This place was a 10/10 service so nice idk why they have bad reviews ! Only 3 workers which I understand why "service is bad" but it's not. Hard working people super nice and friendly food was a 100000/10 im such a Indian food girl and this was some gooooood food

Vegetarian pizza, chicken, tikka, rice, dal, garlic, naan

Friends and I were planning to take in a show at the riptide and were pleasantly surprised to find this Indian/Italian/pizza restaurant only a few doors over. My wife is vegetarian and Indian so this made an easy choice of place. You order at the counter and then you can take a seat at one of the 6 or so tables in the front. Mostly this is a takeout/delivery place for pizza. We started with the Greek salad Which is chopped iceberg, lettuce and tomato and probably some onion and feta cheese, but no anchovy strip. The dressing was pretty good. For the meat eaters we got the chicken, tikka without the masala sauce. This consists of chunks of chicken that have been spiced in a yogurt sauce and cooked on a skewer. Often, this can be too dry for my taste, but these were nicely moist. You can choose rice or naan-and we chose rice and naan. Also comes with daal. For the pizza we chose the vegetarian which is onion and greens and broccoli. I was not very confident in the broccoli as an ingredient, but it was OK. Instead of tomato sauce they have a masala sauce, which is a little too runny for my taste. I think they should try to thicken that a little maybe with a little tomato paste or flour. The crust is not a crispy pizza crust. It is more like a naan. Soft and fluffy. At the end of it all we were so full! They also have a number of pasta dishes, which I'd be really curious to try as I bet they're good. Meat lasagna, and pasta Alfredo, for example The ambience is very simple. This is a neighborhood hole on the wall. They do a steady delivery business as well as carry out.

I have in the past ordered directly and via DoorDash where I have picked up my orders and had a good experience given the base price was the same. Today I wanted to put in an order for a Pizza via DoorDash at 3pm, but did a double take on the price. Between today, and my last order there is now a 33% price difference between the in House $29+ , and DoorDash $39+. It is now absurd ordering anything here via DoorDash.

Still my favorite pizza place after 30+ years! Every time I bite into that fluffy crust it takes me back to my high school days. My child also loves their pizza!

Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza - 14" Medium

This was my first time trying Indian-fusion pizza and I'm glad I tried it from an establishment that's been doing it since the 80's! I got the chicken tikka masala pizza and It was everything I imagined. The sauce accompanied with the tender grilled chicken and cheese was perfection. I found it didn't need any extra accoutrements like parmesan or chili flakes. The mango lassi was refreshing and hit the spot. Service was great and the ambiance was homey with all the historical SF pictures lining the walls.

Hole in the wall spot makes great pizza and chicken wings :) parking can be hit and miss but usually a spot shows up eventually. The service is swift. They have more menu items including Indian food and other appetizers. We ordered a large combination pizza and hot wings. Excellent food.

This is a place which brings back the feeling of old San Francisco. A place not forgotten and the taste of old San Francisco lives on by the beach. Growing up in the Mission I use to go to Zantes Pizza which reminds a bit of Brothers Pizza. The pizza at Brothers stays tasty and consistent. This type of pizza is my jam: Thick, Cheesy, and Saucy with Flavor.

Came here after playing pickleball in the inner sunset. Parking was pretty easy to find on a street near by. Initially I thought the price by the slice was expensive but I ordered the vegetarian slice and it was bigger than my head :o They use curry instead or marinara which is pretty unique and the veggies I got were very refreshing. All the slices/ pizzas are made to order which means it takes a while but it's well worth the wait because it super fresh and hot when you get it!! Pro tip: check in on yelp and show it to the cashier for a discount!!

XL Chicken Tikka & Tandoori Combo = stacked! Other half: Brother's Special Pizza! Cup of parmesan for size comparison!
Michael Y.

This is a loaded pizza!! Toppings were stacked! I bit through layers of chicken in the Combo that included tandoori chicken along with tikka massala. Then on the other half of the pizza, the Brother's Special was also good with sizable chunks of sausage! Why haven't we tried them earlier? Pro tip: they have a check-in deal for either 20% off your order or $30 for $25 dine-in, and yep, we checked-in and ordered an XL pizza! It was the biggest pizza box I have picked up in a while! This is a legit pizza that the Ninja Turtles would approve of - probably Splinter too.

