Pretty disappointed in Texas RH. Just me and they tried to sit me at a table in the middle of a ton of loud people. I asked for a booth and they had one right next to the table and they said well I have to see if we have any tables available. Finally got moved. Got the rolls and they are all different sizes and over cooked. Got my salad and half was brown. What's going on these days.

This was only my 2nd time eating at a tx roadhouse. My first time in Buffalo was so awesome I couldn't wait to take my friend for his first time to one in Erie. Which I regret! My first time in Buffalo they brought out samples of sides, peanuts, were ontop of drink refills, and were ontop of roll refills. My friends and I bought premium sides because we liked the samples at Buffalo so well. We even bought chili as appetizers in Buffalo. Here in Erie it was the total opposite and my friend didn't get why i recommended it so highly because it was a bad experience in comparison. There was no "so happy to hear it's your first time!" No first time guests samples No peanuts without asking No roll refills without flagging your waitress down and asking No drink refills without flagging your waitress down and asking Long wait to pay cash because the waitress would rather you check yourself out on the tablet. Food was served cold probably because our waitress left it sitting. Our waitress never smiled so we tipped her badly because of her bad service and attitude.

The food was very tasty and savory, and came with a good amount of sides that i chose. The steak did have quite a bit of fat on it, but nothing I couldn't have cut off. The service was a bit slower, but it was because I came during opening time when many groups were lining up to get seated. The lighting is low, but it is very signature of every texas roadhouse no matter which one I visit.

The food was enticing to the palate , the rolls so soft and fresh. The seasoning on the outside of the baked potato complimented the cheese bacon sour cream. Very flavorful. The steak was prepared just as asked, so tender and juicy. Savored it in every bite. They have cheesecake as well with strawberry sauce. The cheesecake was as satisfying as Cheesecake Factory. The waitress was very prompt , outstanding job. Always a five star for a restaurant that takes pride in food and service. Thank you , will be back soon.

Always loud but that is expected. Steak was on point. Our waitress was one of the bartenders and she was attentive and friendly.

Walking in I didn't get that bbq vibe right off the bat. Sure there were some sauces and ribs for sale but I was kind of left wondering if this was a bbq place. Our waiter / cook/ bartender had us seated in the wide open dining area and drinks moving in no time, we placed our food order shortly afterwards. The misses got the nachos, the chips were probably the best part of the dish, the queso was on the bland side and the chicken ... well some was tender and some really not so much. Kind of in impressed. The little yelper was down for her usual tenders, there was two large hand breaded tenders in the basket, and some fries. The tender breading wasn't a hit with her but that chicken was better than the nachos meat. After some peeling she ate it. The fries though, definitely could have used a little more time down, the weren't really crispy and had a hot sog to them. I got the smoked wings. Hellfire and rust belt. Of the two rubs the rust belt was the sweetest and overall best , but I'm a fan of spice and the hellfire was definitely the winner. The chicken wings had the same Kind of inconsistency . Some were perfectly cooked, others a bit dry. But their bleu cheese really was the standout for me. As a top wing reviewer in 2025 I've had a lot of wings and bleu cheese. This I would probably give a 7/10. Definitely saved the day with the wings. Underdog was a bit underwhelming but service really saved the day here. He was attentive, helpful And overall just great. The food however, definitely not what we had hoped for.

The history behind this place is inspiring and seeing it still owning its roots and going strong still feels great to support! The food is just too great to miss!!!!!!

On the former site of Underdog BBQ is Outlaw Barbecue…read more I thought GPS was taking me to Underdog (which I had reviewed a few years ago). I walked in and immediately noticed a difference. Where were the butcher block tables? I asked if the restaurant was under new ownership ... yes and today was opening day. Aught oh ... Of course there were some glitches. No biggies. My "chicken fingers/french fries only" guest ordered the mac and cheese. I ordered the house salad, 1/2 rack, and cornbread. Head lettuce was the main component of the salad. The Chipotle salad dressing had some unexpected zing. The 1/2 rack was seasoned well. The additional bbq sauce was chilled from the fridge so was a mismatch to the hot ribs. A steak knife would have made it easier to cut the ribs apart. The mac and cheese was over the top delicious. My 8 yr companion actually went and told the chef how good it was ... then ordered 3 servings for takeout. It was packaged for the 2 hr trip back to Pittsburgh. So once they get over opening glitches, this restaurant will be a destination for bbq. Looking forward to bring my 8 yr old companion's family back for more mac and cheese and ribs.

