Its a very typical family owned pizza joint in fairview pa. Busy at lunch when we were there. Nothing mindblowing... but solid food at a fair price. Would definitely be back Ate with my son for lunch. Large pizza , half cheese, half mush. Sausage Order of fried mushrooms After we got our order. The lady at the counter brought us out more mushrooms . Her reason was she didnt feel like we got enough in our order. WOW... i was fine with what we got and thought it seemed fair. We never said a word about it .... She did it on her own.... The reason you go local over dominos in fairview.... read more

Love the medium supreme! We usually don't order the large because it tends to be greasy. But mediums work out well.

Pizza variety is awesome. Chicken bacon ranch pizza is by far superior than any other there. The bits of chicken and bacon are super flavorful. Pierogi pizza was scrumptious. The layer of mashed potatoes really makes it taste like a pierogi. Small pizzeria with a nice sitting area to enjoy. Service was great. The people are very nice and helpful. read more

Delicious! I'm a big fan of Pizza. This one was amazing! Fresh and meaty! When we head that way again we will be stopping. read more

I'm not sure how to even give them business when they don't answer the phone and you can't order online...

I arrived at the time my pizza was supposed to be done. I was told it would be a few more minutes. While waiting the girl dropped a sub on the floor (it was wrapped) and put it back on the counter. Customer wanted it replaced and staff was very rude, even intentionally threw the original sub onto the floor. Everyone hides behind a big wall and you can't see or talk to anyone - I had to go open the door again so the bell would ring to bring someone to the counter. I also had to inquire about my pizza after waiting an additional 10 minutes. She didn't remember my name or what I was waiting for (there were only 3 of us there waiting). After getting my pizza and taking it home I discovered the shell was not fully baked - it was moist & doughy inside. I doubt I will order from there again, I realize help can be hard to find - but there needs to be someone in charge who values customer service - the two individuals working tonight did not. read more

..............Unique, consistent & friendly every time i go there. ............wonderful selection repeat customer

The NEW SABOS is the same as the OLD SABOs. Chicken ranch was delectable as before. The new pickle pizza was sooo cheesy and filling. Highly recommend the new location. read more

I've tried calling them a number of times and no one answers. I went and talked to a employee and was told they don't have a phone. So you either have to order online or go there and wait for an order this is very inconvenient. luckily there's lots of pizza shops in my area!!!!!!! read more

I love Sabo's food. However today the service was less than stellar! I ordered in person at 4:40 pm & was told it would be 20 minutes which was fine. People who ordered their food after me They got their food first. I waited 35 minutes & had to ask about My order. The Cheese Sticks were cold when I got home (I live close to Sabo's) & My pizza was a little warmer. read more

Well, we can't write an accurate review because after calling repeatedly for about an hour we can't get anyone to answer the phone. This has happened on multiple days. Extremely frustrating. read more

I just had my order delivered. The wing I order where not what I got. They said medium was bbq with spice. My pizza was soggy and not cooke extra well. I understand sometimes things happen. The lady we spoke was unwilling to help or make an exchange. As we where a new customer and just moved out here. We even asked to speak to a manager. Was told we couldn't do that. We definitely we will not be ordering from here again. Im a chef at a local gold club, we be telling all member not to eat here. read more

Love love love their antipasto salads and the pizza is amazing! The pierogi pizza is my favorite but if you are looking for the best antipasto salad then look no further this is the place for you. read more

Great tasting pizza, subs, & antipasto. Kids love their pizza sauce and they deliver in our area. Better than the chain pizzas.

Delivery Time was great But the Meatball Sub had very little flavor to it The bun was stale and the meatballs had a texture of a overripe tomatoes Never again read more

Food is fantastic but not one staff member was wearing a mask properly. All of them were pulled down below their noses. The cashier even wiped her nose and mouth with the back of her hand and did not wash or sanitize her hands before bringing me my order. I will not be going back until we have a vaccine for the coronavirus. read more

This place is hit or miss. On one occasion my whole family got sick after eating the pizza. E we had gone there before without any problems though prior to this. Employees are always friendly and accommodating. Not sure this is going to be a regular place for us. read more

Sabos is back and better than ever! The club sub is amazing! Always great great customer service on the phone and while at the establishment. Quick to get your food out too. Will definitely be back. read more

The food is pretty good. The male owner is another story. My best analogy would be one of those guys of small stature who was picked on during childhood. Now that they have some sort of a position of power, they take out their rage on employees and customers. Joe is a douchebag, a snitch, and fails to understand the concept of keeping his nose out of other people's business. P.S. Don't ever pay with a check, it will cost you in the long run. read more