1/2 Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza & 1/2 Tandoori Chicken Pizza

Heard about this spot thanks to TikTok and was looking forward to trying this place for some time. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. While the concept of combing Indian with Italian seems interesting, I didn't find my particular order to live up to the expectations that I was hoping for. A lot of the tandoori chicken toppings came out dry and I personally felt that the crust was lacking as well.

Brother's Special Pizza

3.5 I placed an order online for a medium combo. I got there and can tell the pizza was ready early since it was just warm. The toppings were plentiful and the pizza tasted good! For the price and the amount of toppings, it reminded me of Costco size pizza but better. I have to say it's just a tad bit too oily for me. The leftovers tasted better than what we had on the first day. The pizza was also a little too soggy for my liking but my husband thought it was fine. Anyway, I'm happy to support a local business and can't wait to try their other items like the tandoori wings. If you ever trek inside the photos on the wall are pretty interesting.

I thought a place called Naan and Pizza was worth a try! And they JUST opened a month ago so we wanted to give them some business. My friends had Door Dashed a pizza but the delivery menu was much more limited so they were excited to go try it out in person. The restaurant is clean and decorated in a way that doesn't really point to the type of food they serve. But the tables were all laid out nicely. There are a TON of choices on the menu that are Indian-food focused. There were a variety of appetizers, Tandoori specials, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, seafood, biryani and appetizers. The pizza menu offered the classics (Hawaiian, garlic chicken), but also offered Tandoori chicken and Desi BBQ chicken. There were so many options it was a little overwhelming. We settled on the Goat Cheese Naan, Aloo Tikki Chat, Tandoori Chicken plate and Coconut Curry Chicken. EVERYTHING was delicious!! The naan was flavorful and came with a yummy dipping sauce. The Aloo Tikki Chat was something I've never eaten but it was delicious. The Tandoori chicken was a little dry for my liking. I took a big bite and it required some water to help me get it down. There wasn't a dipping sauce for it. The Coconut Curry Chicken was amazing. The chicken in that dish fell apart - it was so tender. And the rice that came with it was fluffy. I appreciated that the server came out and asked for the level of spice for the curry (my dish). I told him I could take some kick, but wanted to still be able to taste the food. There wasn't much spice to it, but that was okay, too, We were impressed overall. The portion sizes were great for the price. Everything is getting so expensive nowadays! You should definitely give this restaurant a try! They were empty when we came in on a Saturday night at 7 and we saw 2 to-go orders come through. They're just starting out so spread the word so that they get a genuine opportunity to make it!!

I got half Butter Chicken and half Palak Chicken on my pizza and it was delicious. Also, something about their crust was so good. It was chewy but it a good way and the crust wasn't overbearing. If I had any feedback though, I wish the flavors were more intense. I really wanted to be hit with the Indian flavors. But I'm assuming the toppings that they use are also what they serve as à la carte which I think the flavors get diluted when added with bread, cheese, and a bunch of other toppings. Also, I wish it was spicier! I got raita (yogurt sauce) on the side. I think all Indian Pizza places should serve raita on the side of their pizzas. I'll be coming back and trying their other pizzas.

We ordered the Goat Cheese Naan, Roti Calamari, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Game Hen, Kale Fritters, and Gosht Biryani. My favorite dish was actually the Kale Fritters, which surprised me since I usually gravitate toward meat dishes. They were perfectly crispy, and the sauce had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. My least favorite was the Tandoori Game Hen--it had a lot of bones and was a bit difficult to eat. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the variety of dishes we tried.

The menu has a good variety of appetizers, curries, chicken and vegetarian dishes, along with rice and naan. I made a few mistakes with ordering and that may have contributed to us not enjoying the food as much. I was worried about the level of spice for the dishes we ordered and requested mild and unfortunately majority the dishes were a bit bland. So, I'd likely request medium spicy next time. The momos were okay, although we did not enjoy the savory sauce that accompanied them. The tandoori mix platter was good and flavorful and had a good variety of meats. However, the naan was a bit underwhelming. We also did not enjoy the okra masala dish that we ordered. I definitely ordered too much food and we had a lot of leftovers. Service was friendly and attentive during our meal, although the food was less palatable. The restaurant is casual, fairly spacious and has a good amount of seating. Taste of India seems worth visiting again, but I'd definitely order less and choose different dishes next time. Also, parking by the restaurant is limited and it's street parking only, so you may need to circle around and find a spot on a nearby street.