Yes, this is in the location where there used to be a different BBQ place. Sounds like its a totally different business. The place itself is pretty tiny. About three tables and hightop chairs along the bar. The menu is on the wall and huge! We ordered the kids Octodog which was a huge it. It is a hot dog cut into the shape of an octopus and served over macaroni and cheese. The octopus even had a face cut into it. My daughter said it was almost too cute to eat. My husband got the two dog special - two smaller versions of their signature dogs - because he was having a hard time deciding. They were served on "regular" hot dog rolls vs. the specialty buns most of theirs come on, but it was a perfect way to get to try two different flavors for the price of one of their signature dogs. I got the greek fries. DELICIOUS! I love the flavor of their greek sauce and the combo of the ingredients was just perfect. If I order this in the future, I'll probably add a hot dog chopped up on the top (to get the taste of a favorite dish from a hot dog shop back home). Service was quick and friendly. Overall a wonderful place with a great selection of unique and creative fry and hot dog options. Definitely a place we will be back to!

That's all you taste is smoke. I am aware that it's bbq and that the food would have been smoky but this is way too much. Even my father who is an avid meat smoker agreed. There were also 5 out of 8 who ended up with food poisoning. 10/10 not a good experience. Based off of the sickness alone I would not go back. My father called and left a detailed message just letting them know that 5 of us got sick. Last I knew he hadn't heard back from them. The item in common that us sick people had was the brisket.

Nice touch of the butcher paper. The sausage had great spice & smoke. The pulled pork was sort of an after thought as the sausage portion was good, the pork could have been a little more abundant. The décor is nice, with a hand-painted mural in the back room that tells the story of the Que/Dude. Several pieces of art/photography on the walls. I expect it to evolve . . . I enjoyed the sandwich enough that I got a pound of pulled pork to go (now in the freezer after a suitable sampling) one thing I like is that the pulled pork is just that. It comes with sauce on the side although. The smoke and flavor of this pork is excellent and did not require any sauce to be thoroughly enjoyed. I will be going back soon as there are sooo many items on their menu that I need to try. Which includes the ice cream!

We didn't like anything. Everything was flavorless, and over priced. We had the firebird's duranjo burger. Nice size, but over cooked and not seasoned. The parmesean crusted chicken, although a nice size and cooked perfectly again no seasoning, expected to be able taste the Parmesan crust, nothing.. We both upgraded our side to the southwest au gratin potatoes. Au gratin potatoes a creamy jalepeno cream sauce sounds like a flavor bomb, NOPE, the potatoes were under cooked and not sure how you manage not to get flavor out of jalepeno cream sauce, but they did! The crispy cauliflower with the jar sweet chili sauce was probably the best thing we did have. You can get brunch all day so, I ordered the hipster toast, and I was pictured cat fished. Mine was nothing like the picture, although I appreciate they didn't build the toast for take out and allowed me to do that myself. Still, there was maybe 7 little little cubes of avocado, no pickled onions, no spiced pecans, no parmesan cheese. What I did get was a piece of toast with goat cheese, then a box of arugula, 7 pieces of small small avocado, candied bacon pieces, radishes and heirloom tomatoes. Basically a 17 plus salad on bread. Totally a waste and not worth it. I will say though, the cilantro lime vinaigrette was delicious. But spending over 90 bucks and only enjoying a vingerette and cauliflower, won't have be coming back. Maybe ordering on Superbowl Sunday was a mistake, but I'll never know.