Tried Sabo's for the first time based on rave reviews from others. I live half an hour from the pizza shop, and happened to be in the area the other day. I was quite disappointed. When I mentioned it was my first time there and came based on great reviews from others, I was simply told to let them know when I was ready to order. The pizza was equally as disappointing. I ordered a basic "cheese and pep" pizza. While the cheese was good, the crust was quite chewy and thin. When I picked up a piece of pizza, grease dripped off of the slices and onto my pants. This happened with several pieces of pizza. I would rather not have more cheese than crust or other toppings, and would not prefer to use a paper towel on my food before eating it. Perhaps the shop was having a bad day, because I am not sure dozens would rave about this. read more

I'm so sad because I live in Lake City now and can't get Sabo's delivered to us! AWESOME pizza! Expand delivery to Lake City!!!!

OK I am not a huge pizza fan. I hate that everywhere you go the only pizza or special pizza of the month is Pepperoni and cheese. This place though blows everyone else out of the water. They have really innovative pizzas for a small place. I have tried the Pirogi pizza which is really good, but heavy. The bruschetta pizza which is the best they have as well as the Philly cheese steak and the bacon cheeseburger pizza. I wish this place was down the road from me cuz i could eat their pizza every day. The price is right on for pizza, but seating is limited. You can eat outside though. Plus they actually take credit cards. Ya-hoo. If your passing through on 95, 20, or 5, it is worth the extra 5 minute drive to get there. You gotta eat this pizza. read more

The best pizza in all of Erie county! I love their pizza with cheese, pepperoni, sausage & meatballs. Their lasagna speciality pizza is not to be missed! Their nightmare sub is another personal favorite. Forget the national chains & go with Sabo's. read more

This is the pizza shop that (almost) all locals of Fairview go to! It is really busy most nights due to popularity but in 10+ years I have had consistent fast and friendly service both with delivery or pick-up. read more

Good pizza, and good service. It's a thicker crust, but it's tasty. Prices are very reasonable, and I recommend it if your in the area. Note- They deliver to the KOA in McKean if you are wiped out after a big day and don't feel like cooking. read more

I generally make it a rule of thumb not to eat pizza outside of NY (or Chicago or Argentina if I'm ever in that neck of the woods) because it is my humble opinion that all others pale in comparison. So I had pretty low expectations when the group I was with chanted that they wanted Sabo's Pizza the day after we stuffed ourselves on Thanksgiving dinner. Their arguments were even less compelling, "the greasiest pizza ever- good drunk, hungover, OR sober!" Well, we ordered 2 pies for a group of 9 people, and it certainly wasn't enough. The pepperoni pie was indeed pretty greasy looking, but I didn't taste it. I had the vegetable pizza, and 2 slices later I was absolutely happy we decided to order there. It was so satisfying, I would absolutely order from them again! read more

Amazing! The baked potato or pierogi pizzas are the best (chicken bacon ranch is good, too) -- and you can't get them anywhere else! This is seriously some of the best pizza out there!! The regular cheese and pepporoni is ok, but their specialty pizzas are by far the best. The curly fries are great. The subs are pretty tasty, too. read more

We live within a mile of the shop and are usually there at least once a week. Food quality is excellent, big variety and the staff seems like a cool group that works hard to keep things moving. When my brother visits from Virginia, the first thing he wants to do is get a Sabo's pizza with bacon, sausage and banana peppers. read more

Their Mistletoe Pizza, that is a white pizza with spinach, feta cheese & I believe tomato basil is probably one of the best tasting foods I've ever eaten. Their delivery service is quite good also. Excellent place. read more

I really enjoyed my full meatball & cheese sub when I ate in, although it should come with a standard fork, as it can open up on you. The only thing which stood out was that the restaurant could use some TLC. It was somewhat untidy. The air conditioner wasn't sealed for the winter, so we promptly moved from that table. Just one question: What's with the tilted sinking table(s)? Did the Erie extension canal run under there? read more

Food is great! That being said, staff needs to remember there are people that have dietary issues and allergies. When you make special requests (no cheese, no tomatoes, etc) they sometimes fall on deaf ears. When I walked in to pay for and pick up my food, there was staff complaining that I asked for no cheese. read more

Great pizza! I'd also recommend the cheesy bread. I've never had a bad experience with take out here.

Best pizza in erie(Fairview). I wish they would open in town. Good service decent prices and awesome food

ordered take out 2 hours ago. no delivery. called and was lied to and offered 25% off my next order. woohoo, 3 dollars. they wanted to deliver the pizza that had been on the oven, warming for two hours. i was put on hold for 5 minutes until the manager came to the phone. horrible service and no resolve for their mistake. read more
