After losing our local chain of Pizza Huts in Buffalo, NY recently that were around for 50 years; decided the next time I came across a Pizza Hut had to order for nostalgic sake. My mom and I recently drove down to Erie, PA and decided to order some pizza with breadsticks. First of I ended up going to the location on Peach St, not realizing that there was another location as well on Pennisula Ave. Even though there was a little mix up on location, food overall was fresh, warm, ingriedents were well porportion on the pizza. Ended up ordering at first the thin crust pizza with half mushroom, and half pinapple and a double order of breadsticks. My mom and I enjoyed the pizza and reasonable value for the money we ordered a medium of the hand toss mushroom to go. Overall, Pizza Hut we visited was clean, pleasent modern enviroment, even though the dinning area was closed that was ok, we were able to wait inside and had a pleasent conversation with Diana who took care of our orders. I saw a sign on there window adversting lunch for $ 5 with a drink, which is an exceptional value. Overall, pizza and breadsticks were as delicious as I remembered them in the past.

I stopped in at this Pizza Hut as they have lunch buffet. Prices vary at different locations but this one is still at old price of $5.99 and it's newly built unit with really pleasant environment not normal Pizza hit units. This time I stopped in and had time to write a review. Being vegetarian I love to be at lunch time buffet, it's worth it. Service by desk clerk acting as Also table server for drinks!! Pleasant person at my shift when I asked to have veggies pizza being grass lover.. ordered one for all guestsHe let it known when it was ready!! Love this .. may be I should change my review to Five star which I just did it.

The pizza has such a good balance of flavors with the perfectly thin airy crust. I definitely recommend dining in as you will enjoy the fresh-out-of-the-oven pie. There are plenty of seatings at the bar and tables. They serve alcohol and gelato as well. I'll definitely go back to try other stuff on the menu FYI, if you order for pick up, order directly from their website (with Toast system), it would be the best deal in comparison to other ordering service.

Once the crew arrived we went to the front area where ippa is being served and ordered from the bar. There were about 6 pizza options, Stromboli, garlic bread and two specials. We decided to order the Rita (Margherita pizza) and Pepperoni squared (double pepperoni pizza) and a large garlic bread. We took a seat next to the bar right before the live music started. The order came out within 10 minutes. This might be some of the best pizza I've ever had I could taste the fresh ingredients, the garlic, spices cheese all of out was absolutely outstanding. While I enjoyed the live music aspect it was a touch too loud. I look forward to visiting Ippa again the next time I'm in Erie.

The toppings and cheese were flavorful (can't go wrong with a greasy meat meat combo). The price is reasonable on a per size and per topping basis. Unfortunately, a good stiff crust is nearly half of quality pizza. The middle-bottom portion sags immediately and you need two steady hands to catch the toppings. Aside from the crust, there is one register and operator, so on a busy take out night, one chatty customer phone call handcuffs the entire takeout operation. They need two registers to alleviate the take out pressure in case of a phone order (or write the phone order and allow someone else to process take out orders). Finally, I was forced to take a email or text receipt. Basic business operation should consist of offering a paper receipt. Older folks, buying for someone else, expensing meals all work better with paper receipts. I only hope their printer was broken. If your local, give them a try, but it's probably not worth a long drive East.

It's located in Millcreek Mall & you can enter from mall parking lot or from inside mall itself. Our server was friendly & efficient with nice recommendations. I loved my pasta carbonara & our guest loved her spaghetti & meatballs (two HUGE meatballs). They have a nice happy hour & I had a French martini mixed well. We loved the zucchini blossom appetizer. The large wedge salad was good. And the garlic knot bread with shaved Parmesan is a nice touch, we got an extra basket. My husband & other male guest had the linguini & clams and were not as pleased. One said it was just ok, broth weak & unflavorful and the other guest gave it a 3/10 saying clams were overcooked & chewy. Desserts were good, we had pistachio gelato and strawberry shortcake. We would return & try again if in the area.

The appetizer we ordered was the Fresh Tomato Pepperonata... this was a 10/10... it was amazing and gr8 way to start the meal! Perfect way to get in your vegetables. Was a little disappointed that the server picked it up without asking us... since almost half the plate was still left. We also ordered the "Sicilian" with Chicken Pizzette. This was also a 10/10! Our favorite of the night. The artichoke, Spinach, and tomato combo created blast of flavor in your mouth. The Carbonara was a 3/10. The server mentioned it would be more creamy and saucy and we were ok with that. For us it was WAAAY to salty. Not sure what happened there. Could have been the prosciutto as mentioned by the chef, but unsure. They were gracious enough to take it off the bill. We'll be back for sure. If you're in the Erie area and craving Italian food, definitely worth checking it out especially if you're near Peach street.

They're lucky I called them to let them know that my motor blue. But to ban somebody for something as stupid as that. I actually knew that I wasn't allowed to order. They didn't tell me I was banned. She just wouldn't accept the orders from my phone so I would use my grandson's phone or use my house phone, but of course I'm in my car so I decided to place the order without thinking about it. It's actually most times when I order I just go pick it up and her son's usually there or somebody else is behind the counter, but I have been ordering for Mamma Mia's since they were on peach Street 25 years ago.
