Pizza variety is awesome. Chicken bacon ranch pizza is by far superior than any other there. The bits of chicken and bacon are super flavorful. Pierogi pizza was scrumptious. The layer of mashed potatoes really makes it taste like a pierogi. Small pizzeria with a nice sitting area to enjoy. Service was great. The people are very nice and helpful. read more

I arrived at the time my pizza was supposed to be done. I was told it would be a few more minutes. While waiting the girl dropped a sub on the floor (it was wrapped) and put it back on the counter. Customer wanted it replaced and staff was very rude, even intentionally threw the original sub onto the floor. Everyone hides behind a big wall and you can't see or talk to anyone - I had to go open the door again so the bell would ring to bring someone to the counter. I also had to inquire about my pizza after waiting an additional 10 minutes. She didn't remember my name or what I was waiting for (there were only 3 of us there waiting). After getting my pizza and taking it home I discovered the shell was not fully baked - it was moist & doughy inside. I doubt I will order from there again, I realize help can be hard to find - but there needs to be someone in charge who values customer service - the two individuals working tonight did not. read more

I love Sabo's food. However today the service was less than stellar! I ordered in person at 4:40 pm & was told it would be 20 minutes which was fine. People who ordered their food after me They got their food first. I waited 35 minutes & had to ask about My order. I just had my order delivered. The wing I order where not what I got. They said medium was bbq with spice. My pizza was soggy and not cooke extra well. I understand sometimes things happen. The lady we spoke was unwilling to help or make an exchange. As we where a new customer and just moved out here. We even asked to speak to a manager. Was told we couldn't do that. Food is fantastic but not one staff member was wearing a mask properly. All of them were pulled down below their noses. The cashier even wiped her nose and mouth with the back of her hand and did not wash or sanitize her hands before bringing me my order. This place is hit or miss. On one occasion my whole family got sick after eating the pizza. E we had gone there before without any problems though prior to this. Employees are always friendly and accommodating. Not sure this is going to be a regular place for us. read more

The food is pretty good. The male owner is another story. My best analogy would be one of those guys of small stature who was picked on during childhood. Now that they have some sort of a position of power, they take out their rage on employees and customers. Tried Sabo's for the first time based on rave reviews from others. I live half an hour from the pizza shop, and happened to be in the area the other day. I was quite disappointed. When I mentioned it was my first time there and came based on great reviews from others, I was simply told to let them know when I was ready to order. The pizza was equally as disappointing. I ordered a basic "cheese and pep" pizza. While the cheese was good, the crust was quite chewy and thin. When I picked up a piece of pizza, grease dripped off of the slices and onto my pants. This happened with several pieces of pizza. I would rather not have more cheese than crust or other toppings, and would not prefer to use a paper towel on my food before eating it. Perhaps the shop was having a bad day, because I am not sure dozens would rave about this. read more

OK I am not a huge pizza fan. I hate that everywhere you go the only pizza or special pizza of the month is Pepperoni and cheese. This place though blows everyone else out of the water. They have really innovative pizzas for a small place. I have tried the Pirogi pizza which is really good, but heavy. The bruschetta pizza which is the best they have as well as the Philly cheese steak and the bacon cheeseburger pizza. I wish this place was down the road from me cuz i could eat their pizza every day. The price is right on for pizza, but seating is limited. You can eat outside though. Plus they actually take credit cards. Ya-hoo. If your passing through on 95, 20, or 5, it is worth the extra 5 minute drive to get there. You gotta eat this pizza. read more

I generally make it a rule of thumb not to eat pizza outside of NY (or Chicago or Argentina if I'm ever in that neck of the woods) because it is my humble opinion that all others pale in comparison. So I had pretty low expectations when the group I was with chanted that they wanted Sabo's Pizza the day after we stuffed ourselves on Thanksgiving dinner. Their arguments were even less compelling, "the greasiest pizza ever- good drunk, hungover, OR sober!" Well, we ordered 2 pies for a group of 9 people, and it certainly wasn't enough. The pepperoni pie was indeed pretty greasy looking, but I didn't taste it. I had the vegetable pizza, and 2 slices later I was absolutely happy we decided to order there. Amazing! The baked potato or pierogi pizzas are the best (chicken bacon ranch is good, too) -- and you can't get them anywhere else! This is seriously some of the best pizza out there!! We live within a mile of the shop and are usually there at least once a week. Food quality is excellent, big variety and the staff seems like a cool group that works hard to keep things moving. Food is great! That being said, staff needs to remember there are people that have dietary issues and allergies. When you make special requests (no cheese, no tomatoes, etc) they sometimes fall on deaf ears. When I walked in to pay for and pick up my food, there was staff complaining that I asked for no cheese. read more

ordered take out 2 hours ago. no delivery. called and was lied to and offered 25% off my next order. woohoo, 3 dollars. they wanted to deliver the pizza that had been on the oven, warming for two hours. i was put on hold for 5 minutes until the manager came to the phone. horrible service and no resolve for their mistake. read more

My family and I always loved sabo's and never had an issue. Until one day when a pizza was ordered and delivered with a small metal piece that was discovered only after biting into it. It clearly had sauce and cheese baked onto it and looked like something that may have broken off of a cheese grater or something. The owner, joe, stated that it was impossible and that he would need to see it. He sent the delivery driver out again to retrieve the uneaten pizza. The owner called back and said that he didn't see any metal...clearly he didn't notice the missing slice either. I will not surrender the only piece of evidence without a refund. The owner then said that no refund will be given and that I would need to contact my bank in order to put a stop payment order on the card (which will include a fee)....even though he now had the pizza and my payment....which equals theft! Before he hung up on me...which is apparently something he trains his employees to do also....he launched a barrage of expletives aimed at me. I won't deny that their food is good....provided it is free of metal shavings that my 2 year old could have swallowed.....but the way in which business was handled was absolutely inexcusable! I will most definitely be paying the $25 stop payment fee just to keep the original $14 for the pizza out of his pockets! read more
