We been ordering food here since I was a little girl. Recently the person who claimed to be the manager have been constantly messing our food up back to back. At first we didn't think of nothing of it kept ordering thinking it's on mistake. As time went by my other relatives started ordering food from also and started to realize it was not on accident that it was indeed on purpose when it became clear what they was doing when the food mess up was a continuing thing. I tried even call back and let them know that they mess up and solve the issues and that it was probably was a disconnect in her or mine communication while taken orders or the fact she only heard some of the order and not all of it but either way we just wanted our food that we paid $79.89 worth of stuff made correctly. The way that the "claimed manger" was talking to me off the back was beyond rude behavior and the only thing she was worried about is why the heck my huge family was continuing to order from their establishment so much. The truth is me and my family created this bond with stevos pizza for years by ordering their food that I remember as a kid. The lack of treatment of respect was shockingly surprising. The way we was talked to or the lack of situation that was resolved was beyond disappointed. My family who's been on going customer that order from y'all for about 45+ years are going to finally saying goodbye to Steveo's Pizza. We will take our long time business elsewhere who actually cherish their long time customers. read more

So, it breaks my heart to make this review. I used to really like Stevo's pizza. I loved their wings, their subs, their fries, their soups, and even their ranch dressing. We used to order from here, and I'm not exaggerating, 3 to 4 times a week, and did so for our first year and a half after moving back to the area. Sometimes I'd call, sometimes my wife would call, and sometimes our roommate would call, which is why they don't all show on my picture. Everything changed during my last 3 orders with them (I give every place I order from a "three strikes and you're out" set of chances). Strike one was when I ordered a pepperoni pizza and 6 sides of ranch for delivery. The delivery was quick, but the driver quickly admitted that he forgot our ranch, so he went back for it. We waited until he returned with the ranch, 30 minutes later, to open the pizza and find out he had delivered a plain cheese pizza (we were charged for pepperoni). By the time we found out, it was late, we were hungry, and just shrugged it off and ate the cheese pizza. Strike 2 was when I called to make an order. I was immediately put on hold, but the person who took the call just put the phone down. I could hear a political discussion between two people going on in the background but I don't know if it was a TV, radio, or two employees. I could also hear customers coming in and making orders. After being on "hold" for 17 minutes, I decided to hang up. I would then try to call back several times over the course of the next hour, though every time I would get a busy signal. They must not have wanted to make money that night, or they were otherwise oblivious to the fact that no phone orders were coming in. Strike 3 was, for me, the final straw. It was April Fools Day, April 1, 2021, but apparently the restaurant thought I was the fool. So, for a pick up order, we ordered 6 bowls of broccoli cheese soup. They're small bowls, but they are delicious, and we also ordered 6 sides of ranch (at 59 cents each, at the time). My wife and I liked to keep helpings of their ranch dressing on hand, and we had run out the night before. Two bags were handed to me when I picked up the order, so I assumed one was soup and one was ranch. No, each had 3 soups, and there was no ranch to be found, which had been the real reason we ordered. Needless to say, I was miffed. I was actually upset for a second reason too. In one of the bags, the soup on the bottom was sideways, but I didn't notice that it had leaked all over until getting home. As you can see from my attached photo, I made the order at 7:19, and after we picked it up and went home, I tried calling back 3 times before giving up, as each time was met with a busy signal. Been there, done that. It was not busy at all when I was there waiting for my order, I doubt it would have picked up that much later on. They probably took the phone off the hook so they wouldn't have to make food for call in orders again. After giving up on the attempt to reach them by phone, I sent their Facebook page a message that they ignored (after having previously communicated with me over Facebook with an issue I had months earlier [January 10, 2021 to be exact] with a long delayed delivery that resulted in very cold food, which they had quickly resolved to my satisfaction, and which kept us ordering from them afterwards). Well, they never responded to the issue I had on April 1, 2021. Further attempts to reach them through their Facebook page for resolution were met with no response, so I gave up, but I hold grudges, and refused to give them any more service until I heard back from them. Several months and more attempts to reach them for resolution went by without response. All I wanted was to receive the 6 sides of ranch I'd ordered and paid for. This restaurant has lost untold thousands of dollars from my household in the last 10 months, all because they decided to rip me off of $3.54 (plus tax) worth of ranch dressing. Unbelievable, but true. I'll continue to refuse to patronize this restaurant until this issue gets resolved. Once it does, I'll gladly remove this review and put up one more befitting of their food quality and taste. read more

