Thus far for me this is the best pizza spot in outer sunset. The pizza are baked perfectly the cheese is allowed to caramelize on tops and gives you that sharp taste of baked cheese the. Ive past this place multiple times for the last week. I've Decided to give it a try. No it's not round table but it is Donairo's. I like the taste of freshness for the reasonable price slice. You can taste the authenticity in every bite which any pizza lover would appreciate. Definitely better experience than my stones town blondes experience. Came here for a quick pizza by the slice , overall decent pizza . It's not that cheap cardboard taste but it's not the best pizza I've had either . Still on the hunt, but for the price for two slices and soda for 9.95 not bad at all. A small pizza would have been $18.85 and personally don't think that's worth it... read more

Donairo's is my go-to spot whenever I'm in the Richmond. The slices are massive, cheesy, and always fresh -- just real, delicious pizza. I met Mohamed, the owner, and his son Laith -- both of them are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home. You can tell it's a family-run place with a lot of heart behind it. Great place to order from! I've ordered from them regularly for various items such as personalized pizza, baked pasta dishes, wings, salads, and sides. They've all been great and quick to process the order for delivery/pick up. Ever since the stay at home in 2020, they've been my go to for pizza/Italian when I work from home. Dominario's Pizza absolutely breaks the rating scale. I came in expecting good pizza and left with happiness, full stomach, and faith in humanity restored. First off, the customer service is unreal. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Smiles, patience, and good vibes all around -- you can tell they actually care. The atmosphere is super chill and comfortable. Having a TV on makes it the perfect spot to relax, eat, and enjoy the moment whether you're hanging out with friends or just grabbing a slice for yourself. It feels cozy without being boring. And the pizza? Let's just say it deserves its own fan club. Fresh, tasty, and hits every single time. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night with twelve others. Didn't need a reservations but the place was busy and more than half of the 24 or so seats were taken. Many take out orders as well as walk-in and eat-ins. Only one server/worker who was doing his best to keep us with all of the orders. He did it all (greeted, took orders, cashier, chef and cleanup crew. The place and restroom was decently clean. We were happy with the food and the service. Will be returning and do recommend. read more

One full day in S.F. - lunch I just needed something to put down the hatch to tide me over. I have always had Pasquale's on Sloat filed away in my head, which has easy parking, and which my family and I found, and enjoyed, back in the day when Pasquale was running the show. It's still pretty decent, based on having gone in there a time or two, but they were also closed on the day I tried to go there. This turned out to be serendipitous. I found Donairo's. I looked on my phone for pizza and zeroed in on Donairo's, which got decent reviews and, most of all, sold slices. Also, doing anything in San Francisco that involves a car, and parking it, can be a real pain unless you're in its western half. Way out west in the Outer Richmond, and on Geary, parking could be found on a side street free of charge and a person could walk a block to buy some pizza. That's what I did. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza which was customized for me by adding mushrooms for a nominal upcharge. The crust was just how I like it - thin, but not thin enough to fall apart and not hold up the toppings. The price was probably just a tiny bit over what one might see in most cities, but fair for San Francisco-type overhead. Their pizza was very tasty and did tide me over. The manager or owner who took my order was very friendly. Their phone kept ringing for orders and eclectic neighborhood folks were coming in for entire pizzas. Donairo's has a good vibe all the way around. If I had a reason to come back, I would definitely drop by this eatery. And, with my rating, I'm pretty much echoing what the others are saying, albeit on a smaller scale, having opted for pizza on a by the slice basis. read more

My wife and I love the pizza so much at Donairo's that we enjoyed delivery from them two days in a row. My wife is vegetarian and we created a pizza with broccoli, olives and jalapeños with a thick crust. I had the Incredible Hulk with broccoli. spinach, Italian sausage and pesto. The toppings are IMHO generous and sooo delicious. We will definitely make Donairo's our favorite pizza go to! read more

