8 pieces chirashi bowl and 2 drinks for $55+. The katsu sandwich was good. Chicken was thin but i liked the crunch. Basically a deep fried piece of breaded thin chicken with lots of greens and some carrots. The 8 pieces of chirashi was indistinguishable from one another even though they were all different fish. The avocado shake and the iced coffee hit the spot after the long hike. Service was very good. Despite being super busy with takeout, the lady came by to check on us. Because of the long backlog, she gave us edamame while we waited for our food.

I mean you're paying for cheap and convenience, so I don't understand why people are complaining. If you want better food then eat at another dine-in local restaurant or cook your own food, in my opinion, of course. Don't want to offend people - we are a sensitive bunch in SF. As always if you can afford to do so, a dollar tip goes a long way for these minimum wage workers. Being cheap is kind of a turn off :/ Recommend with my utmost respectful regards if you're trying to buy cheap to go food.

Deal ($20) x2 *6 pc. Chicken Only x2 *Cole Slaw x2 *Mac & Cheese *Secret Recipe Fries *Mashed Potatoes x2 *Gravy x2 *4 Biscuits x2 Sauces *Hot Sauce x4 *KFC Sauce ($0.29) *Comeback Sauce ($0.29) I was watching a TV show and they were eating KFC. I am easily influenced when it comes to food. So when it was time to have dinner with the hubby, I suggested fried chicken. He was down, so I found a spot on the way home from SJ to SF. The app predicted it would take about 25 mins to prepare, but when I placed the order, they said it would only take like 10-15 mins, so I guess around that time at night, no need to leave ample time for takeout. I got two of their taste of KFC meals. I didn't know this at the time, but they are individual sides, so the smaller ones. I would advise against doing mash and gravy as separate sides. The mash was sooooo tiny. And the gravy container was larger than the mash. Feels like it should be swapped as you should have more potatoes than gravy no? The chicken was as expected. I got one bucket spicy and one reg. I likes the spicier one more since the batter wasn't as thick. There were not a lot of options for KFC along 280 closer to SF, so I'm glad this one is open late night. REVIEW #3788

I grew up with this place, and it's been a constant in my life for decades. My extended Chinese family loves it just as much, and it's still one of our go-to places when we're ordering burritos for dinner at my parents' house. I've been ordering the El Bronco burrito since I was a teenager, and to this day it's still my favorite. It's hearty, comforting, and consistently delicious. The chile colorado beef deserves special mention--it's rich, deeply flavored, and slow-cooked the way it should be. You can tell the food is made fresh and with care, not rushed or mass-produced. One of the things that really sets El Burrito Express apart from a lot of taquerias in San Francisco is the quality of the ingredients. Everything tastes fresh and clean--no heavy grease, no weird aftertaste. The rice is fluffy, the beans are well seasoned, and the meats are always satisfying. I also appreciate the variety here. Whether you're craving carne asada, carnitas, pollo, chile verde, chile colorado, or even vegetarian options, there's something for everyone. The tortillas are warmed properly, the burritos are wrapped well, and you actually feel full after eating one. And let's not forget the chips and salsa--they're always a welcome bonus and make the meal feel complete. The space itself is small and very much a grab-and-go kind of place, but that's part of its charm. It's a true neighborhood institution, run by people who know what they're doing and have been doing it for a long time. There's something comforting about walking in and knowing exactly what you're going to get--and knowing it's going to be good. El Burrito Express isn't trendy, flashy, or trying to reinvent anything. It's just consistently good, affordable, authentic food made with care. After all these years, it's still one of my favorite places to eat in the city--and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