One of the best pizza restaurants in Erie. I love the taco pizza, it's my favorite. They also have the best chicken wings with a great variety of flavors. Their customer service is very good. Cleanliness is 100%. I hope they maintain this wonderful level of good service and great taste. read more

Ordered delivery from here on a Saturday night around 8pm. Had 1 large plain cheese pizza delivered to our hotel, which the delivery driver brought to our room about 35-40 minutes after ordering - which was an unexpected and appreciated surprise. The pizza was hot and tasted good. I'd say the quality is slightly better than a Papa John's or Vocelli's. Good amount of cheese, good hand-tossed crust, and I'd say an average sauce. 1 large cost $17 before tip; which I thought was fair based on the size/quality/flavor of the za. Not the best pizza I've had by a long shot, but I definitely recommend in a pinch. I give 4 stars for the speed, extra effort, price, and decent flavor. read more

I was wondering why this place tasted so familiar, and then it hit me: this is Little Caesar's, down to the cornmeal-flecked, spongy, clearly-preformed-and-frozen crust to the tasteless toppings. The only thing different is that, should you so choose, you can get it as a 16-inch New York style slice. Yeah, that's not good if you are a small business that needs to set itself apart from chains, typically by being more artisanal, to survive. Charging ~$12 for something that is exactly the same as what can be purchased for $5 at the dregs of fast food pizza is definitely not artisanal, lol. Maybe one of their more novelty menu items (Sicilian, deep dish, and stuffed pizza) might set them apart but I would be afraid to spend the money on it to check just to be served what amounts to the deep dish Little Caesar's pizza at twice the price. So I'm not sure who this caters to unless there is a masochistic subset of Little Caesar fans who want to buy their budget pizza at local pizzeria prices. If that doesn't describe you, you might want to give Stevo's a miss! read more

Devo's Pizza is interesting, because to make the dough, they Whip It. They Whip It Good. This is not that. It's not easy to even give them a 3, because the service was some of the more annoyed and reluctant behaviour I've encountered on my travels. Like, are you really coming in here and asking for a slice of pizza? And the pizza, while edible, tasted a lot like something you'd get from Papa John's and Domino's or even from your own oven. Well its good to know the recommendation of locals when you are visiting from out of town. Maybe it was just an off night for delivery orders. Two locations so delivery is definitely a great plus. My friends and I ordered while at the Sheraton hotel one night and they didnt take too long - average but funny we were craving fries and ordered the "greek fries" and what came .. well is a mystery. It was a bed of fries - smothered with ground meat with cheese (pictured).. obviously the order was wrong. We didnt eat the fries.. they smelled funky.. later confirmed these were considered "greek fries" not at all what we expected (not having a menu". ) the pizza we ordered - just pepp was ok - but sauce was too sweet for me. My wife order me pizza and wings from this place friday night. Meduim new york cheese pizza with pepperoni and mild wings. The pizza was delivered with no pepperoni on it and the wings were just butter, not to mention soggy. I tried to call right after the delivery, phone just kept ringing. So i called the next day, a lady answered and said i shouls have called last night, and that a night shift employee will call me later. Never recived a phone call. Probably the best pizza in Erie. Staff is great too. Was in the hospital giving support to family during a tragedy, delivery guy went the extra mile to go to area I needed the food dropped off. Knew Stevo's would be the pizza everyone liked, even the out of towners , didn't know the service would be as good as the food. Normally I eat in for work lunches so was my first delivery experience. Worse service I've had in my entire life. This place needs to go through the basics of customer service. We ordered the supreme veggie over the phone and I checked the pizza upon arrival and it had meat on it. The employee proceeded to claim that we ordered the supreme that has sausage and pepperoni, thus I called the person that ordered and verified we ordered the supreme veggie. Further, looking at the menu, the STEVOS supreme has meat on it. Not once did we say STEVOS on the phone. This, when I went to get the pizza that was made correctly with no meat, I let the employee know that the customer is always right (as this is the basics) of customer service. He proceeded to claim that we should have ordered it right on the phone. Well no, you should have clarified if we wanted STEVOS or VEGGIE, even though we said veggie on the phone. We are 100% we ordered the veggie supreme on the phone and did not say STEVOS at all. As an employee you need to respect the customer at all times. This restaurant did not. This is the first place I've ever been where I have received such nasty customer service. Let alone, you all made an error, we shouldn't have even paid for the pizza. That's how you run a good business. Just saying, you all need to get yourselves in line because to go out of your way to be an as*#%le to a customer is disrespectful and goes against all of the basic customer service you should know if you are interacting with an individual that is purchasing something from you. I wouldn't have written such a terrible review but for the employee to go out of his way multiple times to tell me I was Wrong, is terrible and not right. read more