I live on the Edge of the Western World. Donairo's is the last pizza joint you'll find before running into 8000 miles of Pacific Ocean. Not sure what the pizza-scene is when you hit the other side, but suffice it to say this is the end of the line for a while. Donairo's is pretty much a classic pizza joint. Pizzas, Calzones, Subs, Salads and Wings. If you visit the actual restaurant they have slices, but I would imagine most of their business comes from delivery. Of my visits, all but one have been on Grubhub. Being fairly close the delivery times have always been good. I've found the food to be solid. They are not reinventing any wheels. I've ordered the Veggie Calzone quiet a few times and it's fairly substantial. Prices are about average. Best Feature: They are open late. Pro Tip: I like to have the Calzone cut in half, rather than multiple pieces. read more

My custom pizza came out what I would personally consider perfect. I picked it up a few minutes after it was ready, chatted for a couple minutes, spent a few minutes driving it back to my hotel room. By then, it had cooled enough for my sensitive palate. The toppings were evenly spread and co-mingling. The regular thickness crust was delightfully fluffy with a light crispiness. I had my pizza half pesto, half extra red sauce, both perfectly balanced with my choice of toppings. My choice in toppings added a little heft to the bill, but I overstuffed myself on half an extra large, minus half a slice. And no need for a salad for me because I had half my favorite veggies on the pizza. So I totally feel the price I paid was well worth it. So, if you want to know my custom pizza toppings... Salami Italian sausage (which wasn't spicy hot) Spinach Mushrooms Roma tomatoes Black olives Artichoke hearts Cheddar cheese on top Note: I have a sensitivity to foods that are spicy hot, and was very happy that neither of the meats nor the red sauce were too spicy for me. And for those who do enjoy the burn, crushed 2 pepper packets were nestled in the box along with 2 parmesan cheese packets. I asked for 2 ranch dips at the door when I went to pick up the pizza, but barely touched one after eating half the pizza. Didn't need it. Flavors were perfect. Veggie toppings were juicy, crust never got soggy. Fyi, I used to work at a mom n pop pizza joint, and had also been manager at a pizza chain. Yeah, that may have been almost 20 years ago, but I can affirm that all the toppings and dough were fresh, and service came with a smile. And the balance of toppings and surface coverage were just right. I'll definitely remember this place any time I'm visiting the SF VA Medical Center and am craving an excellently made pizza. read more

Finally I decided to treat myself to a slice and then make decisions for future visits. Well, upon entering, the owner was so nice and friendly, a major plus! Debating what to cook for dinner tonight, we decided to go with Donairo's Pizza. I ordered directly through yelp using grub hub pick up.. The farm was the pizza of choice. I got a small for a serving for 2 and it was the perfect size for a HBO and Chill kind of night. Parking was a pain in the rear; and street parking is a challenge, unless you have a Mini Cooper or fiat you'd be fine, other than that good luck! Pizza came out perfectly baked. I love the decor with its bright neon lights and authentic wood oven. We shared their Margherita pizza! It was thin crust with light sauce. Airy, crispy, and delicious! What made this even more frustrating was the amount paid for delivery. In addition to the food cost, I paid a $3.99 delivery fee, a $5.70 service fee, and tipped the driver $5.50. For that kind of added cost, I think it's reasonable to expect the pizza to arrive level, intact, and hot. The restaurant is about 4 miles from my house, and it appeared the delivery was made by bicycle, which may explain why the pizza ended up tilted and damaged during transport. I can't say that for certain, but something clearly went wrong between the restaurant and my door. The pizza itself may have been good fresh out of the oven, but the delivery experience completely ruined it.

On a busy Friday night, they ran out of cheese and a few other options for a while since they were so busy churning out whole pies to go. I get 2-3 slices (they're big but thingdepending on how hungry I am. $4.75 for cheese, and $5.75 for all other toppings. Out of the couple times I've been, Pepperoni Mushroom has been my favorite slice mostly due to how flavorful it is, followed by Cheese/Plain, then lastly the Julian (red pepper, onion, mushroom) which I found didn't have enough tomato sauce for my liking. My friend tried the Tomato Garlic and didn't like it much, maybe just because there wasn't any tomato sauce.

They have a great lunch deal which everyone should be taking advantage of - all their goodies at reduced prices! But even their regular prices are really decent. The pizza and wings are particularly good and although I rarely order salad from someplace their salads were definitely worth it. Can't wait to order again!