I went into Stevo's Pizza yesterday on State St. and was very happy with what we had. The pizza is BY FAR the best in Erie County that I have had. We used to frequent Brooklyn Pizza, but -- being in the State St. area, we finally made it into Stevo's. The overall flavor is better. The sauce is not overwhelming and the crust is thin, crispy, and delicious. The pizza is a great size, and I love the smaller slices -- especially to share with the kids. Having lived in Philadelphia and traveled to NYC, Jersey Shore, etc.., I am familiar with the type of pizza in larger cities. This pizza did not disappoint at all. What I especially love is, combined with all of the great qualities, it was not overly greasy (which is typically a quality in NY style pizza) and it was not messy at all - very enjoyable experience. We added buffalo wings to our order as well and they were great. The flavor was good and there was a lot of sauce (buffalo) but it wasn't overwhelming, just the perfect amount. The restaurant itself is very clean, comfortable, and has an inviting atmosphere. There are a lot of drink options and an excellent food selection. I also love the fact that there are so many pizzas in the window for slice purchases. I am sure people in the area that frequent the location love the convenience as well. Overall, I highly recommend this location to anyone. We are not from the immediate area so it took us a while to stop in but we will definitely be back again in the future! read more

The pizza here was pretty good overall. The sauce seemed a little chunky and mildly sour but when combined with the other ingredients, it actually made for a good pie. The restaurant itself was a bit dingy inside and smelled like a really old house. It did however seem clean and neat. We ordered the chicken breast salad and a chicken salad pita pocket sandwich for delivery. The delivery was faster than estimated and the driver was super friendly, but the food lacked flavor. We ordered from the Peninsula Drive restaurant as we have heard great things and its in the neighborhood. I called the order in and was told 35 minutes for pickup, which was not bad at all for a Friday evening in the summer. When I got there at 30 minutes I had to stand in line and wait for 15 minutes to get to the register, gave the girl my name and she ran around the corner and got the pizza. She processed my payment, thanked me and I left. The box was hot. I drove 4 blocks home and when we got inside, the pizza, while hot, looked like it had been sitting for about a half hour. The cheese had hardened up and the entire crust, top and bottom, was very overdone (might say burnt). The pizza was overall good, but it was 16 dollars and that's kind of expensive for a charred, old pizza. While waiting in line several people ahead of me that were placing orders to eat in were told an hour for their food and they turned around and left. Several people standing waiting for pickup had placed a counter order to go and had been waiting for an hour. really????? Where is your customer service????? NOT going to order from here again, might try the other location once before we never go back as the food was decent, although a little overdone. There are WAAAAAAAAY too many other good pizza places in Erie for this one to do very well if they keep up this standard (or lack thereof). Antipasto salad? I take my food very serious. As I am also in the food business, I make it my responsibility to protect others from food borne illness. "First in first out" should be a priority and I can not stand when a problem as simple as rotten lettuce could have been avoided just by following this procedure. This used to be my go to and now I am scarred for life. The smell when I opened the container was enough but I looked under the meats and cheese and found brown slimy lettuce. What a way to tell a customer to never spend their money there again. I'm insulted that I spent my money here and that they didn't even care enough to make sure that they gave me fresh food. I'm not sure what happened to the standards of this establishment but it's not my job to investigate. You lost a loyal customer. read more
